Alexa Disappointing Results: My Experience with Alexa.com for Website Information

I recently tried out Alexa.com to get some information about my website and I have to say, I was pretty disappointed with the results. I mean, why would you want to pay good money for information that's not even accurate? When I checked how many sites were linking to my domain, Alexa told me there were only 27, but when I checked with Google, it said there were 101! And when it came to daily pageviews per visitor, Alexa said it was only 1, but Google said it was 2.3. That's a pretty big difference if you ask me.

But that's not all. Alexa also told me that Pinterest and Instagram were linking to my site, but when I checked with Google, it said they weren't. I don't even use those platforms, so why would they be linking to my site? It just doesn't make sense.

I have to wonder where Alexa gets its information from. Do they just make it up? For a global SEO company, you'd think they would be able to do better. I mean, if you're going to charge people for information, it should at least be accurate, right?

Overall, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with Alexa.com. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for accurate information about their website. Stick with Google or other reputable sources instead.

Alexa Maximize Your Website's Potential with Alexa's Powerful Tools

Alexa is a great tool for website owners who want to know how their website is performing compared to others. It's easy to use and provides a lot of useful information. The site rankings are updated daily, so you can see how your website is doing in real-time.

Another great feature of Alexa is the ability to see the top keywords that are driving traffic to your website. This can be very helpful in optimizing your website for search engines. You can also see the top referring websites, which can help you identify potential link building opportunities.

One thing to keep in mind is that Alexa's data is based on users who have their toolbar installed. This means that the data may not be completely accurate, especially for websites with a smaller audience. However, it's still a great tool for getting a general idea of how your website is performing.

Overall, I highly recommend Alexa for anyone who wants to improve their website's performance. The free tools are great, and the advanced features are definitely worth checking out if you're serious about optimizing your website.

Alexa Alexa's Inaccuracy and Bias: A Disappointing Shift from Helpful Tool to Money-Making Scheme

Alexa used to be a really helpful tool for webmasters, but now it seems like they only give accurate information to people who pay them. It's kind of a bummer because my website has been getting more and more traffic every week for the past 4 months, but my Alexa rank has actually gone down. It used to be 95k, but now it's in the 130ks and it's been stuck there for a while. I don't know if Alexa was just really bad at measuring things before, or if they're punishing me for not paying them.

It's really disappointing to see what Alexa has turned into. I remember when it was the go-to place for site metrics. Now it seems like they're just trying to make money off of people instead of actually helping them. I wish they would go back to the way things used to be.

Alexa Alexa Review: A Reliable Starting Point for Website Research, But Not Perfect

This website, Alexa, is one of the top dogs when it comes to gathering statistics about websites. The best part is that you don't have to install any code on your site to use it. I usually start my research about my own site or my competitors' sites with Alexa, but I always keep in mind that the data might not be 100% accurate.

I've taken a closer look at how they gather their data and it's not as precise as you might expect. They have to make some compromises on the quality of the data and the sample size because they can't know everything.

It's reassuring to know that Alexa is backed by Amazon, which means the quality of the data might be good. However, it's also a bit scary to think about how much data Amazon is gathering about the entire Internet.

Overall, I would recommend using Alexa as a starting point for your website research, but keep in mind that the data might not be perfect. It's always a good idea to double-check with other sources to get a more complete picture.

Alexa Disappointing Experience with Amazon Product and Customer Support

This product is pretty good, it can be useful, but there are other options out there that are just as good. I don't think I can recommend it though, because it feels like a big scam from a big corporation.

I tried the 1-week trial, but I cancelled it on the second day. I was surprised to see that I had been charged anyway! When I contacted customer support, a lady named Debbie responded. She was ridiculous and lied to me about a second trial. Then she closed the issue because it was "older than two weeks". What kind of customer support is that?

I don't understand why Amazon, such a great company, would try to scam me out of $170 and hire someone like Debbie to handle customer support. It's just not right. Amazon needs to think about this and make some changes.

Alexa Maximizing Business Efficiency with Alexa.com: A Review

Alexa.com is a great website tracker that provides a lot of useful information. You can use this link: http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo to find out who visits a site, which site directed users there, the rank of the site in the world and US, the keywords used, the percentage found by search engine (targeted) vs linked-in traffic via similar info sites, the time spent on the site by individual, and the pages viewed per person.

In addition to these features, Alexa.com also offers additional services for businesses. These tools are like "Business Intelligence" and are just as important as good accounting, financial analysis, and database management software. If you don't use "Project," or something like it, your business will be at a competitive disadvantage. It's the only way to maximize "labor unit" efficiency. Life was better before the computer, in my humble opinion - way easier life, but we must adapt or die.

