I bought the car 2021 it’s a 2018 ford focus hatchback. I seen signs of transmission problems should have took it back then. Now it’s 2023 I’m having issues I’m getting the run around manager is not in the office all of a sudden but you didn’t have a problem taking 10,000 of my money. I call around and the problem isn’t able to be fixed or auto centers don’t deal with American car center because of scams. I just hate I wasted my hard earned money on a lemon car they knew was messed up and they still sold it to me. Very unprofessional will never be dealing with them again.

I have been calling for weeks and I been getting the run around. I have been promised I would get my money back and I still haven’t heard from them as of today and no other day. I went to my lawyer Friday so, hopefully he can get my money back to me since they can’t. Every time I call I’m getting the same stories about the manager not being in, he stepped out or he’s with someone. Then once I get him on the phone he tell me he emailed the proper people about my refund but they haven’t responded to it which I know is foolishness. I went saw my attorney Friday so, hopefully he can get my money back because this is stressful and frustrating. I didn’t go through all this given American Car Center my money and I shouldn’t have to go through this to get it back.

I went to them I said I wanted to bye a car. They pretended to sell me a car. After three years of paying on it I called for the pay off to only find out it was actually a lease. I then went to car Max who was willing to pay off the lease and the balloon payment to get the car off my hands. They refused to work with Car Max and forced me to keep paying on the lease. I was ripped off for over 26000.00$

I was sold a car that had a lot of issues and the key was taped up with wrapping tape. I took it to pepboys to check it out the next day from purchase and they told me that my thermostat and rotors was no good. Even the battery of the car was no good. Now the car won't start at all and I had to get it towed to pep boys to get it fix. I'm so disappointed and angry because the lady who sold me the car new of all this problem and didn't say nothing to me about it. I've been calling and speaking to Michael and Tiffany about the problems im having but no one cares to do nothing about it. This is un justice of them to do this to me as a customer. Even the lady who got me into the vehicle was fired, now they saying I have to pay out of pocket to fix the car when I've been having problems with it from day one. I only had this car for two months it's a shame that since day one when I told them that the car had problems and all they keeping saying it someone will get back to me and that been two months. I bought my vehicle at the end of 2019. Covid hit & then I became unemployed at the end of 2020 up until summer of 2021. Then I had back surgery middle of 2022 each of these times I requested a hardship

& apparently American Car Financial does not care what your situation is they just want your money or they'll turn the car off. How does that help the customers if you turn the car off how are they going to go to an interview when you're on unemployment in your short on your car payment. How is it that you don't supply monthly statements or receipts of payment? If you're open on the weekends why doesn't somebody answer the phone if you trying to make a payment on a Sat & then your clothes on Sun but then there's a $15 late fee because customer service doesn't bother the answer the phone. There have been times where I've explained that I'm unable to log in to the website to make payments but they never seem to want to fix the problem.

I have had my car almost 3 years every year there is a month that has 3 times they will get paid. Which if I owe 500 a month for my note how can you charge a extra 250 and it not go too the next month as a payment. Then they are rude all the time. I want to file a hardship because I just had covid and couldn't work to make payment. I can't get a hold of anyone and I have filed better business bureau complaints and they don't do anything either is as customer are gonna have to pull together and take this company to court because the only way we are gonna be heard is if the law gets involved. Once they start loosing money they will begin to get in shape and clean they nasty house of unprofessional and rude [censored] employees. It's gonna take us to stop this because we are on our own

I purchased this car in March of 2021.never missed but 1 payment .but had a due date change was charged for it.they never changed my due .I had 🔢 of phone calls about the issue they kept telling me that it would be fixed...months later the car stopped running full coverage insurance and warranty were up to date at time .I had the car towed to where they wanted it out of pocket.mechanic where I took it said that he couldn't fix it due to computer failure he sent it dodge chysler dealer who sated same thing.now the car company is wanting me to pay $2000 to get in another car saying that I owe so much in late fees,damage waiver fees and 4 or5 payments behind but I got information two months after the car stopped working after I've been out of work due to vehicle not being fixed or me being provided 1

I signed my paperwork and contract for a 2016 Nissan, everything was ok the day off. The next day the check engine light came on AND NEVER TURNED OFF. I wasn’t able to EVER get a tag because the car WOULD NOT pass emissions. The car was sold to me WITHOUT passing emissions, I called CONSTANTLY to get this fixed NOTHING happened. THEN to no surprise, the transmission goes out! I was harassed CONSTANTLY about my “payments” I was NOT able to trade my car in. American car center was HORRIBLE. I was left with NO SOLUTION, paying for a car that I couldn’t even drive. DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE from this company. They are a bunch of leeches.

