I saw something new on my AOL home page - a line ad. I went to customer service where I learned that a line ad could only be removed with an app "US ad free AOL mail" at a cost of $4.99 a month. I have been an AOL user since before there were modems. I find this to be a sneaky way to earn a few extra bucks. After all these years I am considering getting a new email service.
