I had received a message from airtel on my satellite TV saying recharge for 3months and get the 4month free. I called up customer service and confirmed that whether I can get this offer or not. They said absolutely you will be getting the same. They said you can recharge for rs.1037, I recharged online via my credit card and Guess What the transaction at gateway approved but donot reflected in my account. I called up again, I explained from beginning from the message to recharge failure. Rep said that previous rep had given you incorrect information on the recharge amount, you have to recharge for rs.1092 and I have to wait for 24hrs for the transaction, it will be automatically reflected in my account. Again they said I am eligible for 3months + 1month offer. I called up again after 24hrs and they said that I have to send them an email with the online statement after that they will transfer the money. I forwarded the information and called up again after 24 hrs again they said they have forwarded to their accounts dept. it will take 4hrs. When I called up next day they said that you are not eligible for 3month+1month offer!!

They start disconnecting my calls while I was talking to them saying “thanks for calling Airtel DTH support”. I reported them to their senior and they said that they will take action against them.

They said that they apologize for providing incorrect information and they could not honor the same. We will not honor any offer and you can do what you want but they will not honor!!!

PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANY THING RELATED TO AIRTEL BHARTI CO.

    If you want to resolve the issue you can resolve it here only. I will prefer you to resolve the issue here only because when I ask your reps including senior reps Ashish Pandey and Sunil Chauhan and may others they told that they will not honor what they had promise.

    My Customer Id is 3001748840 you can check all of my calls/case log. I will explain you here what did exactly suffer while dealin with your company:

    1. I received a message that if I recharge before 30th June, 2010 for 3 months then I will get 4th month subscription free.

    2. I called customer care to confirm that whether I was eligible for this offer or not. Your rep said I am ELIGIBLE and I can get a recharge of RS 1037.

    3. When I recharge online, the transaction from the gateway was successful but it was not reflected on to your website. Dated 19th June 2010.

    4. I called up customer care again, I had a discussion regarding failure of online transaction. Again I confirmed that if I was eligible or not. They said you are ABSOLUTELY ELIGIBLE but the information provided to you by our rep was incorrect and you had to recharge for RS 1092. I said fine you can deduct it from my balance. My balance was RS71 something. They said that they will manage and the payment will be in your account within 24hours.

    5. After 24 hours I called up and they said that I have to send them the transaction Id at [email protected] I sent an email with the transaction Id and stating what I was going thru!

    6. I got no response regarding my email. Again I called up and they said that they haven't received any email. I help them tracking my email then again "SIR IT WILL TAKE LESS THAN 24HRS FOR MONEY TO REFLECT IN YOUR ACCOUNT".

    7. Still no response then I had a talk with a lady called MS. Jadav. She said she will forward the information to sr. management. And while I was talking with her and she disconnected the call saying "THANKS FOR CALLING AIRTEL DTH". I was angry at that time and I called up again for her senior and I complaint that she did or attended the customer like this. The Senior was "SUNIL CHAUHAN". I had a detailed discussion with him and he said that the information provided by others are "ABSOLUTELY INCORRECT". You are not eligible for the plan and we will not be able to offer you the same.

    8. Many other reps disconnected my calls and I was very disappointed with you guys that you are such a big company and doesnot care about your customers.

    9. I had to follow up with you guys for more than a week then the payment was reflected. I said them that I will launch a complaint online and they said "YOU CAN DO WHAT YOU WANT".

    IF YOU HAD LISTENED ME IN THE FIRST PLACE THERE WAS NO WAY THAT I HAD POST THIS COMPLAINT.

    YOU CAN RESOLVE THE ISSUE HERE ONLY OR LET IT BE LIKE THIS. THIS WILL SHOW YOUR EAGERNESS OF HELPING YOUR CUSTOMERs.

    I am not seeing any changes in my account.

    If you want to show to people that you are active and providing good customer service then you are wrong.

    Before writing "your complaint has been resolved" you should have resolved the issue.

