I hired Attorneys Tax Relief, LLC to help me fix my IRS and state back tax issues
I hired Attorneys Tax Relief, LLC to help me fix my IRS and state back tax issues. They resolved my IRS debt in 2018. However, they haven't settled with the state yet. It's 2022, and the state has placed a lien on me. I'm unable to get a response from Attorneys Tax Relief for assistance. All contact methods have failed, their website is down, and the numbers I have are obsolete. Despite paying them, my issue remains unresolved.
I needed help with my taxes and after doing some research, I found Attorneys Tax Relief, LLC to be the best option
I needed help with my taxes and after doing some research, I found Attorneys Tax Relief, LLC to be the best option. It's been almost a year and they have changed their phone number many times. I have paid them more than $1600, but I haven't received any assistance yet. They did send me some paperwork initially, but that was the end of it. I have tried reaching out to them multiple times, but I haven't been successful. I want to share my experience to prevent others from going through the same thing and, of course, to try to get my money back.

Highly recommended, but caution will not hurt.
I was promissed an offer and compromise would be achieved by attorneys tax relief
I was promissed an offer and compromise would be achieved by attorneys tax relief. After further review attorneys tax relief told me it was impossible. This is after paying them in full nearly $11K for their services and the settlement money needed for the *** Upon asking for the necessary refund on the unattainable settlement, they will not return a phone call or email. I have asked them to please keep whatever money they need for their time and services. As they did file paperwork, make phone calls, and take time out of their day. Still absolutely ZERO response and it has been roughly 10 months now.
Attorneys Tax Relief has been doing my taxes for a while now, but this year things got a bit confusing
Attorneys Tax Relief has been doing my taxes for a while now, but this year things got a bit confusing. They still managed to finish my taxes though, and just a few weeks ago, I got a letter in the mail from the IRS and the state of Nebraska. They said I owed back taxes and were gonna put a lien on my property. Attorney's Tax Relief used to be good, but now no one answers the phones or returns calls. I'm not sure what to do. I'm a disabled veteran and live alone, so this has caused me a lot of stress. Can you please advise me on what to do? Thanks, Troy.
I been payin Attorneys Tax Relief for over a year faithfully
I been payin Attorneys Tax Relief for over a year faithfully. I been callin them for the last 5 months tryin to get someone to help me. They ain't returned my call or emailed me back since the very first payment. I ain't got no updates or letters. THIS COULD BE A FAKE COMPANY. PLEASE INVESTIGATE. I been tryin to get documents emailed to me so I can proceed. I called the attorney and left lots of messages. I actually talked to someone after findin the right number and they told me to keep callin the attorney. THAT DID NOT WORK! I want all my money back or I just want a resolution. If this a fake company, they need to be sued cause I paid $1000s of dollars with no resolve.
This company is a fraud
This company is a fraud. Every year for the past 4 years, they've been asking me to send the same information about how much I owed to the ***. They promised to repair my credit once a year for four years. They sent me a paper asking me to sign a power of attorney so they could resolve the issue. I paid over $3,000, but nothing has been resolved. This has been happening since *** and 17. Whenever I ask to speak to the owner of the company, someone lies and says they'll send me a letter. They also ask me if I'm making more money this year or if I'm working this year, and what my hardship is. It's the same thing every year. I want my money back because this company is a complete sham. I expected them to either repair my credit or lower my ***, but nothing has changed after all these years.
I hired Attorneys Tax Relief in 2015 for a problem with my 2014 taxes
I hired Attorneys Tax Relief in 2015 for a problem with my 2014 taxes. They told me they would contact me when there was an agreement. A few weeks later, they reached out and asked for $15,800, which includes their fee and the taxes I owed. I sent the money right away and waited for a response. After a few months, I contacted them again and they said it was all taken care of, but it takes time to process. After a few more months, I asked if it was okay for me to get a part-time job to repay the money I had to borrow. They said it was no problem. However, in early 2018, they told me the deal wasn't happening and I was on my own. John *** sent me this message on 3/23: "Your entire tax debt for both the State of MN and the IRS, totaling $41,255 for years 2012 and 2014, is being paid by us." But now, on 5/21, they told me I'm on my own again without paying what they said they would. I still owe $17,000.
