AltaMed Health Services letting me starve to death

So much. Deined kidney specialist for months Born with fusion kidney. Had to go to hospital over , BTW all the Ers I went to our terrible at notes keeping track of meds, and erroneous and incomplete discharge papers. Had negative reaction to unknown meds. Had adverse reaction to all food i alway are. Many typical allergy typr reactions. Lost 40 lbs in 7 weeks.Can't eat losing a pound a day. No referrals and then slow referrals. No real help in site. No actual referral to specialist. Still allergist theoretical. No actual date. 10 days after release from. Hospital and huge turn for the worse. Ers won't help. Won't even address my continued starvation.Claim they don't do that on Ers. Help with starving. There is no help. Even if it is Gi issue the endoscopy generally takes 6 weeks by then I'll be closing in on the 3 months of starvation resulting on death.The staff is rude and cruel and is moving like snails going backwards Might be the end of line for me

Cassey social worker have treated me terribly despite my very dire situation. No help it coming. No dr specialists are coming any time soon. Maggie cross country work force solution has done what she can for months on end to delay my I'm home care. I.e no phone number exists mon working number the person to be my In home care won't call back. All totally untrue. Always a new excuse. They are literally killing me

AltaMed Health Services Getting blood drawn.

I went to get blood work done, the phlebotomist used a wrong size needle, she couldn’t find my vein on my right arm, so she kept inserting the needle in different areas on that arm, which caused two bruises. She decided to use my left arm, once the needle was in she didn’t remove the torniquete so blood wasn’t coming out, she was moving the needle while inside of my arm to try to make blood come out. Until minutes later she removed the torniquete and that’s when blood started coming out. My left arm is also bruised.

Desired outcome: Make sure the phlebotomists know how to do their job.

AltaMed Health Services HMO clinic on 3rd/Alvarado, Doctor Gll's office

I'm writing to complain about Altamed. On 09/25/20 I saw my doctor and had lab work done. 18 months later I receive a collection notice due to an unpaid bill from Quest Diagnostics in the mail. As I am an HMO patient, all labs done in the clinic should be paid my the HMO. I can't tell you how many times I have called to try to resolve this, but it was least 20 times between Altamed, Quest Diagnostics, and back and forth again. Each one denying responsibility. Emblem Blue Cross sent the clinic a letter stating ALTAMED was responsible. The staff there kept passing the buck and no one could make a decision on what to do. Finally I was told the situation would go to review. 4 months later, I see this on my credit report. Later to find out that it was NEVER sent to be reviewed! t's now been 2 1/2 years and this still is not resolved. If there are an attorney out there that could help me sue this clinic I would really appreciate it.

Desired outcome: Pay the Efing bill at Quest Diagnostics and remove the charge from my credit report. I would love a detail analysis of what happened. Come on! It's am HMO who ordered the test! Why can't they pay this?!!

AltaMed Health Services Nurse and HIPPA rights violated

I came in for a pregnancy test and I mentioned I knew the results. I thought I still needed to wait in the lobby so I did. The nurse came out and told me I didn’t but that the test is positive. In front of my parents. First, she can not be telling anyone my results as I have my HIPPA rights. Yes, I didn’t want my parents to know because I decided to terminate the pregnancy. I’m not a minor so I don’t know why she felt the need to tell the whole world. She should keep her mouth shut

Desired outcome: She should be warned and she’s lucky I won’t sue her [censored].

AltaMed Health Services Such stupid and bad service everytime I try to contact

The hell with this idk how or why I ended up being enrolled for this medical center service. Everytime I call can't get anyone to answer the phone, hrs of wait before I can actually hear and speak to someone. Secondly, when finally getting through to someone I can never make same day appointment I have to wait weeks if not months for a face to face in person appointment. Finally the day of my appointment like today Im almost leaving my house when I get the call that I have to cancel because their system says I've been exposed to covid and me knowing that I have been home since the day I got my appointment only gone to neurologist appointment and took all precautions. I ask how can the system say that she don't have answer but tells me next month available for next appointment [censored] this n the wait I'm changing my whole service I'm done mad as hell and don't need to be put through this crap.

Desired outcome: Change my service and know how the system can say I have been exposed.

I am going thru same thing, cant ever talk to anyone,endless string of recordings and hangups. Same day appointment? lucky if same year. So hard to get appt but they are so quick to cancel.I have no idea if I can keep appt six months away.ENGLISH IS RARELY SPOKEN. Non existant customer service

AltaMed Health Services Foot doctor Jaminelli Banks DPM

Hi. I AM a mother of Daniel Kang. All my children have been a member of Altamed since 2016. I was pretty satisfied until I met a foot clinic and the doctor Jaminelli Banks DPM. Today I want to write what has happened with her. ALSO I want to request to have a new referal to have a at least good doctor.

