Airtel customet complaint regarding cancellation my airtel no.

Dear sir/madam,
I am airtel user since 6-8 year. My mobile no. Is [protected]. Recently I have made planned to changed my airtel prepaid no. To postpaid. I have paid 500 rupees as a activation charged on 20/06/2011. But still I m not getting your postpaid service on my mobile.
So for confirmation regarding my mobile service I am going to one of your airtel relationship centres in rohtak (Haryana). But they have told me that your no. Is under cancellation. Because address proof is not correct. But they are not telling me any reason of cancellation. I m continuously touch with your airtel relationship centres since 2 weeks.
Firstly they told me just wait sir, we are under progress. Today they cancelled my application without telling me any reason. I have already used 1 no. Of airtel on same address. If my primary no. Has been activated on same address how they can cancel my second no. But still they are not taking any action. Okay, if my address is not verified, I want my money back which I have paid for registration regarding migration of prepaid to postpaid.

My primary postpaid no. Is [protected]. This no. Also I have migrated from prepaid to postpaid just 2 month back and also it is verified on same address.

HI Mukesh, This not only happening on cell, it is happening on Landline/ Broadband connection. The serivice is totally worst and horrible. i have raised a complaint on 22nd June that my net/ landline is not working but still it is not yet get solved. more than 15 tickets i have raised on this but it is totally utter wate. they are not cancelling the connection, without usage we have to pay our money just like that . Airtel is a cheater and No. 1 -420

Airtel unauthorized deductions from my prepaid mobile account

Hi,
I am Kishore Kumar Manchikalapati, I am using Airtel Prepaid mobile service since (2005) to till date. My mobile No.[protected]
Following are the three unauthorized subscriptions that are added and amount is being deducted from my prepaid account on daily basis.
1.You have been renewed for GamesManiaSubscriptionfor subscription service from Airtel.You have been charged Rs. 5.latest games http://gclub.in browsing @ 10p/10kb
2.You have been renewed for ThebigfatfreeStore subscription service from Airtel.You have been charged Rs. 5.latest games http://gclub.in browsing @ 10p/10kb
3.You have been renewed for SubscriptionVideosParlou subscription service from Airtel.You have been charged Rs. 5.latest games http://gclub.in browsing @ 10p/10kb

Note: When I tried to check that whether I have any active subcriptions from http://gclub.in (Airtel Live URL) I found that I don't have any active subcriptions for my mobile.

When I tried to reach customer care they provided me irrelevant and useless answers. Inspite of being a dedicated prepaid user since last 7 years, Because of this fraud made by the service provider I am losing faith in the product. Daily Rs.15 is being deducted from my account because of this fraud. Till now I lost hundreds of rupees since last 3 months.

I want to make following things to be clear:

1. I didn't opted for any subscriptions on Airtel live or any other paid services from Airtel.

2. I use internet by recharging Rs.98 per month for 2GB usage on my mobile. Hence nothing should be deducted from my Prepaid account for internet usage.

3. I never opted or used prevoiusly specified subcription services .

I want this issue to be resolved ASAP without any failure.

If this is not resolved then the options available for me is to log a case against AIRTEL in the consumer court and Change my service provider.

Hi,
My issue with regard to Unauthorized deductions from my Prepaid Airtel mobile account reference number [protected] ( Mobile No. [protected]) seems to be partially resolved . Unauthorized deductions are still active. Yesterday (17/08/2011) I still had a deduction of Rs.5 with the following message.
"You have been renewed for GamesManiaSubscriptionfor subscription service from
Airtel.You have been charged Rs. 5.latest games http://gclub.in browsing @
10p/10kb ".
Please get into the insight of this issue and stop all these unauthorized deductions. Till now I lost more than Rs.500 since last 3 months. Please refund the deducted amount into my Airtel Prepaid account.

Hi,
I have followed following actions to get the issue resolve but it is not fruitful and the issue became even worse that before.

1.Yesterday first I tried to reach Customer care via 121 and got a advise to send MASALA_CANCEL to 52121 to deactivate Airtel Live. I did so, but recieved a message stating " You are
Currently NOT Active on Airtel Live service".
2.Then I again tried to reach customer care and explained the issue then the executive recklessly cut off my call without giving any resolution.