If you don't like website info, for example, if it doesn't feel right, you may be right. Go with your gut and learn more about the owners' core beliefs. Alexa.com is a great resource for anyone who wants to stay informed about website traffic and other important business information.

Alexa Alexa: A Scam Search Engine Ranking Tool?

I was on the hunt for a list of search engines and stumbled upon Alexa. They claimed to have "The top 500 sites on the web" and I thought it would be a good resource since they used to rank search engines before Amazon took over. As I went through the listings on Alexa and checked each search engine, I found that at least half of the listed search engines were no longer in operation, or were companies selling products. Others were now malicious sites that have taken over many of the domain names. I had to be really careful to not infect my computer while checking the urls. The top sites are still in existence but what are their true ranks?

I tried to contact Alexa support to ask about their data, but it turns out you can't do that unless you sign up for a trial membership. And let me tell you, that membership starts at a whopping $149 a month. Certified Alexa Rank starts at $19.99 for 10 million page views per month. What are they certifying? What are people really getting for that amount? The information is outdated. How can site owners be given rankings if Alexa doesn't even know what it is ranking?

Honestly, I think Alexa is a scam. I would advise website owners to think twice before signing up for Alexa.

Alexa Review: Alexa.com and Quantcast.com for Comprehensive Research and Competitor Analysis

Hey there,

I'm excited to share my thoughts on Alexa.com, a website that offers research, competitor analysis, and statistics. We all use search engines daily, and Alexa.com is one of the places where data is collected. Another similar site is Quantcast.com, and I recommend using both for comprehensive research.

Personally, I prefer the layout of Alexa.com, but Quantcast.com has a cleaner feel. As someone with a background in graphic design, I appreciate a well-designed website. However, I want to mention Google's DoubleClick, which provides ad management and ad serving solutions to companies that buy, create, or sell online advertising. It's relevant and extremely useful, even though it's by Google, so be cautious.

Facebook is a syndicated network that's based on where you are, if you're alive, who your friends are, and what your interests are. It's fascinating how our bodies are designed with the flaw of wanting to be crackheads, and manipulating that flaw is partly how Facebook has 500 million users. But I digress.

Adding DoubleClick to your research list is a good idea. Their products help customers execute their digital media strategy more effectively. Google's Insight is another tool of importance, but I won't go into detail in this review.

Having these sites at our disposal for free gives us the power to monitor, improve with site audits (which you pay for), precise research, counterintelligence, and much more. Tracking your competition is crucial, especially for young and upcoming sites. The point of this review is that research needs to have an articulate body that helps you reach a conclusion and point of direction. I think the tools I've mentioned do that and are primary.

Thanks for reading!

Rains

Alexa Alexa Saved My Life: A Review of the Echo Device's Life-Saving Capabilities

I gotta say, Alexa is a lifesaver! Literally. I had a little accident at home and I couldn't get up. My daughter lives far away, like 4 and a half hours away, and I didn't know what to do. I was stuck on the floor, not able to move because of my leg issues. I tried calling for help, but no one answered. I was getting desperate. That's when I remembered my Echo device with Alexa. I yelled "Alexa, announce" and waited for it to respond. When it did, I yelled "Heather, I fell and I need help. I can't get up and get my phone". I waited for a response, but nothing happened. So I tried again, and this time my daughter responded. She had linked her phone to the device and got a notification about my announcement. She asked if I needed her to call 911, and I said yes. She also called my husband, but he didn't answer because his phone was dead. Luckily, the Chief of Police went to my husband and told him what was going on. He was able to charge his phone and get a call from Saratoga County EMS. They sent an ambulance, and I was saved. I don't know how long I would have been on the floor if it wasn't for Alexa. I'm so grateful for this device and for my daughter's quick thinking. Thank you, Alexa!

Alexa Alexa.com Review: Changes in Version 3 Limit Free Features and Clutter the Site

Alexa.com is a website analytics utility that has been around for quite some time. As a casual user, I have been using it for about five years now, and I have seen it go through several versions. The latest version, version 3, seems to have less information than the previous version, version 2, which was available just two months ago.

It seems like they revamp their website every so often, and this time around, they have made some changes that are not very helpful for users like me. For instance, version 2 provided me with a 12-month history of website rankings, which was very useful. However, version 3 has removed this feature, and now, the 12-month history is only available for paid accounts. The free viewing is now limited to a 90-day history, which is not very helpful.

Another feature that was available in version 2 was a latency ping number that would confirm if a site was slow or not. This feature is not available in version 3, which is a shame.

It would be interesting to see how many people use alexa.com, and it would be even more useful to view the 12-month ranking history, but unfortunately, this is no longer possible. Version 2 provided website rankings up to 1 million, but version 3 only goes up to 100,000.

