1StopBedrooms review: Mixed Experience with 1StopBedrooms: Frustration with Backorders, Damaged Item, and Lack of Communication

I recently moved to a new state and with Covid19 going on, I decided to do all my furniture shopping online. After doing a lot of research, I stumbled upon 1StopBedrooms and thought it was the perfect solution for me. However, my experience with them was not as smooth as I had hoped.

After placing my order, I received a notification that some of the pieces I had ordered were on backorder. I didn't mind waiting since I wasn't moving for another few weeks anyway. But then, two weeks later, I received another email stating that even more pieces were unavailable. I was frustrated, but I decided to look for living room furniture from another store.

Finally, after five long weeks, my items were set to be delivered. I was so excited to finally have a bed to sleep on instead of an air mattress. But then, the delivery driver called to tell me that one of the legs had been damaged. I was ready to refuse delivery and buy furniture from another store, but a representative from 1StopBedrooms called me and assured me that it was an easy fix. They promised to ship out a replacement part that day and I should have it by the end of the next week.

However, it's now been two weeks and I still haven't received the replacement part. When I called to inquire about it, I was on hold for almost 40 minutes before someone finally answered. They informed me that the manufacturer had been putting my address in wrong and that's why I hadn't received the part yet. I was frustrated that there was no communication from them about this issue.

To make matters worse, I found out that everything I had ordered from 1StopBedrooms was available on Amazon for hundreds of dollars cheaper. I wish I had done more research before making my purchase.

Overall, my experience with 1StopBedrooms was more inconvenient than I had expected. While they did try to fix the issue with the damaged leg, the lack of communication and the long wait for the replacement part was frustrating. I would recommend doing more research before making a purchase from them.
