Arctic Air Conditioning

Arctic Air Conditioning was cool and quick. The guys did good putting in a new water heater.

We got a new furnace and AC from Arctic Air in Aug 2020, but it's been nothing but problems since then. We've had to call them multiple times because our unit failed inspection with the township and our heat and AC never work right. The temp in our house is always off by like 10 degrees from what we set it to. Our heating bill last month was $344 for a small 1000 sq ft house because the heat is always running trying to keep us warm. Last week, we woke up to our house being 61 degrees when it was set to 70. I've had to take vacation days and pay overpriced electric bills because Arctic Air keeps coming out to fix the same issues. Finally, I talked to a manager named *** who sent someone else out 2 days ago. The tech found out that Arctic Air installed our duct wrong, blocking off 50% of the airflow. They never found this issue before. I had to argue with *** to get them to come out on a weekend to fix it because I can't take any more time off work. Arctic Air hasn't offered any compensation or anything, just a sorry for the inconvenience. I think I deserve some kind of compensation or money back for the 1.5 years of inconvenience and money this has caused me. Plus, I'm never comfortable in my own home because it's always too hot or too cold.

Arctic Air Conditioning did a diagnostic test on my upstairs furnace and went through everything with me. He was super professional and polite. I was really happy with his work.

Grate, safe, and proffesional service during this difficult time. Our A/C unit needed to be replaced. The salesman was friendly, but most importantly, thorough. He walked us through all of our different options and the benefits of them. It really helped us make the right decision. The technicians arrived on time and first made sure that no one in my house was sick. This was a relief to know they are protecting themselves as well. Throughout the process they wore masks and gloves. They kept a safe distance from us. When they finished, you would not know they were here. They left it cleaner than it was before. Looking forward to warmer weather and taking advantage of the new A/C. Thanks Arctic for making this process so seamless.

Artic Air came to my basement twice to check the heater and ductwork before finally installing my Central Air in December . But when we turned it on, it wasn't holding temperature and water was dripping all over my basement. I called for service and they said there was too much humidity in the basement and ductwork issues, but they didn't know what to do. I complained to *** Corporate and they said the District Manager would help me. The District Manager came out and showed me the issues, but said they could only do ductwork for $8800 and not fix the issues. They should have told me that in the beginning.

When the salesman came out for the second time, he forgot to look at the Electric Panel. After signing the paperwork in the basement, he said I had to upgrade the panel for $1500. The electrician came out and changed the panel, but didn't upgrade the amperage. The lights flicker when the unit comes on and when using portable air conditioners upstairs. Artic Air blamed it on PSEG, but when I called them, they said it was in the panel. When I contacted Artic Air, they said the township should have checked it, but there was no permit. They applied for a permit six months later.