Note: After that, on this same day (16/08/2011) Rs.30 is unauthorizly deducted from my account. This is ridiculous and not at all acceptable.

I got following message 4 times and Rs.20 deducted from my account

Airtel.You have been charged Rs. 5.latest games http://gclub.in browsing @

I got following messages each once and Rs.10 deducted from my account

In total I lost Rs.30 on this single day due to this unauthorized deduction.
This is very frustrating to me. Please stop this non-sense immediately.

I am not in a position to bear this fraud any more. I want the permanent resolution to this issue.
I do have all the messages with regard to these deductions. I lost more than Rs.500 since last 2 months.

When I wrote a mail to 121@in.airtel.com. I got following response,

"We would like to inform you that mauj_charge subscription service is active since and there had been a charge of Rs. 100/- on 26-07-2011. Therefore, an amount of Rs 100/- was charged towards mauj_charge subscription service on 26-07-2011.

Your request regarding the deactivation of mauj_charge subscription service has been registered with us with reference number [protected] and the same will be addressed by 17-08-2011.

As a one time service gesture we have refunded an amount of Rs. 100/-. The refund has been processed and will be credited on your account within 24 hours."

I believe the issue is not understood properly and some temporary measures are being taken . This is not acceptable. Please help me in this regard.

Airtel bill payment

Its regarding the payment of My post paid airtel phone bill, i was standing in a queue at Nehru place airtel branch to pay my ph bills and it was a pity to see the authorized person taking payments was clearing the payments of a person from the back door and the no. of bills that person carrying was around 15. On being asked why are you clearing so many bills at one time from back door, he replied this is not written anywhere that he can't accept so many bills at one time and on being questioned he threatened to beat us. And ultimately he cleared all the bills of that person before clearing anybody's else. Its pity to see that a private company like airtel is being run in this manner similar to a govt. organization.

i have been using Airtel postpaid a/c for almost 3 years, i have good track record also in the bill payment and got the 6000 INR Credit limit also, but 2009 january i got so much problems with Airtel connectivity, so at that time i understood other providers like Vodafone people are providing excellent coverage and billing vise less also.
i took Vodafone in february and intimated Airtel (customer care)to disconnect the services from february 16th onwards, after so much convincing they told by that month end they 'll disconnect so up to february i paid the bill except 300 inr which was the amount i paid as deposit, but those people sent minimum payment bills up to july month.

i didn't resposnd for them, then in August i got notice kind of thing to pay the 4 months bill.

so how can i take an action against them.

it's not a burden for me to pay, but i want fight against the false (Airtel) jaisa faltoos services. As Software professional how can i take up this action with daily burdens in office or legal proceedings.

Finally what i mean to say is "please don't go for Airtel Postpaid connection" i don't know about prepaid, and also Customer care also, those people won't have the minimum common sense.

i had paid my bill on the 16th of oct
and ever since every morn since 7 in the morn i get calls from the airtel company regarding my bill payment..
why cant they update it i do not understand
and it is not the first time this has been happening since the past 5 months since i got the airtel no.
and to add cherry to the cake they have barred my outgoing
EVEN IF I HAVE PAID MY BILL
i have called 20 times but no proper respond '
i want to sue the service provided
this is harrassment

Airtel not approving mnp request from past one month

I have applied for mnp. I want to shift to vodafone from airtel, but everytime I give a request for mnp, airtel people call me, waste my time, request me not to go to vodafone... I have tell them strongly that I need to shift to vodafone please approve request... But everytime I get a msg by vodafone that my request for mnp has been rejected by airtel...

At my flat zero airtel network is there.. I get frustrated.. After trying for continuosly one month when again my mnp request was rejected by airtel, I called at airtel customer care and requested them not to reject the request.. I asked the time frame till when the request will be approved but the customer care executive (Mr. Dharmendra yadav)... He behaved very badly... Tried to make fool.. Since he was knowing that he cant resolve this issue, he told me to stay online... He is going to transfer call to higher level.. He kept me on hold for 5 minutes and then in between he picked up call to check whether I m there or not... When he got to know that I am there he again kept call on hold... And after some time he cut the fone...

