After receiving the items (3 separate orders) only one of the orders worked properly. I tried for days to contact the company via email and phone before I finally got through to a person. I was granted two RMA (return numbers) after a grueling conversation that the products did not work properly. Then proceeded to pack the orders for return myself (ALL components on both orders). Two weeks after delivery confirmation says it was received and still no refund given. I emailed several days before getting a response:

The rude customer rep Lecrecia B., said that a remote and small receiver was missing in the return box and I KNOW that it was packed and sent back along with all paper work and a listing of all the items. I know without a doubt that all the items were returned, the items were not missing when it was shipped back. They have been so aggravating to deal with and now they are stealing my money too!

They should have refunded 98.00 for the order but $0 refund even after returning everything?

This is horrible business practices...no ethics whatsoever! They are thieves!

    The company has a big problem comming up with a replacement for a defective product that was returned to them within the period for wihich they guaranteed the product. One month and still waiting.

    This is what I'm dealing with now. I sent everything back to them to get my 99 refund, but I kept on getting a rude *itch on the phone. Told me that a supervisor was going to call, but never did. She told me that they only received three remotes, and the funny thing is I sent the three remotes all together with the other items in the same box. If they got the remotes, then they got the other items. The box weighted at 15lbs. I highly doubt those three remotes weighted in at 15lbs. This is crazy. Once get my money back, I have vowed not to order from X10.com again. Never again!!!

    X10 billed me on my credit card for something I didn't order and they said they sent the item they charged me for to someone else.

    I asent my item back because it did not work and they have had it for weeks and have not refunded me one red cent. I got an email from a Jennifer Ferguson at X10 orders department that read.

    Thank you for your reply. Our records indicate that a
    > dispute was filed with PayPal for this order. When a dispute
    > is filed, PayPal will not allow any access to your account
    > on this order number including refunds. If you contact
    > PayPal today and cancel the dispute we can have a refund
    > processed within 24 hours. If you choose to have the dispute

    I emailed back telling them I did stop the dispute but that was over a week ago. I am going to reopen my dispute for charges and contact the BBB. Good Luck dealing with these people.

    I ordered a TV A/V transmitter from X10. They (Mia) called me the next day saying it was out of stock (even though they continue to advertise it on their web site) and did I want to pay an additional $10.00 for the upgraded model. I told them NO I would wait for what I ordered to be in stock. Within the hour they went ahead and shipped the order that I clearly told them I did not want as it would not work with my older TV. When I got it I called them to return it and they told me I had to pay to return it. I informed them that as I did not order it and specifically told them I did not want it, that I would NOT pay to return it. Under the law as they sent it via U.S. Mail and I did not order it, I could keep it for free AND get a refund from my bank. They then sent me a Fedex pre paid return label. They also confirmed that they received it back but they never refunded the charge. I placed it in to dispute with the bank and sent the bank the return confirmation from FedEx. Once X10's bank gets enough charge backs from them, they will suspend their ability to accept Visa as payment any longer and this will put this dishonest rip off company out of business. I also foled a complaint with the New Jersey, Washington State (their web site's listed/registered home office) and the California Attorney General's Office of Consumer Protections and Frauds. This company does not deserve to do business and we all need to make sure they do not rip off others by complaining to all of the proper government and banking authorities.

    I have the same issue with them, I returned the product with a RMA number but they refuse to refund. Anybody knows their address in order for me to send them a letter? I want to fill a complaint against them but I don’t know whit who? Any Idea? I live in Canada.

    I purchased some X10.com cameras and software to run the cameras. Nothing works and they won't refund my money.

    I am still waiting for my RMA number. I hope they don't streech it out so I am over the 30 day period. It has been one week so far. I would call the BBB in their state if I were you. I am sure they will help get your money back.

    I had purchased a security camera system that was 159.14, I changed my mind because it didn't come when they said it would, and I called and cancelled, and then saw that they had charged my credit card 184.61. I have written to the company, and its been two months and no refund on my card.

    same problem returned 4 items in oct 2011 they received them but ican not get a refund sent certified letter, called 4 times, emailed 4 times was tol a supervisor would return my call i am still holding my breath

    X10 changes my order and overcharged my credit card without my approval. X10 apparently is not an honest company. BTW, the customer service is bad!
