Early this week I received a notice from Zoosk thanking me for my recent purchase of a 3 month subscription. I never requested it. They had my credit card number from a subscription purchased last year. They fraudulently used my cc. I contacted them and they sent me a message indicating I told them I wanted to close out my account. I never told them that. A day later they credited my card back the money and within a few hours they charged me for a one month subscription. I never asked for it. I sent another message saying I didn't authorize them to charge my credit card. Again they replied I wanted to close my account. No where did I hint of closing the account. I said they illegally charged my card. A day later they credited my card back.
Because of their fraudulent scam, I cancelled my credit card. They can't be trusted. I also called the phone # they put with their billing. It's not a working #. The bogus # is 888-939-6675. What kind of business puts a fake phone # with their billing?
Recommendation: Don't use Zoosk for a dating service. Match is a much more reliable service and more women reply to my messages. On another note, recently they sent me several messages about numerous women who were not following security requirements or were doing inappropriate things. I've been a member for a few years and rarely did they send this kind of message. Once I notified them of a suspicious person.