I am helpless.. I cant change the number.. I need mnp urgent.. Please.. I was about to cry yesterday.. Airtel is very very bad... Worst... I hate airtel... Even airtel people called me on sunday also early morning.. I was sleeping.. Picked up... They werw again requesting not to change network... Wats the advantage of mnp?

Airtel simcard missin

My airtel contact no [protected] (Sim no - [protected]) is missing while travelling from chennai to muscat (Oman) hence I need to block the above no asap.
I try several time to airtel help line no but my effort gets vain & its very difficult to contact, really upset about airtel and I am going to change from airtel to vodafone asap.

Airtel set top box defective since 15

Since 12 days there is no connection of dth
Dear sir. ,
Since 10 - 12days no service to my dth why the post sale is so horrible, its
Worst than bsnl. You are providing connection within 15 min, but when
Tyherew is defect youy even 24*60*6 min I mean you are just making fool the
Customer rather you are playing with customer. My complain no. [protected].
You even didnt bothered to call me up. Mind you one thning there lot of
Company in market, dnt behave like monopolitic. Strenthen your repairing
Network other you may loose your existance. If I am not getting any

Airtel unethical practices of airtel

I am one among the million affected customers of airtel mobile unjust services. Airtel recruits a bunch of gundas for their telecalling services and gives a heavy mental and verbal torture to their customers by which they seem to gain nothing but only lose their number of customers day by day.
The situation of airtel customers become more worse if any of their family members also possess an airtel connection. For instance if a wife has a post paid airtel number and her payment is delayed due to unavoidable reasons the airtel officials bar the incoming calls of her husband's mobile prepaid service for no fault of his. To worsen the situation they receive all (No matter personal or official) calls which come to the husbands mobile and enquire about each and every caller's relationship with the mobile user and also informing that the husband's incoming calls have been barred because of the wife's payment delay. All these criminal activities are done by airtel gundas in the name of telecallers. If any complaint is given to the airtel higher officials, they don't care to respond at any point of time, as they all come under one category. So beware of airtel company and avoid using their threatening services

I AM ONE OF THE AIRTEL SUFFERED CUSTOMER WHO IS SUFFERED FROM THE WORST AIRTEL MOBILE SERVICES. AIRTEL RECRUITS THE UNTRAINED TELECALLERS WHO MISBEHAVED WITH THE CUSTOMERS BY WHICH THEY SEEM TO GAIN NOTHING BUT ONLY LOSE THEIR NUMBER OF CUSTOMERS DAY BY DAY.
I AM USING THE POST PAID AIRTEL NUMBER FROM THE COUPLE OF YEARS BACK BUT NOW THE AIRTEL SERVICE IS GOING WORST DAY BY DAY, THE MAJOR PROBLEM IS THE SIGNAL PROBLEM IN OUR CITY, I HAVE COMPLAINT FOR MORE THAN 10 TIMES ON THE CUSTOMER CARE BUT STILL NO ACTION HAD BEEN TAKEN & THE PROBLEM IS STILL THERE, MY BUSINESS IS REALLY SUFFERED FOR THIS MOBILE SERVICE, BECAUSE WHEN ANY OF MY BUSINESS ASSOCIATE TRY TO CONTACT ME ON MY NO. IT WAS OUT OF REACH DUE TO THE SIGNALS PROBLEM IF ANY COMPLAINT IS GIVEN TO THE AIRTEL HIGHER OFFICIALS, THEY DON'T CARE TO RESPOND AT ANY POINT OF TIME.