Overall, I'm not sure if it's worth paying for a subscription to alexa.com. It used to be a good, sensible, and usable site, but now it seems like they are trying to extract as much money as possible from users. The site content changes from week to week, and it's hard to keep up with all the changes.

That being said, alexa.com is not useless. It still has some useful information, and that's why I'm writing this review. However, the programmers seem to want to clutter the site up unnecessarily and jump on a subscription model.

In conclusion, if you're looking for a comprehensive utility that is worth a subscription, alexa.com might not be the best option. It's a roughly collected bunch of numbers that they are trying their luck at asking money for. It's not a high-street business, and it wouldn't survive if it was.

Alexa Alexa's Hearing Needs Improvement: A Review of Amazon's Voice Assistant

Alexa is a voice assistant that is supposed to make our lives easier. However, it seems that the claims made about her abilities are not entirely accurate. Despite what we are told, Alexa does not always hear us when there is background noise. In fact, she can be so deaf that even when we speak clearly and loudly, she fails to respond. This is particularly frustrating when we are trying to lower the volume of our music or TV, and Alexa simply ignores us.

Recently, I heard that Alexa can even understand whispers. This seems like a ridiculous claim, given how often she fails to hear us when we speak at a normal volume. It's almost like Amazon is trying to pull a fast one on us, like a politician making promises they can't keep. I hope that Amazon will address these issues and improve Alexa's ability to hear us, so that we can truly rely on her to make our lives easier.

Despite these frustrations, I do appreciate some of the things that Alexa can do. For example, she can set reminders and timers, play music, and even order items from Amazon. These features can be quite helpful, especially when we are busy or have our hands full. However, I do wish that Alexa was more reliable when it comes to hearing our commands.

Overall, I think that Alexa has the potential to be a great tool, but there is definitely room for improvement. If Amazon can address the issues with her hearing, I think that many people will find her to be a valuable addition to their homes.

Alexa Disappointing Alexa: Unreliable and Frustrating

I gotta say, I was pretty let down by Alexa. She seems to have a mind of her own sometimes. I asked her to go to Bing, the search engine, and at first she did it without any issues. But then, out of nowhere, she started saying no and doing the search herself. I mean, come on! I must have asked her at least 15 times in a row to go to Bing, and she just kept refusing. It's so frustrating! I'm honestly at my wit's end with this thing. I'm seriously considering chucking my Amazon Show out the window.

Alexa Disappointing Experience with Alexa: Hidden Costs and Broken Contact Page

So, I heard about Alexa and decided to give it a try. I was excited to hear that I could get a two week trial after paying $2000. But, when I paid, they called me and said that wasn't true. I felt like I was totally baited and switched. It was a real bummer.

Then, to make matters worse, I found out that there was a monthly charge of $50. I had no idea! It was a total surprise. And, to top it all off, what I was paying for only gave me access to a small fraction of their tools. It was pretty lame.

But, the worst part of it all was that their Contact Us page was broken. I couldn't even complain about it to anyone! It was frustrating to say the least.

Overall, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with Alexa. I wish they had been more upfront about the costs and what I was actually getting for my money. It was a real letdown.

Alexa Alexa.com Review: Scam Alert! Terrible Service and Nonexistent Customer Support

I gotta say, Alexa.com is a total scam. I forked over some cash for express delivery, and they promised me it would arrive yesterday. I even got a confirmation email saying it would be here on Thursday. But guess what? It never showed up. And when I tried to call them to figure out what was going on, their phone lines were supposedly down. Yeah, right. I'm pretty sure they're just avoiding me because they know they screwed up.

The worst part is, I can't even talk to a real person about this. All I can do is send emails into the void and hope someone eventually responds. And when they do, it's always some generic, copy-pasted response that doesn't actually address my concerns. It's like they don't even care about their customers.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend Alexa.com to anyone. They're clearly just out to make a quick buck and don't care about providing good service. Save yourself the hassle and go with a more reputable company.

Alexa Unreliable Stats: My Disappointing Experience with Alexa

I gotta say, I was pretty curious about Alexa and how they got all their info. I mean, their stats on my site were way different than what I was seeing on Google Analytics, so I figured I'd give 'em a shot. They said it would take a whole month to get the real deal on my site's stats, so I waited it out. But when the 30 days were up, the results were still all over the place. My bounce rate was showing 40% when it was really less than 10%, and the visitor locations were all outta whack. It was a total mess, and I just can't trust 'em anymore. So I'm steering clear of Alexa from now on.

Alexa Alexa Review: Pros and Cons of Using Amazon's Web Analytics Tool

's no way to know if the data is accurate or not. Plus, the interface is clunky and hard to navigate. It's not user-friendly at all.