I reached out to this company in early 2021 to get some assistance in reducing my monthly bill from the IRS
I reached out to this company in early 2021 to get some assistance in reducing my monthly bill from the IRS. They assured me over the phone that they could help with that. After a few days, I paid them $2500 for their services and later received another call confirming that everything was sorted out. However, a month later, I got a letter from the IRS stating that my monthly bill remained the same. I immediately contacted Attorneys tax relief to understand what went wrong, but they responded in a cold manner, saying that the IRS wouldn't accept a lower amount. On the same day, someone else from their team emailed me, asking for a tax return so they could send it to the IRS. I promptly replied and sent the requested document. Another month went by, and I received yet another letter from the IRS inquiring about my monthly bill. I decided to call the IRS directly, and a woman informed me that they had only received one phone call from Attorneys tax relief. She mentioned that they needed a fax of one of my tax returns, but assured me that they would definitely lower my bill. Unfortunately, Attorney tax relief has been unresponsive to my calls and emails. They have taken my money without providing any assistance whatsoever.
In 2019, I reached out to Attorneys Tax Relief, LLC to help me with my tax debt
In 2019, I reached out to Attorneys Tax Relief, LLC to help me with my tax debt. I spoke to Julie Dee, who told me that I would need to pay a retainer of $3500. She explained that $500 would go to them, and the rest would be used to negotiate a settlement with the IRS. When it came time to make an offer to the IRS, they were only able to negotiate $437 out of the $6200 owed.
During this process, Julie became ill, and my case was handed over to another attorney. I continued to make monthly payments of $250, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, my case was passed on to two more attorneys who provided updates on my case. In November , the last person I spoke to informed me that the offer had been rejected, and the IRS stated that I could make payments instead.
I asked why they had made such a low offer when I was told that a significant portion of the money would go to the IRS. The attorney explained that in some cases, the IRS accepts lower amounts. I then asked if they could increase the offer since I had paid them to handle the situation, but it seemed like very little had been accomplished. The attorney responded by saying that at least they had made an effort.
Now, in the present day, Attorneys Tax Relief, LLC has received $3500 from me, but I still owe $6200 to the IRS.
I've paid and/or paying Attorneys Tax Relief to help with a tax issue
I've paid and/or paying Attorneys Tax Relief to help with a tax issue. They assured me they could minimize what was owed. I've been with them since December . I've paid out over 6,000 dollars and can count on one hand the amount of times they reach out to me regarding my case. Not only did they not minimize, they did not act in timely matter as a result I was charged even more by the IRS. All awhile being told I was almost at the end of my proposal, I stated that you all have been saying this for the last year. I reach out to them on 09/28 because I received and letter from a third party debt collector. After the conversation I had with the owner of Attorneys tax Relief on 09/29, I requested an refund, he stated that I would only receive a little over 500.00 dollars. I was furious! During the time I was informed initially that amount could be lowered as I was looking to have fees and penalties waived. Now I owe more because of the time it took them to negotiate. I paid them over 6000.00 to help me and I will be seeking legal action on this matter. I also will be calling the IRS as well. We deserve better then what we have received. I'm sure there is something that can be done, I will be seeking resolution to this matter. Maybe action 9 would be a start! I know that I with do my homework before I let this happened again!
In 2017, me and my wife paid this company 7k to settle a taxes debt because it was our first time owning a business and we didn't know how to
In 2017, me and my wife paid this company 7k to settle a taxes debt because it was our first time owning a business and we didn't know how to keep records properly. They said the 7k would be their fee for them and the *** We paid in monthly payments and sent them every document they asked for, paying them on time monthly. After the payments were done, we stopped hearing from them. Every time my wife reached out, they said it's a process. 3yrs passed and then they told us the person handling our case was no longer with the company. The new person didn't honor the previous deal. They gave us the option to pay the *** half or all. They said this is the only option we have. Initially, we didn't have 3 yrs worth of interest added to the debt. But now, because of 3yrs of nothing from this company, the half is the same as the original debt. And the new guy is trying to tell me that the 3yrs doesn't matter. I call BS because if we had the option to pay half in the beginning, it would have been 15k, not 36k. Today, I asked where the paperwork is, and he said, "well, you said y'all were going to appeal, so I left it at that and now it's too late to submit, but I'll do it anyway." I said, so just because we're thinking about appealing means you won't send us the paperwork anyway. Now we have an offer that is months old.
I contacted Buchmiller and Associates for a family law consultation in January 2022
I contacted Buchmiller and Associates for a family law consultation in January 2022. Afterward, I needed time to decide and gather funds. They followed up several times. By February 10, I paid $1000 and agreed to pay $500 more later. The assigned attorney seemed inexperienced, and when I requested a change, I received unprofessional texts. By February 16, I asked for a new lawyer or a refund as per our agreement. I was promised a refund by a supervisor. On February 22, I inquired about the refund and was directed to the Managing Attorney. After voicemail and email exchanges, we disagreed on my eligibility for a refund due to the attorney's actions. The attorney dismissed my concerns and claimed there was no one higher to discuss my case with. He even claimed to be the director. Our last call ended with him hanging up on me. I felt treated unfairly and just want my $1000 back since no substantial work was done on my case.