Airtel disconnection of sim with false reason

Sir
I am serving in Indian Air Force as a Non Commissioned Officer. On 06 May 11 I purchased a SIM Card of Airtel ([protected]). The number has been activated and recharged with Rs. 50/-. I was out of station for some days and after coming back I come to know that my number is not active. I contacted customer care. They told me various reason of deactivation (You may not got recharged your sim, you may not used your sim for more than 6 months etc.). I contacted the Airtel retailer from which i have purchased the sim. Firstly they told me to resubmitt the document. I have resubmit the document. Still my number cannot be activated. Atlast they told me that Airtel has deactivated my number permanently and given a reason that my verification was negative, however I never received any verification call from Airtel. I have submitted this complaint once in this site earlier. But airtel had given a wrong comment that they have resolved my issue. However my problem still survive. My grievances may be looked into and redressed and airtel should be restricted from giving wrong comment.

Airtel illegal crime by a distributor:amritsar

Dear Sir/Ma'am,

This is to bring to your notice the illegal crime done by the one of your Distributor "Mr. Pankaj Mehra" Shop No.15, Kapoor Arcade, MMM Road, Amritsar who is my husband, as we got married in Jan2004.
Since a year after my marriage in 2004 Pankaj Mehra and his family tried to Harass me for dowry so I filled a case & F.I.R406-498A(dowry case) against him in 2006 in civil court for Dowry & giving me maintainence as we are not divorced,
As we were living separately. But few days back he got married to another woman illegally without taking divorce with me.He did fraud with court & cheated them & i took the action against him and filled a compliant regarding his second marriage.

So, Kindly you also take some strict actions against Him from your end as such people should not worthy to be trusted. I will be obliged if you would consider my request and
co-operate with me.

Sir,

Sub: Disconnection of my Land line telephone No.[protected].

I, the undersigned, am not happy with the service. My telephone (No. [protected]) was out of order since 10.06.2011. In this regard I have made a complaint vide complaint no.[protected], and [protected].I have also lodged a complaint to Nodal central office your office on 24.06.2011 vide no.[protected]. Finally my telephone was rectified on 07.07.2011.
In this I have requested to waive my rental as per extent rule.
I have not yet received any bill till date but your office is telling to pay the bill.
In this regard I like to inform you that please send the bill and after scrutiny I will pay the bill and I further request you please arrange to disconnect my telephone immediately.

When the call is made to the no ([protected]), the call is answered by some one, who always say, they have no details and cannot confirm anything on phone.
Overall I am disappointed to select Airtel for MPN, even though all my family members have Airtel as service provider and my land line is also from Airtel.

Airtel amount deduction

Hi sir, this manith and my mobile number is [protected]. I don know wat these air tel peoples doing on. I have an issue over my account and I have complaint against this to the customer care executive and even for the supervisor. From past 1 month I getting deducted 5rs daily where in deed there is no one to take care abt the complaint wat I have made. They 'll give me a complaint no and even a request no. But no one put forward after that. Even I went on the airtel service center in vijaynagara bangalore. Now these people have made disconnection the call for customer care from my mobile. Its been too difficult to walk through airtel service center daily where there is no response from the manager over the place there. Please put raise the complaint against them and help me in finding the solution.

hey dude first thing if they take your request(complaint) have to issue the reference number...
if they gave your reference number post it here.
next thing once they take complaint they have to resolve it in 15 days of time.
otherwise they are out of control and u can sue them.
send mail to their nodal officer if it never works for u.
there is an shorcut to resolve ur problem easily.
just use port forwarding option port space ur mobile number to 1900
they will contact you and resolve your problems... it works...

Airtel slogan for new lpgo

I suggested a slogan for air tel mobile in india on 24-12-2010 in response to their ad in local news papers. My slogan was considered and advertised in local papers but benefit was given to some body else. I have lodged my complaint several times but no action is taken so far. Airtel false commetment by airtel employees

