I initially booked a flight for Sept. 2, 2026 (#3314) from SMF to DFW, on March 25, 2026. AA changed this booking on June 2, 2026, to Flight #1544. This made it impossible for me to make my second flight from DFW to BWI (#2314).
The email AA sent me regarding this change did NOT mention that this change automatically cancelled my booking on Flight #2314. It also did NOT mention that I needed to reschedule a flight from DFW to BWI for Sept. 2, 2026.
As a result, I spent hours online trying to figure out what to do.
Also, as a result, I had to pay an additional $500 for a flight from DFW to BWI, for Sept. 2.
I tried & tried to get a Live Agent on AA.com without success.
AA's Customer Service appears non-existent!
I will NEVER use AA again!

Claimed loss: $500

Desired outcome: Reimbursement of $500 from AA.
