Hello, I always loved A & W food. the burgers and rings are great. Better then any other Fast Food I know.
About 6 years ago, I became Vegetarian for personal and health reasons. I completely stopped going to A & W for that reason, but when the Beyond Burger came out, I returned and I have to say: " That is one hell of a good burger... Love it"
I have the coupon app on my cell and first of all, I would like to say that I am a bit disappointed because there are always coupons for Teen or Mozza Burgers and combos, but never for the Beyond Meat Burger.
One thing though, is that I order a Beyond Teen with no Bacon and they always punch in the coupon and charge me $1.49 extra because I replace the patty with Beyond Meat. That works for me. I am happy. Can't complain.
But tonight was different. I went to the drive Thru waited for my turn... their was a big line up (it was at 30 Highbury Park dr, Barrhaven, Ontario, Canada, K2J6K8). I ordered a Beyond Teen with no Bacon and stated I had a coupon on the cell app stating the Teen was $3.69, therefore, I should have to pay an extra $1.49 for the BM Patty, total $5.18 + tx and I was refused. I told them that I used Teen Burger coupons on Beyond Teen Burger often and that it has always been accepted every A & W I went to (in Ontario or Quebec) but, they refused and told me they do not do it. I ended up waiting to get thru the car line up, wasted a bunch of time and didn't purchase the burger as it was for me not good customer treatment.
Anyways, I needed to let someone know. I do not think its right if everywhere else, they accept a Teen Coupon on a Beyond Teen burger, that this place they don't.
And also a suggestion, it would be nice to see Beyond coupons as well.
