Order ID: 8126115158580030 cost us NZ$99.56. The product was defective and returned for refund. It cost us NZ$57.87 to return the defective product using the least expensive tracked service.
We were refunded the NZ$99.56 but not the return shipping charge. The seller knew that the product was defective and did not receive any penalty for their immoral actions. The seller can continue to knowingly ship defective products without any worry about it costing them.
I think that AliExpress is a great service but this feature is detracts from AliExpress reputation. I have provided proof below of the cost to return the defective product. I think the seller should have to pay for return costs of defective products if the buyer can prove that the product was defective and that the seller knew or should have known that the product was defective.
I hope to receive a personal acknowlegement of the problem and a description of what AliExpress can do to solve this problem.
