Worth point has been taking money from my account even though even though I have not used it and have not been contacted at all from the company about verifying any monthly charge. It is deceptive and for that reason it should be illegal and I want a refund for the entire term.

Worthpoint billed me 44.03 even though I canceled my account... it won't let me take a screen shot of the account page showing that I canceled my subscription...but I attached a screen shot of them billing me 44.03...I originally signed up to research vintage and antique items I have picked up but found very little information at worthpoint...thank you for your time

Billed on free trial and unable to reach anyone via email / phone for refund Created account on a free trial basis and immediately charged for selected option. (I thought at first it was a hold on my bank account to ensure the card went through or had sufficient funds on their end). The site states that billing would take effect beyond 7 searches or 7 days (whichever comes first), however I had less than the 7 and cancelled my account the very same day it was created. An email was also sent to me confirming the cancellation, but I am unable to make contact with anyone via email or phone to obtain a refund. Multiple attempts made.

Joined their free trial and was charged for it. Then when I got my refund they cancelled my trial. So there is literally no trial they are lying. Jan 20th 2021 I joined their online free trial. They emailed me saying they would charge me 23.99 on Jan 27th 2021, then I got an email from PayPal that they charged me. They wouldn't answer my emails so I filed a claim with PayPal and shortly after got a refund. But then they cancelled my free trial! I didn't even get a full day. There is not a free trial. They are lying to customers. It's bad business, I've tried to contact the company but to no avail. I think businesses like this should have consequences for actions like this.

I took the "Free Trial" of WorthPoint Corporation in 09, and, like many complainants, got charged from then on until my credit card number changed in 06. There was no email confirming the subscription and the reason I didn't question it was that I thought it was an avionics related fee for my husband , not recognizing the company name. My activity log will show that I have not used this company's website since 09. Other complainants have talked about being charged $20, but I have been charged $39.99 a month for 34 months for a total of $1359.66. My Identifier was sent to me when my credit card was refused this month. It is A-SXXXXXXXX. I will be calling Worthpoint tomorrow to cancel and ask for a refund, but want to put this to you before I call.

I signed up for a free trial in January and didn't use it more than the 7 times allowed in 7 days. There was no "end subscription" or "cancel" option but it said I'll be charged if I use it again so I figured if I don't use it, I'm all set. Then I noticed a $39.99 charge this month (August). The customer service rep cancelled the subscription. I asked if there have been any other charges and I've been charged every month since January. I haven't received any emails stating a charge was scheduled, no receipts, no indication whatsoever that I've had this recurring charge. The rep said the company is only able to give a refund for the most recent month. I had to call my card company to file a dispute for the other months and now it's up to Worthpoint to agree to give me a refund. I think the company has shady practices and intentionally makes it difficult to cancel once you start a trial and quietly charges you every month until you notice, then gives you one refund. Very unhappy.