When I bought this CAR I made it RELEVANT to the person the hood would NOT GO DOWN! So many damn scratches on the car, and the mirror barely stays up, damn electrical problems with letting the windows up and down in the back from the front. I MADE THIS KNOWN! Muhammad in the DOTHAN ALABAMA Location said he was going to make sure the stuff was fixed! I took it to firestone to say my spark plus and coils needed replacing, and I had a death in my family, and they said it was pass the 30- days it would be MY ISSUE ! Then on top of it because they couldn't get my tag in time, and lost my paper work and waited forever to get everything turned in MY LICENSE WAS SUSPENDED AND WAS TOLD I'd Get a 100.00 for the inconvenience and Been waiting now a month with no call or nothing, and when I call "He isn't in." So, The car THAT WASN'T checked out sold to me for 20,000 PLUS ALL THE EXTRA 27,000 and some change altogether WASN'T even examined or fixed AS PROMISE! ALL THEY DID WAS LIE! LIE LIE LIE LIE LIE! I had to make a special trip to sign some "paper work" in the beginning and he told me well I have a better Hyundai out here if yall like it we can switch and guess what? That was A FRIGGAN LIE! He did that because he forgot to make me sign paper work! That's over a hour DRIVE! I have fought with the insurance company and everything to have my car that was promised to be fixed still isn't fixed and get a RUDE [censored] worker on the phone and told me I needed to drive almost 2 1/2 hours somewhere else to "SEE" if they could do it but they wouldn't because it was over 30 days. This place is a joke, and I was treated like CRAP after I purchased the vehicle, but damn sure lie to you about anything to get what they want. The reason the coils and spark plugs needed replacing was because It stalled out a week after we got it! and I reported it, and then The hood doesn't go all the way down, damn mirror falls off, electrical issues, and much more, and you think they've reached out to me to make sure everything was okay? NO! They got what they wanted out of me, and didn't EVEN tell me I WAS LEASING THE CAR! I am so glad I recorded all of my calls, and when I went to met them. I found me a lawyer. There's no reason to be treated and took advantage of and them not even say what they going to do in the first place! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE YOU WILL REGRET IT!

I have been calling to make a car payment and because I filed bankruptcy I am always told I need to be transferred to Bk department however they are never available so the customer service rep says she will have someone call me back. I have made some car payments but I am 9 payments behind and they have repossessed my car so yesterday I called and asked to pay what is due and she said she is unable to give my car back even if I paid the money owed for passed payments. I spoke with Natika Williams and she was very adamant about that being it. She sated I could not speak to a supervisor and if I wanted to express the fact that I called I need to provide my phone bill showing I called. I want to pay what is owed for pass payments and move forward. The communication is horrible here I call and I get no where I called yesterday and didn’t speak to anyone for 2/12 hours I was continuously rotated back to the main line.

I signed the contracts on my vehicle 08/05/2022 // Went to the County Tag Office on Friday 09/23/22 and was advised that I could not receive a tag because the vehicle failed emissions on 07/22/2022.

Clayton County, Georgia - requires emissions on vehicles, inorder to receive a current county tag to operate the vehicle. Because the vehicle failed emissions prior to my purchase / lease date - the vehicle should not have been on the front line with other vehicles waiting to be purchased.

I have received the run around from warranty/service dept., the dealership on Hwy. 85 in Riverdale, GA, Clayton County (purchase location), and Payment/Financial Dept.

Due to the fact that FRAUD has taken place, I should be able to receive another vehicle in exchange. No one, and I mean no one is attempting to assist. All are trying to push me off on someone else.

Test drove the car, placed insurance on it, according to the salesman just a couple more things to do. Drove the car to the few errands that I had that day. No problem right? Upon time to pick up my car, I came in my alter ego, FYI I am transgendered, never hid it at any point during the deal. Once the salesman noticed me, his attitude immediately changed and he began to talk to me in a rude manner, when I asked him what was the problem, he responded that he was not selling me a car cause my paperwork fell through, which I knew was a, lie. After threatening him, he finally gave me my down payment back and acted as if I was less than human. After leaving, I received numerous calls from the corporate office in Memphis and from another gentleman in Jackson that asked me to come to his dealership ASAP. I refused because I was too angry and hurt to even speak any further.