I used to go to Chines foot doctor in down town. When he has a trouble with his ingrown toe nails. it was simple and easy and quick procedure.

One day when we needed a service, we called altamed ro get connected. At that time I didnt need another referral because the procedure within 6 months doesnt need a new referal.

However altamed gave us an appointment 2-3months from the date I called. Even though my son was suffering we had to wait.

At that time I was informed to get transferred to go to diffrent clinic because they just opened a new foot doctor.

Then our deep suffering got started. Couple hours waiting is basic. No one knows we are waitibg in the waiting area. A lot of appointments at the same time was very common. The dictors and nurse said because of shortage of doctors and nurses.

Even though we entered to the room, we had to wait... for a long time. And when we met doctor finally, she said she wont give a procedure because it was an initial meeting. omg. Then they gave me another appointments a month later.

A month later when we went there, their treatment was very unusual. Compared to previous treatment, it took more times and hurt more and got treated a way longer.

Few month after when we went another apportionment for the other side of foot, they said it it a follow check up.

Then another months later... again again.

It seems like she doesnt have experiences. My son is screaming everytime we are here. He keeps saying hurt and hurt.

We need to talk.
The system also have a problems.
A lot of patients gave up waiting and they were leaving the clinics.
Please contact me asap.
And give us a new referal too.

We cant stand this clinic.

AltaMed Health Services Demora en atencion cita niño

Hoy mi hijo tuvo cita en altamed de Garden Grove, la cita era a las 3.20pm, llegamos a las 3pm, se registro a las 3.20pm nos dieron un formulario y nos dijeron que esperaramos. A las 3.40pm vi aa la doctora Gallardo en la sala de espera salio a una carpa afuera y regreso, me acerque a recepcion a preguntar cuanto mas debiamos esperar, no me preguntaron ni el nombre del niño le dije que era con la dra gallardo y solo me contestaron que ella estaba muy atrasada con sus citas. Me sente, 1 hora despues volvi a preguntar me dijeron que era el que seguia, no fue asi. Yo soy la mamá, entre a mi cita, tambien me hicieron esperar, atendieron a otros pacientes antes de mi, cuando sali de mi cita fua a cita de rayos x y sali, mi hijo aun seguia esperando para entrar a su cita, el se quedo esperando con mi mamá. Ya habian pasado 3 horas de su cita, pedi poner una queja o el numero para hacerla, en recepcion me dijeron que no hay un numero para quejas, que le dirian a la supervisora, y cuando regreso la de recepcion me dino que le diera mi numero de telefono, por que la supervisora ya tenia que irse y que mañana me llamaria. No habia nadie mas con quien hablar. No es posible que mi hijo recien viera a la doctora 3 horas despues de la hora de cita, tenia hambre, estaba cansado y teniamos cita hecha con mas de 1 mes de anticipacion y no nos brindaron ninguna explicacion de por que no lo atendieron. Pueden tener buenos doctores y algunas buenas enfermeras pero el servicio es pesimo. Y la supervisora ni siquiera se digno a salir a dar una explicacion, ella se tenia que ir aunque me hijo tenia 3 horas esperando teniendo cita.

AltaMed Health Services Census 2020

I completed my census online but, I am getting text messages from Altamed volunteers asking to 'help me complete the census' when it's already been done online. Altamed does not properly identify themselves as working on behalf of the Census 2020. They are picking up phone numbers from voter registration. So, how would I know that they are not spam?

AltaMed Health Services Call center. Staff

Hello altamed corporate complaint department. My grandparents had been a patient for altamed for 10 year or longer maybe 18 years. I personally have been observing and analyst the system. Please observe and evaluate your staff. I personally noticed plenty of mistakes a. Looks like you can open a case with altamed. Lack of communication. Lack of experience. Lack of knowledge.

AltaMed Health Services telephone service representatives notes

I am a caregiver for my father who is deaf and unable to communicate via phone. I have submitted paperwork for power of attorney and appointment of representative forms to AltaMed three times total - 2 by fax, 1 by mail. Every single time I call the representative tells me they cannot see these documents therefore cannot give me any information or answer my questions. I am very very disappointed in AltaMed's lack of organization, kindness, and respect for their patients and caregivers time and efforts. I have just called AltaMed to get information on one of my father's authorizations and the phone service representative tells me she "does not see documentation for an appointment of representative or power of attorney in the notes" and that she "cannot open the file or disclose any information" to me. I have submitted these documents three times. The effort of having to find a fax machine, or a mail box, or even have my father sign the form again, is unnecessarily burdensome on an already burdened patient and family. Caregiving is an extremely sensitive duty that requires time, patience, kindness, and forgiveness. AltaMed I am in disgust of the lack of respect you have for my time - you have ran my patience and I am remaining kind but not forgiving for your behavior and lack of organization and communication within your company.