    This is the same thing that your rep was doing on phone...they were disconnecting my calls saying "Thank u for calling airtel". This has been repeated and you are showing your customer service infront of the world.

    I will not continue my relation with airtel once the subscription finishes unless my complaints are addressed ASAP.

Not working properly. Getting disconnected after every 15 minytes

I ravi kumar verma herby state my airtel 3g sim number [protected] creating inconvinience for us to work properly on internet.
It itself get disconnected after every 15 minutes.
I hope that you will look over this problem soon and we will be able to work on internet properly.
Purchased on 22/06/2010.
Activated on 24/06/2010 with plan of rs. 498.

    I'm also facing same issue. The internet disconnects every 3hrs exactly. It is happening since the day i bought i.e., last 2months but issue is not resolved. So fat made 100s of calls to Airtel and 100s of email to Airtel but not even a curtosy call to explain what is happening at their end.

    hi, I have 3g sim my no. 8130750647, I'm also facing same issue.i havee made call 60 to 70 call to 3g custmor care.but i m unable to talk with them because aritel is big name so the customer care exculv are so busy in 24*7.thank for this type of resopns

network problem at mumbai - mulund east-mhada colony

Hello,

Its very uninteresting to write about leading mobile service provider - airtel of india. This guys talk about increasing global network coverage and no disturbance in the network (Atooth coverage).

We guys in mulund (East) have been facing mobile network problem for past 2 months and even following up with this folks your problem does not gets resolved. I have got completely tired and calling up this folks to improve the service.

I am not sure whether anything brought to notice on this forum works or not, but if it really works then make airtel to provide better service which has got useless in providing mobile service.

signal problem

    Airtel- Network is very poor quality in indoor. Airtel- Network's zero frequency in mobile every minute. This problem is effect on mind. so, I am in problem on account of low & zero frequency. Very bed service of Airtel- network in GSM service.

    I have a no. "9871811664" post paid connection my airtel a/c no. is "102-101178233", which is blocked by me in the month of 16th of December 2017 & my request no. which is given by the customer care executive of the Bharti airtel ltd. is"10816412". Now they tell me that they have request of mine in the month of march they totally lie. They did not blocked the connection till April. I contact several time to customer care of the company but they give unsatisfactory result to me. They send me bill month by month which have only the rental of connection. I cannot use the no since from 16 December 2017. Now some stupid legal adviser named "Dinker kumar" from "55, tis hazari court" send me a letter (ref no: "LN/GKC/AS/9148/857") on behalf of bharti airtel ltd. That if i cannot pay the bill they take legal action on behalf of me. The bill amount is Rs. "1778.65". The last payment given by me of Rs.1586 receipt no:-1018345 to the company on the date of 04/01/07. since from five month the company take any action on my request to closed the no. By all things i am mentally stressed almost the legally letter given the company representative humiliate me & my family. Why i pay the amount to the company to
    free of cost. So please look the matter as soon possible and revert me please.

    My mobile connection number is 9995447595. I converted my connection from post paid to pre paid on 06 August 2017. After that, I am unable to make an outgoing call. The only outgoining call that I can make is the company's customer care number 123. I made several complaints to the number and I was promised that the problem would be rectified in 5 working hours each time. However, till date (02 September 2017) nothing has been done. My complaint numbers that I received as SMS are 081656134 dated 16/August/2017, 0814098542 dated 14/august/2017 , 0813058460 dated 13/august/2017 and 0811092969 dated 11 August 2017.

