On 12/17, I got two H31353234313937***32H onlays from *** at H333737313939383133H Village H333835343236363939H H31363238383339H. My insurance, Delta H333835343236363939H of ***, paid $678 total ($339 per onlay), and I paid $810 total ($405 per onlay) out of pocket. When the numbing wore off, I had really bad sensitivity in the teeth she worked on, and it didn't get better. I also noticed a sharp point on one of the teeth. I went back on 1/27/22 and *** tried to fix the bite and the sharp point, but it turned out there was a hole in the onlay of tooth #. I went to another dentist for a second opinion. He saw that the hole was still there and noticed "open margins" on the onlays. He said the onlay of tooth #*** might need to be replaced in the next 6 months because of the bad margins. He filled the hole in the onlay and tried to adjust the bite to help with the sensitivity. In April 2022, the hole came back even bigger, and the severe sensitivity came back too. I went to yet another dentist who found a crack in tooth #*** and suggested a crown. My H31353234313937***32H insurance won't cover any of the crown because they only cover prosthodontics (like crowns, onlays, inlays, etc.) once every 60 months for the same tooth. Based on what three other dentists have said, I think *** didn't give good care, and that's why my tooth cracked. Delta H333835343236363939H told me to see if H333737313939383133H Village H333835343236363939H would cancel the initial claim from 12/17 so the crown could be covered. *** at H333737313939383133H Village H333835343236363939H said they wouldn't do that and couldn't do anything else to help. I asked if they could at least give me a refund for what I paid out of pocket, and she said she didn't know if they could do a refund and they would let me know. That was a week ago and I haven't heard anything. Meanwhile, I can't chew on the right side of my face, and I can't afford the crown procedure because it costs over $1,000.