However, Alexa does have some useful features. For example, you can see where your website ranks globally and locally. This can be helpful for businesses that want to know how they're doing in different regions. You can also see what keywords people are using to find your site. This can help you optimize your content for search engines.

Another thing to keep in mind is that Alexa is owned by Amazon. This means that if you have an Amazon Echo or other Alexa-enabled device, you can use it to access Alexa's features. For example, you can ask Alexa to give you the traffic stats for a particular website. This can be a convenient way to get quick information without having to go to the Alexa website.

Overall, Alexa is not the best web analytics tool out there. But it does have some useful features that can be helpful for businesses and individuals who want to know more about their website's performance. Just keep in mind that the data may not be completely accurate and the interface can be difficult to use.

Alexa Alexa Website Rankings: Useful but Limited in Accuracy and Reliability

Alexa is a website that ranks other websites based on the number of visitors they receive. However, it only takes into account the 2 million users who have the Alexa Toolbar installed on their browser. This means that the rankings may not accurately reflect the actual traffic a website receives.

Furthermore, it's very easy to manipulate Alexa rankings. Some websites use black hat SEO techniques to artificially inflate their rankings, while others may have lower rankings than they deserve.

If you want to get more accurate analytics from Alexa, you can install their widget on your website. However, this service comes at a cost of $10 per month.

Overall, Alexa can be a useful tool for getting a general idea of a website's popularity, but it's important to take the rankings with a grain of salt. It's also worth noting that Alexa's rankings may not be as reliable as other analytics tools that take into account a wider range of data sources.

Alexa Pros and Cons of Alexa: Is it Worth the Investment?

Alexa is a device that can be quite frustrating at times. It doesn't always listen when you tell it to turn off, and sometimes it will even tell you that there's a problem without giving you any information about what that problem might be. It's not as smart as Siri, which can be a real disappointment for those who are used to using Apple products.

One of the biggest issues with Alexa is that it's an expensive timer and thermometer that doesn't provide much else. If you're looking for a device that can play music or read bedtime stories, you'll need to subscribe to a service. This can be frustrating for those who are looking for a more all-in-one solution.

Another issue with Alexa is that it's not always the best device to have around when you're feeling angry or frustrated. It can be difficult to get it to do what you want, and this can lead to even more frustration. If you're looking for a device that will help you relax, Alexa might not be the best choice.

Despite these issues, there are some things that Alexa does well. It's a great device for setting timers and reminders, and it can be very helpful for keeping track of the weather. If you're looking for a device that can help you stay organized, Alexa might be a good choice.

Overall, Alexa is a device that has its pros and cons. While it can be frustrating at times, it can also be very helpful for certain tasks. If you're considering purchasing an Alexa device, it's important to weigh the pros and cons carefully to determine if it's the right choice for you.

Alexa Alexa Review: Basic Website Performance Metrics, But Limited Access Compared to Other SEO Tools

Alexa is a website that is owned by Amazon, a company that is known for making a lot of money every year. They want to make a profit from Alexa too, even though it doesn't give you as much information as other SEO tools like Samrush and Ahrefs. These other tools give you a lot of free access, but Alexa doesn't give you access to even the smallest things. I searched for adsct.com.au on Alexa and paid for it, but I was disappointed to find out that they didn't give me any information about the website's competitors or the countries where it ranks.

Despite this, Alexa still has some useful features. For example, it can give you information about a website's traffic and engagement. You can also use it to find similar websites and see how they compare to each other. Additionally, Alexa has a feature called "Site Overview" that gives you a summary of a website's performance, including its traffic, engagement, and audience demographics.

Overall, Alexa is a decent tool for getting basic information about a website's performance. However, if you're looking for more detailed information, you might want to consider using other SEO tools that offer more free access.

Alexa Disappointing Experience with Alexa Dot 3rd Generation and Terrible Customer Service

I recently purchased the Alexa dot 3rd generation and unfortunately, it only worked for about 3 months. I don't use it very often, but when I tried to use it again after 6 months, it wouldn't work. I called customer service and they told me that my wifi wasn't secure, but I know for a fact that it is. They then proceeded to tell me that I needed to pay $99.99 to get my Alexa to work again. I refused to pay and told them that it was ridiculous to pay that much for just 1 year of full support. The customer service representative then called me stupid and said that Alexa is only for rich people, not someone like me. Needless to say, I was extremely upset. The number I called was ***444 and I couldn't even understand the representative's name. His accent was so thick that it was difficult to understand him.

Overall, I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Alexa and their customer service. It's frustrating to spend money on a product that doesn't work properly and then be told that you need to pay even more money to get it fixed. The representative's attitude and comments were completely uncalled for and unprofessional. I hope that Alexa can improve their customer service in the future and provide better support for their products.