I booked a New connection of airtel Fixed Land line for my company A.W Construction Pvt Ltd and Iam Abdul Wasi Managing Director Of the company And my number alloted is [protected] land line and the executive of airtel make commitment to me that he will provide me the choice number which is similar to my mobile number.my mobile number is [protected] but first you allow to us for wiring and take the connection of airtel after two day your number will be change to choice number which i committed to you, and after two day they are not receiving my call and they did not do anything for my choice number, so please do action against him... 22 june 2011 ko mene roaming ki jan kari ke liye custmore care me call kiya, waha se muje bataya gaya ki agar aap gujrat se rajsthan jaoge to apko 1.5 charges lagenge or 42rs. Ka recharge karaoge to apko 60rs. Hi lage ge, or wapas jab jamngar (Gujrat) me aoge to fir se apki jo sceme hai jo chages hoge wohi ho jayege. Is liye mene 42rs. Ka recharge 22 june 2011 ko karvaya me 25 june 2011 ko rajsthan gaya wapas 2 july 2011 ko aa gaya, gujrat me aake jab call kiya to bhi muje 60rs. Charges lag rahe the. Mene jab costumer care se baat ki to muje bataya gaya ki ab apke charges 1 sall tak yahi rahenge. Ab is me kucchh bhi nahi ho sakta. Is tarah se muje cheat kiya gaya is ke karan me or ek or mera friend dono ko ab 60 paise lag rahe he,

Airtel IPTV

airtel srvice is disgusting and unprofessional...

Its the second time in this month that our IPTV has suddenly stopped working.
We have not opted IPTV merely for making complaints but we want a hassel free service.
Your technical executives (who visits on complaints) are either incompetent in their courtesy with the customer or
imcompetent to solve the probles. Last complaint we lodged on June 1st week, one of your technical executive behaved badly about who I
complained and the other one who came and wasted my 4 hours couldnot sort the problem. However, I found him surfing FACEBOOK on my laptop.

This is disgusting and highly unprofessional.

I DO NO want to go with IPTV if this is the type of service you guys are offering.

your customer care executives lacks knowledge and are not able to respond to our query.
Then why r they sitting there? u can simply record our complaints on some machine.

Ever since we have opted for IPTV, every month we have to book a complaint.

This is just not happening guys.

I complained this morning around 11 am and till now nothing has happened... No followups and no rectifications...

this id TRUELY UNPROFESSIONALS... we REGRET opting for airtel IPTV...
I hope this mail reaches the right person who can look into thie matter and correct the system...

This is to bring to the Forum's notice and Airtel that we have serious problems being an Airtel iptv Customer.

On 9th June 2013, a request was made to Airtel (No. [protected]) regarding upgradation of our iptv/broadband plan so that more channels will be available to us (142 as against to 107 in current plan).

A series of pains taking phone calls were made to Airtel Customer service (Request Nos. [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] and [protected]). On several occasions, the Floor Manager on duty was also spoken to. All of them had listened to our concern however no action was taken to upgrade the plan. Few callbacks were received that clearly indicate the disconnect between customer service and tech support at Airtel. As per the Customer service, the plan has been upgraded and as per the tech support, upgradation is not done and they need a new request. But Customer service doesnt raise a new request for upgradation as per their records it is upgraded.

Only Airtel has the shameless approach and audacity to send an update at the end of month that I have been charged as per the New bill plan.The ironicalpart is that I am still to receive the bill.

The only option left for me is to approach some Forum like this for getting the needful done. Else I shall be forced to take up the matter with Consumer Courts.

Dear Consumercourt,

Reg: Complaint - 3G Airtel Data Plan Unwanted excessive billing without using, and disconnection without any intimation.

On March 20 2011 I have Activated 3G Airtel Data Unlimited Plan of Rs.750 by contacting Airtel representative in Bangalore. I never got proper internet connection as my phone was always on GPRS and I complained 3 times to Airtel, but they told that I am staying out of city limits so I may not be able to avail the 3G services. I tried a lot from different places in my home, but I was getting only GPRS level internet to check e-mails and webmails. I checked many times online in my Airtel account on my status of 3G connection whether it is active or any usage data, but there was nothing displayed. As I was stated to go overseas by my employer, I checked rigorously every 3 days to see if any balance is there to pay off. Airtel never updated anything online in my account either regarding 3G status or regarding my usage or my outsanding bill. On April 19th Airtel have disconnected my services without any intimation or any SMS. After that I have sent an e-mail on April 20 2011 (thinking there could be some problem with website) instructing Airtel to close the connection and provide the balance amount information to pay off through e-mail. I got a mail with a shocking 19K balance amount. Airtel have charged me a bill of 19000/- Rs. I immediately written reply asking for more details, but I didnt get any details other than total bill of 46000 Rs and after discounts it is 19000 Rs. I was still in shock and explained them the whole story, they firmly told that I have to pay since I have used it. I really got irritated, and asked the three below mentioned questions