    I was appaoached by airtel autorised agent based in borivali. mumbai by ms rajani from 9867065256 explaining me about a Talkmore 199 plan from airtel with lots of features and payment of rs 800 preferably in cash to start my new number the very next day

    she sent her executive mr pritam (9867050112) to sign the forms. when i declined the cash payment. he took two cheques for rs 299 each and insisted on balance of rs 200 in cash only, which i gave bcos of the small amount

    Next day ms Anu called me from 9967965473 claimimg to be from airtel call centre , comfirming the reciept of my application and the Talkmore plan 199

    After a week, i called up rajni, and she informrd me that since i had not paid the amount in cash, the sim card will take time to come

    After 15 days a call came from priyanka 9867046863 that the plan offered to me was closed by the company 5 months ago and the authorised agents had given me wrong information. when i asked for my refund, she informed me that airtel is not responsible and i have to follow up with the agents.

    ever since its been a nightmare!!!!

    the airtel helpline 121 wont accept complaints and directed me to their gallery

    the gallery cant do anything and directed me to their website

    their website has no complaints section!!!!!!

    Its just 800 rupees......

    but imagine how many people loose such 800 every day!!!!

    airtel appoints such fraudsters and there is no complaints procedure at all...

    so guys beware!!!

    This has reference to a phone call from unknown person stating that i have to pay Rs. 385 TOWARDS THE PAYMENT OF MY LOST MOBILE NO. 9910910053. Due irresponsible behaviour of the Airtel offices i9n getting the old number sim I was made to run up and douwn with no proper response. Hence I had made complaint to TRAI after which Airtel Vice President settled the problem and on enquiry he had advised me to just dump the sim and when I asked for the bill I was told that I have nothing to pay. Infact one member was sent tot my office to talk to me and the whole thing was settled..

    Suddenly yesterday one person rings me saying that I have to pay Rs. 385 and for which I have not received any bill. When I asked him to send the bill he says I have to pay without any bill.

    There was a call from airtel employee raj of Airtel Borivali office about a airtel plan. (ph number: 9867052591, 9867052616 ). They sent a representative to our Vasai office . The agent came, collected documents and Rs 595 each from 3 of us. ( Total Rs 1, 785). After that there was no verification call or anything. The agent gave us a receipt on AIRTEL form with Verification number also.(verification and form number VF 3141061).

recharge problem

Sir,
I took an airtel pre paid comnnection in last February and my number is [protected]. On 21-jun-2010, i made a flexi recharge for Rs.100 for this number. But I got a messasge like " Your recharge was not successful" and the time of recharge was 9.36 am.I checked this with the retailer through whom I recharged and he says that his account balance is reduced by Rs. 100 for this recharging.He was not even ready to check with the ransaction Id while I was showing this message on my mobile phone.

Could you please take appropriate actions for preventing this type of cheeting activities and make the proper recharge for that amount.

wrong bill and fraud from airtel

Hi,
I am a tortured customer of Airtel Broad Band service, with landline number [protected].
They have given me all false promises all of their customer care executives are big liars
and just know how to waste time of customer and send me all fraud wrong bills of 2652Rs.
I had raised so many Complaint numbers but none of them were taken care of and i have to keep going
to the Airtel office every week stand in queue for over one hour, again they take a new complaint number and nothing, absolutely
nothing they do .

First Fraud was when i took the Airtel Broad Band connection of Plan 598Rson and i had also paid installation charges of 1000Rs. first week of April, 2010.
It was told to me by the Customer care Executive named Mahabaleshwar(cell no [protected]).He lied to me saying that
this plan has got unlimited browsing but 3GB download free.Later after two days i got a calll from another custmer care executive saying that
no the browsing will be charged.That was the first Point of Lie.Then i told them that this is not fair cause this was not communicated to me.
Then this another customer care exec. said no problem we can move your plan to 799 in another 3 working days i said its fine, but nothing happened.
My Plan was not moved to 799 which was unlimited browsing and unlimited Download.Again i called up customer care to check if they changed the Plan they promised me
that they will call me by weekend (11 April, 2010) but no call came.Like this they kept extending till the month end and by April end, they did not send me the Bill cause i had raised the
Complaint s against Airtel:-
1)Complaint Number [protected] on 17th April raised for Billing Problem, as they had till mid of month not moved my Plan, which
was a violation of waht they said and complete Fraud.
2)Complaint Number [protected] raised on 8Th of May again for Billing.
3)Complaint number [protected] raised on 10Th may for giving wrong commitment again from customer care named Rakesh(landline no 080 [protected]).
4)Complaint Number [protected] that was done on 12Th June.

