Was shocked when opening the last doctor's bill. For one thing, they're just now sending a bill from August...why wait 3 months? And the second thing, (the most disturbing thing), they are billing me by the minute. 20 minutes in the doctor's office cost me $167, 30 minutes with another doctor cost me $243, and 40 minutes with a specialist cost me $331. Are doctors charging like attorneys now? This is highway robbery AND gouging AND taking advantage of sick people. Despicable.

Desired outcome: My desired outcome is for Baptist Health to "do better". Paying these rates based on the minute is ridiculous. No wonder some people pass on seeing their doctor with rates like these.