1. How did my bill went on to 19000, when my credit limit is 2500.
2. Why I didn't get a call or SMS that I have crossed my limit
3. If Airtel claims that they sent me communication on the point no 2, then why it didn't get disconnected after crossing 2500/-

Till now they have never answered these questions, I wrote number of e-mails to provide clarity, they always said to call back on their number.

I called up to that number, and found out after discussing that the bill 46K is generated in three days. So they didnt get time to intimate me. Also they lied saying they disconnected my connection after I wrote e-mail to Airtel.

How can they say these kind of stories and make customers fool. They kept me in total darkness till the end. Now they cook some stories, how customer would believe them. I am 12 years experienced IT proffessional, working in big MNC. I know what is internet all about.
Airtel lack the system to control and to be transparent in showing the usage and statistics. I believe Airtel employees are playing with the internet of the customer connection and creating such huge bills.

There are so many dissapointing situations I have faced, mentioned below

1. I didnt get proper Internet services from 3G connection. I never surfed much internet.
2. There was no intimation online or through SMS that connection is active.
3. There was no customer service on my complaints on 3G service, nor any follow up. I have chase them.
4. No intimation of whasoever bill.
5. No intimation on disconnection.
6. No bill, I have recieved bill on June 22 2011.

They are calling my alternate number and speaking rashly, asking to pay by hook or crook. I said it firmly that this is total cheating and keeping customer in darkness till the end is not correct, and I cannot pay that huge amount.
Now they have started randomly calling to the numbers of my dialled list, and threatning them and torturing them, that they would sue them or send them to Jail. Lot of my freinds and relatives have complained that they lost mental peace and want get rid of this endless torture.

Mentally I am very much disturbed and frustrated becuase of Airtel's brutal actions, and negligence.

Airtel 3G system has to be recalled and revalidated, to get relief for its innocent customers. Airtel is proving to be a big fraud in this case if its not immediately looked upon.

I also warn other prospect customer to not go with Airtel 3G, this is my sincere advice.

my airtel 3g sim is not working properly.it is getting disconnected after every 10 to 15 minutes.
we are facing a lot of problems in surfing.
thus i hope dat u seek to this problem and get we will get out of this problem soon.

PLEASE DONT TAKE AIRTEL 3G CONNECTION ..IT SUCKS ! I request you all..please don't ever think of Airtel 3G. Its really a ###! I had got the connection activated for just 2 days and can you imagine ..i got a bill for 8000 bucks ! OMG..When i checked with their ###ing team, they had told me that there is some bug in the billing system and ignore the same ! But after a while, i got another ###ing notice called legal notice ..and when i again checked with the same ###ing team, they were giving explanations that my usage is so n so for two days (means i was charged whenever i just tried to connect to internet only) having no other way i had paid the ###ing bill to those b(e)uggers! It really sucks..please never even think of getting this!

Even I have the similar complaints about airtel 3g postpaid, I am getting very worst customer service, without our notice they chaged 3g plan and charging heavily for the internet usage. Charging around 10Rs for 1mb usage. and they won't notify and finally will send
huge amount bill . Evwn if we give compalint ot customer care their executives don't have knowledge what is mb or kb, they simply tells you have charged on pro-rata basis.
Even their 3g network coverage is pathetic, in Bangalore Domluru they don;t have network coverage only we gwt 1 or two signals where as tata docomo have full signal in same place, and if you complaint they will simplt tell we took the complaints and later will send one message that we tried reaching your are not rechable and will close the complaint.
Now I disconnected airtel and I bought tata 3g, and I am not going to pay their bills . I have simply paid 1, 200 rs per month without using 3g speed . It was a very Bad Experience with Airtel . Shame to Airtell!Cheaters.