All this while they just kept troubling me, without resolving my issues and i had to keep going to Airtel office every saturday, to talk to them
again and again about the same issue and they say they cant do anything, so they transfer me to some other person in the Airtel Office
and they say they have to get in touch with their backend team, which never ever takes care of any complaints.

Then i asked them to disconnect as i do not want to use airtel any more they lied saying that they will make everything fine and give me another
Plan for 499 with 1Mbps speed.Still they never stick to what they said.

After getting much pissed from airtel i asked them to send their people to come and collect their devices in the montho of May(2nd may) but nobody came.
Again they lied .Nothing happened.So much of carelessness from their side and.

I had complained and told them that i do not want to use airtel from month of may itself but they didnt take care.and had given cancellation request long time back
to customer care executives via phone.but nothing happened.Hence on 17Th may i had to go to Airtel office again whicjh i am very much
used to now as they do not care for customers at all and they gave me a Cancellation request of 351994 Number.on 17th May.
And finally on 12Th june i had to myslef go and submit the Airtel modem, and Phone and all cables to Airtel office.

Hence for entire May month i had not used airtel services at all still they have sent me a cumulative bill of 2652Rs.
Though for the monthof April i had hardly used internet for 15days that too just 1 or 2 hours .with not huge download.
Then how can i get a Bill of 2652 Rs for absolutely no usage.

Infact one of the customer care executive also told me that i will have to pay 800 Rs and stick tpo 499 Plan that they promised me but again
nothing was done.That was just another Lie.Ans now i am geeting the Bill of 2652Rs, though one Customer care named Chaithra(cell no. [protected]) promised me that she will get back to me wih
the information and i wont have to pay this wrong bill.
Basically i need my 200 Rs back from them as i had alreday paid installation charge of 1000, so they should deduct my usage charge of 800 and give me back my money.
But instead what they are doing is, they keep sending the bills of 2652Rs though they have to actually give me back my money.

I have went and complained several times but nothing, no action they take.Please take strong acation against them for inconvenience
caused to Airtel customers like this and for them being so careless on their part.Its an absolute crime.

Also on the 07-June the Same problem I faced from your end. The hello tunes again got activated automatically and you have charged Rs.45 despite i did not even either dial any numbers for your kind information.

When trying to lodge complaint online thru website, its showing IT CANNOT BE PROCESSED AT THIS TIME. SORRY FOR INCONVENIENCE. PLEASE TRY LATER..
I am trying from 3 days.

outgoing calls barred in haryana

I have airtel prepaid connection of HP where I'm working presently.
Problem is that when I reached in haryana region my all outgoing calls are barred or I can not make outgoing calls even there no issue of account balance & network.

account blocked

I signed up with Airtel callhome for a promotional offer of Nuy One get one free offer and have more than $150 balance. I couldn't use their service effectively because their service was not flexible to add my home number so I didn't use the account for six months and they blocked the account without any notification.

When I call them, they say they can't do anything. They took my money.

THIS IS A SCAM and RIP-OFF. I've tried to talk to the supervisors and was told that is I write to their escalation department, they would look into this. I sent multiple email and NO REPLY so far.

Any suggestions of how I can get them to either re-instate my account or refund my money.

    I have an account with Airtel callhome with more than $100 balance. I didn't use the account for six months and they blocked the account without any notification. When I call them, they apologize and they say they can't do anything. They took my money.