I ask that you please find the appointment of representative documents I faxed you all. One of them was faxed on 10/25/19 at 11:27 AM.

AltaMed Health Services wait time

I arrived early for my appointment and was told that I would be seen soon. Waited 2 hours to be seen this is freaking ridiculous! I'm so upset and all they could say is your next! I'm very disappointed and will be switching from this location. Wait time is not good why the heck do you say arrive before and you don't freaking see us. Please advise me and give me a valid reason why dis I have to wait 2 hours going on 2 hrs and 15 minutes and no doctor in sight?

AltaMed Health Services wait times & lack of available appointments

The wait time to be seen at this clinic even with an appointment is ridiculous! You always have to wait at least an hour for your appointment (after your arrival and you're registered) I feel like sometimes they don't actually register you in and they just have you waiting in a queue until there's rooms available... I also feel like the drs don't manage their time wisely here because they have too many patients and not enough rooms... the waiting room gets packed and they still don't rush or even attempt to make you feel better ... the walk ins shouldn't have priorities over the appointment... there's people with health issues that are serious and they have is waiting! Also; there's people with kids and they get very fussy after an hour of waiting there's no compassion! Please take these complaints seriously! The wait time is ridiculous! Why do they require appointments to see the dr if we're not seen at our appointment times? There's no point in making us arrive 15 minutes before and we still have such a long wait.

AltaMed Health Services service

I had lab work schedule to be done- where at Altmed nurse help me make the appointment at quest in 6 week after I started a new medication. This isn't the first time I went to quest for blood work- but when I went there they didn't have my order in the computer- so they ask me to call Altmed to fax over the orders. I did- waited on the phone for 35 minutes for them to do that- said they did- I waited 5-10 minutes then had to call them back to requests it again cuz no one sent anything- that took another 25 minutes on the phone- I told them I wait until the papers come before I hang up- so they finally fax the paper over- and they faxed the wrong papers- so I als then to do so again- they sent the wrong papers 3 times- but then I've been at quest for over and hours - and they still didn't have the lab order for me- i schedule the appointment in the morning giving me 45 minutes extra to drive back to work- but I end up not getting the lab work done at all and was 25 minutes late to work cuz Altmed didn't fax my paper to quest- and they didn't put in the order of the request at all. Cuz they keep faxing my doctor report- which don't show the lab work order-

Whenever I am viewing MSN.com, an Alta-med ad keeps covering up my screen with a big white page and a small ad on it. It is bad enough that there is no way to click it off but the ad is in Spanish - and I don't know Spanish. I have Spanish relatives, but I'm not Hispanic. I have to turn off the program completely to get rid of it. When you go on their website, their is no way to file a complaint unless you are a member - something I would never become just because of this.

AltaMed Health Services staff/appearance/dirty

staff here are un professional and rude
even the management is rude to you I complained about my visit and the clinic coordinator was rude to me didn't care about my concerns I found it unsanitary for the nurse to give me a shot without washing her hands and not wearing gloves and for the doctor to no wash his hands when he entered and left my room nasty will not come here for sanitary purposes the restrooms are filthy my visit was on 12/18/2018

AltaMed Health Services Health care

for two years I have suffered--from a disastrous slip & fall that reined my life. hey went on a binge of losing all of my records and have missing pages (allegedly) in their computer. I go their and everyone looks at you like you are a drug addict looking for your next fix. They send you for little or no test but use their powers of ESP to know all. The treatment is horrible. My shoulder needs surgery. My neck possible my back I have a deformed kidney and four smashed (i mean smashed) teeth. hey they take YEARS to send you for t and blame YOU for your suffering-- Had to beg for a back brace & a wheelchair--horrible, nightmare of endless suffering

dr Mathews and some dr name Bazzi or Brizbi she s a tall spchotic lady that act like she she hates christiians gets in my face and discriminates on mi and wont give me antibiotics when im sick

AltaMed Health Services They are rude and incompetent

I used AltaMed Member Services for some time. It didn’t help me so asked for compensation. They told me to wait another 30 days. I can’t wait a day more! I have massive pain. They don’t understand what I am saying! They are rude and incompetent too!
