1StopBedrooms review: Disappointing Experience with 1StopBedroom: Poor Quality Furniture and Customer Service

I recently purchased a bedroom set from 1StopBedroom on 05/02/2022. I was excited to receive the Estrella Bedroom Set, which included a bed frame, dresser, mirror, and chest. However, on 07/26/2022, I received an email from the company stating that the Estrella Bedroom Set was discontinued. They provided me with a list of comparable units, and I decided to change my order to the Deryn Park Bedroom Set (bed frame, dresser, mirror, and chest) with Web ID: QB***.

On 09/22/2022, Ryder Delivery service brought the bedroom set to my home. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I noticed that every piece of furniture was damaged. I was shocked and disappointed. I asked the delivery person about the ramifications of delivery refusal, and one of the delivery people contacted dispatch at Ryders. I spoke with the representative and was informed that if I refused delivery, I would be charged a 15% restocking fee and $1.75 per pound of furniture. They suggested that the best course of action was to have the items delivered to avoid being charged fees. I allowed the delivery men to leave the furniture, but I took pictures of the damage to provide to the company.

I was informed that I would hear back soon, but the following day, I did not receive a return call. I decided to contact 1StopBedrooms directly and informed them of my dissatisfaction with the quality of the furniture. I requested a refund and wanted the unit out of my house. The 1StopBedroom representative informed me that they would open a claim and determine whether they would replace a portion of the furniture or the entire unit based on the pictures I provided. They also mentioned that if I wanted a refund, I would be charged a restocking fee of 15% in addition to $1.75 per pound.

During delivery, my home's recently renovated wall was damaged, and the delivery people couldn't build the furniture as they claimed the holes were missing for the screws. Given the damage to my home and the terrible quality of the furniture, I do not desire to do business with this company. However, I shouldn't be penalized by fees due to the deplorable quality of the furniture.

Overall, my experience with 1StopBedroom was disappointing. The company's customer service was lacking, and the quality of the furniture was terrible. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for quality furniture.
