Order ID: 8126115158580030 cost us NZ$99.56. The product was defective and returned for refund. It cost us NZ$57.87 to return the defective product using the least expensive tracked service.

We were refunded the NZ$99.56 but not the return shipping charge. The seller knew that the product was defective and did not receive any penalty for their immoral actions. The seller can continue to knowingly ship defective products without any worry about it costing them.

I think that AliExpress is a great service but this feature is detracts from AliExpress reputation. I have provided proof below of the cost to return the defective product. I think the seller should have to pay for return costs of defective products if the buyer can prove that the product was defective and that the seller knew or should have known that the product was defective.

I hope to receive a personal acknowlegement of the problem and a description of what AliExpress can do to solve this problem.

    We are stuck with a similar situation with AliExpress. The seller has described the product as being metal and on receipt, it’s cheap plastic. We bought this from Spain and When we asked for a refund, we were told to return the goods to China.
    It feels like a scam as we never ordered from China and to post the wrongly described faulty goods to China is costing us twice as much as we paid for it.
    We paid £139 for the goods with shipping and to send these back to China is costing us £250. We are now speaking to AliExpress as 1) we did not order from China and specifically chose Spain as it’s closer to the U.K. and quicker. 2) the clocks are described by the seller as metal, but instead are plastic.
