Ags fourwinds were contracted to store, then ship all our household contents from Singapore back to the UK. Ags' representative, Charlie Scott, agreed that air conditioned storage was necessary to prevent mold damage to furniture and clothes. To keep costs reasonable, he did not recommend comprehensive insurance. When our shipment was delivered and unpacked, almost every item of clothing and furniture was affected and/or permanently damaged by mold. Ags has refused to admit any liability or compensate us, despite over 20 emails and phone calls. The damage was noted by ags staff who unpacked the contents, and further photographic evidence was immediately provided to ags. The damage claimed for repairs was sgd $3,000 (approx usd $2,100). Ags insists that because the shipment was not comprehensively insured, they have no liability whatsoever. Charlie Scott was also not contactable as he had left the company.

    I utilised AGS Four Winds Singapore to ship my items from Sydney to Singapore. AGS Four Winds being the representative agent. Several high value items were lost during shipment.
    When I reported this incident to AGS Four Winds and Wridgeways International Removalist, they claimed that they have no liability to compensate loss items as we did the same thing, no insurance cover to keep costs down.
    I have lodged a complaint to the Fair Trading NSW, Hopefully something will go through. I do not recommend to use their franchise or services. Good luck to your case too
