Booked a room with air conditioning on the Agoda website. When we checked in, told there was no air conditioning (third floor attic room with no windows). I contacted the property who was full and could not move us. They informed us that they did not list property with Agoda and that their "partnership" was with Booking.com and indeed, the information was correct on the Booking.com website. Have made a formal complaint to Agoda but they have only responded using their AI and "denied" my claim for refund without reviewing any of the documentation that shows that they were misrepresenting the information.
Desired outcome: Refund of dollars paid for the room, since we booked specifically because it was supposed to have air conditioning.