    I have the same situation like others. I signed up for Airtel callhome service and also have given some bonus minutes along with actual minutes. I have not used this service a while for some reasons taking longer time to connect a call to India. Now I tried to use again the service and it says my account was blocked.
    I called customer service to find out and they mentioned that, I did not use this service for more than 6 months and account has been blocked. Then I said asked them to please unblock and for balance money I have. They said that it has 0.00 dollar balance and mentioned that they have a rule they take away my balance money if I don't use for more than 6 months.
    I asked why you did not contact me before blocking and take my money. They said, tried to contact but they cannot reach me. I asked can you provide my money back, but they said, they cannot do anything with it. I talked to Supervisor and they said same thing. This is the worst service I ever had.
    Is this how big company like Airtel do the business? Does anybody else have same situation and resolution?
    I am planning to report Consumer protection bureau's.

    Airtel Call Home just did this to me too. I recharged my account on 9/13/2008. I tried to use it, but because of poor connection issues, I didn't. Moreover they blocked my account for no reason and despite sending emails, they could not. When I tried to call them, they told me that the money I had put in was forfeited because of 6 months of inactivity. Moreover they claimed that I lost only $1.38, even though I distinctly remember recharging it with close to $100. I never got any email warning that the account would be terminated. There was no such clause mentioned when I signed up either. Obviously this is a scheme designed to dupe people of their money. Stay away!

    It happened to me too, just today. I lost 20+ dollars in my account. I went to India for six months and came back. Tried using the account and got message 'Account has been blocked'. I called customer service and they said they take the money if the account hasn't been used for more than 6 months. Where do I report this issue? I suggest people please stay away from Airtel.

airtel poor service

I had been using Airtel number [protected] as a postpaid customer. in the month of Jan 10 I converted post paid to pre paid and submitted all my documents and got acknowledgement.

after two months my number got blocked. when I called customer service they could not able to understand why the number blocked nobody understands what ### people are sitting in customer’s service department.

after chasing the Chennai Porur show room they apologized me for the inconvenience and said I have not submitted documents for the past 4 year. again what a ### reason is this to block my number. no matter I submitted all the documents again thinking that we cannot expect better treatment from crazy airtel.

two months later again they blocked my card this time problem is I haven't submitted my enrollment form.

then I complained to Nodal officer nodalofficer.[protected]@airtel.in, I got the reply that I need to submit the documents again and expects me to chase Airtel Porur Showroom why they haven't submitted and he cannot do anything. what a ### reply Airtel showroom belongs to airtel and Nodal officer belongs to airtel I need to chase these rogues to.

then I taken this matter to appellate and got much ### reply this advising to go for new number.

    i recharged for 50 rs, and activated 5rs net pack but after 5min my balance is 0.01rs, , i called to customer care 3-4 times but they dint respond, every one cuts the call while interact. they dint even gave a complaint number...
    this thing happens for 3 times to my number 9994278524
    i called to anitha on 11/06/2011 at 5.20 pm she said you are balance will be credited with in an hour but still i dint got my balance... even they r not sending the port ID to me i also tried to change my network also...
    so take my request and credit my balance as soon as possible or send my port ID m=number

I had to pay my Air tel broadband bill in Rajajinagar Bangalore in 6th Block when I visited the office the executive told the amount to be paid. I gave the amount as she said but when she found some of the notes just torn in some corners and some neatly patched up with cello tape she rejected to take the payment. I asked her for her employee ID and the name. She said there is no employment ID. hi, I am an Airtel DTH customer, my first request for people who are / will be reading this message is please take a wise decision before going for DTH ensure that the Customer service it good if not atleast responsive, i have relocated to Hyderabad recently i have recharged my account with 800 Rs for which 600 will be deducted for reinstaslling the dish, i have raised a service request calling 1215023 ( Not a Toll free no they will charge you 50 paise for every 3 mins) and got a schedule on sunday 12 noon ( 30 May 2010) no technician turned up or not even a call from any airtel authirities this happened twice this time an executive took the call and said she is raising a complaint on the issue and said she will call me in an hours time but nothing worked not even a missed call, and again spoke to the customer support executive and escalated this issue and said that i want to talk to the higher authorities in the department and spoke a nice person who promised that the technician will reach my place by 10 am ( 31 May 2010) but no action once again the same disappointment, when i call them this time the executive said the appoinment was missed ( means as if i am not in my home) and said that my compliant status is still showing as open and the dish will be installed today ( 1 June 2010) 3 pm and when i was expecting nothing happened, every time i am getting the same response starts with an appology.