Hi I paid off my car in June 2022 with American Car Center. It states in my contract should receive title in 4-6 weeks its been over 10 weeks and no title. I contacted the BBB and made a complaint. Their legal department contacted me and advised me that they have received my complaint and she would contact me to get my title rushed to me and that was over a month ago. I call everyday and I get the same excuse that they are behind. my tag renewal is coming up and I need my title and paperwork to show that I already paid my taxes on my car and I now own the car as this car was a lease through them. The location that I brought my car from has closed down and other locations near me have also closed down. Corporate is in Tennessee and they will not forward my title to me! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY ARE NOT HONEST AND YOU PAY THEM 4 TIMES WHAT THE CAR IS WORTH AND THEN YOU CANT TALK TO ANYONE AND CAN'T GET YOUR TITLE!

I have a 2014 ford escape and i cant even trade it. I found out the car is only worth 7k at most. I asked for a payoff and its over 31k. this company is predatory.

The car's check engine light has came on in February and i just got the car in December. They have been nothing but problems. The practice is very abusive and deceptive to people who are desperately needing a car to get back and forth to work.

Dont do business with this company. Its a scam company

I went to my neighborhood dealership and they didn’t have the car I wanted so I drove 30 mins away to the second dealership in Antioch Tennessee, I was test drove the car I wanted and it ran fine. The associate told me she would have someone to clean up the car for me and I said ok. The car had to be drove back to the dealership that I wanted to buy it from the associate who originally helped me. By the time I bought the car it was still dirty on the inside, pet hair everywhere, bugs on the back seat and the gas hand was 1 notch from being on E. If I paying 516 dollars a month for a car that is being leased it should be the cleanest it could be. Nobody cleaned the car, on top of the car being dirty it has rust on the inside of the 2 front wheel plates. So I’m having to detail my car myself because nobody cleaned the car. And I also asked if I had a grace period to return the car and they told me, if I returned the vehicle to the it will count as a repo on my credit. So at this point idk what to do. I’m trying to reach out the company because this is unacceptable.

I telephone Brian Cox at American Car Center about my absence from work due to COVID-19 diagnosed. I explained to him if I could have that July 15th payment place in the back of my loan and he agreed as long as I made that July 30th payment. Well, ACC has been harassing me every day since with text messages and even telephone calls. Brian Cox will not come to the telephone to help clear up the confusion. I am asking that they stop harassing me.

I got the back in 2018 of December never missed a payment always payed on time for 43months and tried to trade it in several times but that's when I ended up knowing that I was leasing the car for so long but I owed too much on the car which was too much on a car with 76,000 miles on it back then so I just kept the paying the car off till July 29th 2022 was my final payment when I payed the car and I call them for information to get my title and now have to pay damn near 2,032.00 just to actually own the car and they give you 30days and they even threatened me of taking the car even thought a paid the full car off this dealership needs to be shutdown for fraud and scam and I want to sue them for misrepresentation

Hello, me and my mom brought a car from this place last year in march. The transmission was slipping a couple of month after getting the car. We been running into problems since we first got the car the sales people didn’t explain everything in the contract they was rushing for us to sign everything so as soon as we took over the first payments we didn’t know anything about damage waiver fees or anything I should of known American Car Center was a red flag then. It’s now august Ive been without a car basically since April of this year because my engine started smoking in my car the first time I informed american car center it wasn’t any help in the sistuation all they did is tell me to take it to pep boys and they was check everything come to find out that pep boys nor american car center contact each other so I had to come out of pocket for the car to come out of the shop knowing that i’m under warranty still. I thought pep boys fixed my car after receiving my car after paying to get it fixed the VERY next day the engine was smoking again they fixed the wrong thing so I made them come back and pick up the car to check they gave me another diagnostic and try to get me to pay again so I pick my car back up once again they didn’t contact american car center. So I took a month to find an another mechanic he did a full diagnostic on my car and we found out all the issues so I once again called american car center to see would warranty let my mechanic that I found fix it since pep boys didn’t do the work correctly instead they made me send my car back around the middle of june and pep boys had my car just sitting in there lot the whole month of july with no diagnosic or updates on the issue with my car i push the issue called american car center service department and let them know what’s been going on and push the issue because I’ve been without a car so pep boys finally got around to fix it but they found out the head gasket been blown. I’ve been going through a terrible phase with american car center they won’t give us a rental or a loner car knowing the issues with me being without a car I literally call everyday to get a update on what’s going on and I get the run around the customer service team is very rude and very not understanding they are VERY disrespectful been in customer service for years i’ll never disrespect an customer i’ll atleast fix the issues so here I am with no car and I rode passed pep boys the car still sitting there and mind you that i am still paying car note still after being without a working car I would love to get a car until my car is fixed. I don’t recommend this car lot and will never get a car from this place EVER again
