Yankee Candle Failure to process order or answer phone

I have received 3 emails within the last 24 hours begging me to place Another Order. BUT they still havent shipped the order I placed 8 days ago.
Additionally, I have been on hold for 1 hour and 15 mins waiting to ask if they are even going to ship that order. I'm sick of their recording!

I like the quote I saw under their logo
"Doing nothing would be this company's favorite pastime, if they had the energy for it." as it sure sounds like their response to my order!

Yankee Candle Yankee candle car jar

I purchased a North Pole scented car jar and it's not working. It's not putting off any smell into my car. I'm very disappointed because I love Yankee candle and the scents. I was so excited when I opened the package and i was upset to come out to my car more than 24 hours later and it has no smell. It is very unlikely for me purchase another car jar. Maybe it was the scent I picked but I'm very disappointed.

Yankee Candle Yankee candle air fresheners

I paid $6.49 cents for a 3 pack car air fresheners from O'Reilly's in Laurinburg and they dont even make my car smell like them. They dont even have no strong smell coming from them like they normally do.. I am not truly satisfied with them at all.. I think I overpaid for yankee candle fresheners that dont even make my car smell good. $6.49 is alot of money for a 3 pack freshener that dont even work like it should.

Yankee Candle There product caused damages to my home

I have a damage claim with them since Jan 5. It's September 26 now.
They won't contact me back I sent about 500 emails and no one will get back to me at all I'm very upset. I need them to take responsibility for there product.
I have sent them all the information they asked for and then they stopped emailing me. The person who started the claim was Jess Myers. I don't believe she/he forgot about what happened but maybe just trying to ignore me. But I won't stop emailing them until I get the help I deserve

Yankee Candle yankee candle

Yankee candle holder and tea light - I have had many Yankee candles and tea lights for many years and never have I experienced a traumatic instance as I did recently.
My mother and I sat down one early evening in June this year burning a
candle tea light and holder on our breakfast bar in the kitchen. After about an hour I could smell burning only too find that her breakfast bar in the kitchen was on fire with massive flames burning from where the candle must have sparked and set the breakfast bar a light. This caused major damage to my mother's kitchen costing in excess of £3000 to repair and replace with smoke damage and a very burnt breakfast bar which will have to all be replaced due to not being able to match the existing worktops. My mother has never claimed on her insurance in all her years of being insured.
She has been very shaken and anxious since this incident and at 82 is very upset with the overall experience and now having to pay an increased annual premium due to this incident.
I wanted to bring this to your attention as if I was not with my mother that evening who knows what might have happened and the consequences suffered.
I look forward to your response at your earliest convenience.

Yankee Candle 14.5 ounce candle one wick jar

I have used a lot of Yankie candles over the years, all different size candle jars, votives etc. I have always had awesome clean scents without any problems. On this particular occasion I had only used the jar once, lit it and burned it for an hour or so, then a few days later I put the jar on my coffee table. Today my 4 year old grand daughter, who loves to smell all my candle scents, picked up the jar and when she took the lid off to smell, it shattered into her hands, the entire top of the jar had pieces of chards all over her little hands. Both my husband and I were there to witness this. Thankfully we are both nurses as we calmly took the candle and immediately ran an assessment on her hands, tummy, arms, feet and face. I am furious at most and would like a phone call or someone I can contact to talk about this. I am now out a $20 candle and my grand daughter is afraid to smell candles. Fortunately after the glass broke we acted quickly to make sure she was not injured being trained medical professionals, we cleaned her up and cleansed her well. There was broken glass everywhere. Any clue why a brand new candle would do this? I would appreciate another candle or 2 to replace this one.

Yankee Candle yankee candle scents for your car

Regarding the charming scents for your car
I have bought the charm holder and it came with the one scent it had no fragrance I was very disappointed because I thought I would at least get some fragrance for the money I spent buying the whole kit. I thought that maybe that one was wore out so I bought a 2 pack of refills and still the same thing no fragrance the charm is really cute but what good is it with no smell.

Yankee Candle car jar ultimate

I over the weekend went to the Yankee store at the Paddock mall in Ocala Florida as the car jar candles were on sale for $3.00 each. I purchased 4 of them, after getting home I put one in my car, No smell at all I also open yet another one and again there was absoliuly no smell. Perhaps they were old and perhaps that is why they were on sale?
I usually am not a complainer but times in the past the same thing but did not say anything.
I love love yankee candles they are all I usually buy as they are the best. Just a bit disapointed on the jar ones.

May I take them back to the store oven though I have opend 2 and the other 2 are still in the wrapper?
I would rather get some fresh ones.

Yankee Candle No scent from 23 candles I bought from yankee candle website

Bought these online. Cold scent is alright but after being lit, it's just hot wax burning. 23 are duds. Bought these when I lived in California before I moved to Kansas and didn't have a chance to use them. I packed them in their original boxes and moved in December. Now everything is unpacked, set out the candles and guess what? No scent. I go online and find out there are thousands of people complaining about them.

I purchased Yankee Candle Car Jar Ultimate. I am extremely disappointed. The scent is not there it lasted all of 2 days and died. I paid a lot of money for 3 jars and will not purchase these again. I also purchased your candle and that again was not what I am used to. The scent was not there. Very disappointed. I also noticed the jars are from Mexico. That is the end for me of Yankee Candle. Raise the prices in the US and cut your reliability. To bad I always liked Yankee candle and now I will not purchase your products.