some time these executives used to diconnect the call when we start questioning them, my current balance is some where around 700+ it is being deducted for not watching any channel this implies that if you have a balance in your account no matter whether you are watching or not or the connection is available or not they will be deducting the amount

grievance from a airtel senior customer

I am very disappointed with the service provided by airtel personnel.
I have been a loyal and senior customer of airtel.I am considering changing my current broadband connection
to some other service with more consistency and concern for their paying customers.

I have been under tremendous mental harassment regarding the inconsistency of email and phone correspondence.
There are many reasons for my current mental anguish. Airtel is not the only broadband service provided, I do have other options.

1.When I switched over the plan to 2mbps 4 gb plan in april.My speed got upgraded only after the plan changed.
I was under the impression that 4 gb for was from the day of the plan change.
I was not informed about at all about the prorated calculations.
I was under a huge shock to see a bill of 3665Rs

2.When I asked to be switched from the next billing cycle may 26th to 499 64kbps unlimited plan.

To my shock my speed is 64kpbs today.

I have email correspondence shown below stating that the update will happen in the next billing
cycle only, the mistake was on the side of airtel and to ignore the previous mail.

I was initially planning to switch my plan to 899 unlimited plan 6 gb at 4mpbs and 256kbps after that.
One representative advised me airtel was offering only 512 kbps upgrades to all airtel customer
and they no longer offer speeds under 512 kps.Under his advisement I opted for the 64kbps unlimited plan
in the thought it was actually 512 kbps plan.I thought the initial speed itself would be 512kbps.

Then I asked another personnel today he said the upgrade would happen by june 1st and another representative
said it would take till end of June all in the same day.I don't know when it will really happen.


Please forward this email to your higher officials to know the difficulties of your valuable customers.

I am going to deliver a personal letter to the concerned head and to make sure no other customer goes through the same
pain and mental stress I went through.Make sure all your personell have consistent and current information.

    HOW MUCH BANDWIDTH CAN I USE ETC

    The internet line and phone line did not work for many days.


    I TRIED EXPLAINING THINGS TO MANY CUSTOMER CARE PEOPLE
    ON THE PHONE IT WAS NO USE.

    I always get a email when i cross the limit it is provided below.
    Customer care says we never send such emails.

illegal charges

My Post-paid Connection No. [protected]
I am forced to send this complaint to you as the circumstances are pushing me to do so, to be honest to you i am very upset about a few things.
1. I would like to bring in your notice of illegally charging money from my postpaid number by sending message for the services that I haven’t used from the phone. I received a message from num 54321 from airtel service at 3:57 pm on 20-05-10 "thanks for using AirtelTV subscription service from airtel. You have been charged Rs.15/-. Enjoy Games Club!
http://gclub.in " which i haven’t used or prescribed for. I again received another message from MobileTV at 3:57 pm on 20-05-10 "Thanks for choosing ESPN on Airtel Mobile TV. You have been charged Rs.15/- for 7 day(s). To stop service sms TV UNSUB to 54321.".
I called customer care No. 121 at 10:23 pm on 20-05-10 and the person responded was Mr. MIR, i asked him to register my grievance and kindly issue me a Complaint-Docate for future correspondence, but he refused to give the same and clarified that I had to pay the charges and he disconnected the call by saying " Airtel mein call karne ke liye dhanyavad". I was really upset with the attitude shown by Mr. MIR.
I called again customer care No. 121 at 10:31 pm on 20-05-10 lodged a complain, Mr.DEEPAK took the complaint and gave me the complaint number(: [protected]), just wanted to mention that i never subscribed the said service and the charges if added to my bill will automatically effect our relation.
2. Strict action to be taken against Mr. MIR who is of no use to your organisation and can only bring disrepute to such a big organisation.