Yankee Candle yankee large candle soot damaged room

Yankee candle soot
I brought this large candle bubbly pomegranate candle but the first time are used it smoked even with me cutting the wick I cut it every time I use it and it still smokes and now my bathroom has smoke damaged,
I have burnt loads of candles but never has one done this, I got lots of yankee candles 30 plus in total now I am not happy about burning these incase it causes more damaged to other rooms, I always use yankee candle wick trimmer and snuffer
Very unhappy as got to remove soot and decorate even though the room was done just a year ago

Everyone having soot issues, get a illuma lid candle topper. I have exactly zero soot . You can catch them on clearance at Yankee Candle for five dollars .

Yankee Candle yankee candle small square holiday pomegranate

I have been a long time yankee candle customer over my lifetime and i have always been very happy with the yankee candle products. For christmas i purchased a 12.25 square candle "holiday pomegranate". The aroma did not fill my open air floor plan as previous candles have. Second, the wicks burned down before the candle was gone leaving a half inch of unused wax. Overall this candle was a holiday disappointment to me. The cost was 17.99 at walmart and i pondered spending that much as i live on a fixed income. I am writing in hope that there may be some sort of compensation for this candle.

Yankee Candle unable to get off email list

I have clicked unsubscribe, called twice, and sent more emails than I can count to be removed from the yc emails. I have been told 'your email address has been added to the suppression list' and 'it can take a few days for emails to stop', but this has been going on over 3 weeks. They supposedly sent this to their technical department to figure out the problem, yet I still get their emails. I am addressing my emails to mary w., laura k., debra d., deb s, and keep getting the same canned responses.

I have also returned a rather large purchase due to this hassle. I will no longer purchase from yc, or give my friends and family anything from this company.

Pissedconsumer also has this complaint and yc is aware of it since I sent them the complaint email. Yet they are not resolving the issue. Incompetent, horrible company.

Yankee Candle customer service in

To whom it may concern

I am writing as I have had a terrible experience with your company. 

I placed my order back in November after it arrived 4 days late, I was items missing. I rang to report this to be told I would get a 20% refund and a free jar of my choice.  

I received my free jar,   but I am still awaiting my refund.  

I have rang 6 times to chase thia up to be advised each time it would be done that day.  Unfortunately that's never happened and I am still waiting.  

As you can appreciate I really could do with this at this time of year but I just keep getting fobbed off. 

I spend a lot of money at Yankee throughout the year and find this very disappointing. 

I would appreciate someone looking into this and getting back to me as soon as possible

Yankee Candle tea lights and holder

Bought two boxes of tea lights for xmas., Balsam and mistletoe. Neither box has given off any fragrance. Rip off. Don't waste your money. Either stock is old or they cut back on fragrant oil. They have not cut back on price, however and charge a premium price for their candles. I am returning the boxes and will accept newer ones and if they are the same deficient profuct, I will initiate a complaint with the Attorney Generals Office under misrepresentation of descriptive product.

Yankee Candle candles and soot!

Been seeing black soot all over - I went to Yankee store "Oh, you need a wick cutter, and she tells me the height the wicks should be and that'll stop it, etc" SOOOO - I purchase the wick cutter. WHAT A LIE! Within seconds, MORE SOOT pouring from the candle! The beautiful glass holders I placed them in, COVERED with black soot! So, I now only order my NICE candles from Williams Sonoma! What a difference! Regular little candles I buy at Publix, like Glade or Airwick, they don't burn black with soot! CLEAN! Will NEVER WASTE my $$ on another Yankee Canlde!

Yankee Candle employee/service

While shopping, I encountered an employee by the name of Cheryl (name on receipt), a larger older lady with red hair, who had the most obnoxious customer service I have ever seen.
She rummaged through customers personal bags (and mine as well) and then opened the other customer's Build A Bear box and moved the contents inside. She also asked my son and I personal questions and harrassed me non stop while I was trying to shop while inches from my face. I ended up only buying two room sprays because I just couldn't deal with this behavior any longer. I will definitely not be coming back to this location and will also let my friends and family know not to shop there as well.

Yankee Candle candles

I've received 2 yankee candles for christmas but i'm really disappointed and the way the candles burn. Both candles appear to be burning in the middle and leaving wax around the edges which means at least 40% of the candle is wasted. I've resorted to removing the wax with a knife and throwing away as if i put it in the melted wax it will become higher than the wick and be totally useless.

Yankee Candle ultimate car jar

Just purchased two of these in cinnamon scent. Neither of the produce any scent. Very disappointed. Will not waste any additional funds on these. I thought at the higher price of these automobile air fresheners that they would provide premium results. This was not the case. I do have however to jar hanging mirror ornament which provide swinging non functioning decorations.

Yankee Candle yankee candle advent calendar

I have a Yankee candle advent calendar up to now day 15 and there has been 2 empty doors. I wasn't going to complain when there was just the one but then this morning there was another. And who knows by Christmas day there may be more. These callenders are not cheap and for 24.99 I expect every door to have a candle behind. I find this really disappointing.

Yankee Candle customer service

Today I was shopping at the Yankee Candle store at the Holyoke Mall location. While shopping, I noticed a sign that read "Buy 3, get 3 free EVERYTHING in the store (picture below). After reading this, I proceeded to ask an employee on the floor if the small tumbler candles were included in this offer seeing as they were on sale at $5 a candle. After asking this, the employee assured me that these were part of the deal and that the only items excluded on the deal were the Woodwick and Personalized Photo Candles as displayed on the signs that were all over the store. As I got to the checkout, the cashier informed me that the six candles that I had were in fact not included in the "Buy 3, Get 3" deal. She then refused to give me the deal even though I was quoted by another employee. I found this to be very misleading, as I told her that one of the employees in the store had told me that these were indeed part of the sale after showing her the exact candles that I brought to the register with me. I'm very disappointed in the service I received today at this location.
