Mike and his co-worker (can't remember his name) were both very friendly and professional. They sorted my jewelry and I feel like they gave me a fair price. I was happy with the whole transaction. I will definitely be doing business with them in the future.

National Rarities was very personable, professional, and efficient. Very clear communication about the pricing which they were willing to do for each individual piece. It was a very pleasant way to sell some items I was no longer using. I will use this company again in the future.

I enjoyed my experience dealing with this company. I called them first to talk about what I might possibly bring to them. They were very knowledgeable. I also brought them my sterling flatware. They answered my questions & explained thoroughly how they reached their estimate. I felt they were very fair.

I worked with Sarah at the event I attended. She was very knowledgeable and friendly and helpful. She thoroughly explained why she was offering the prices she stated and actually advised me to take a better offer I had been given on one item. I really appreciated how honest she seemed to be about everything.

My experience was good. Friendly appraisers. My disappointment was that they do not appraise custom jewelry, ceramic pieces, pottery and only appraise american paintings. I was hoping they could steer me in the direction to other appraisers but they could not offer any help with that. They are limited to what they accept.

I went to a National Rarities event at a local trusted jeweler. I was treated with courtesy and dignity. Most of the items I brought were not of a high value but I thought I was given a fair price for the items I sold. I was given ideas of how to discard other items in my possession that might be of interest to another venue.

Both of the representatives, Katie Smith and the gentleman, were very cordial and seemed to be knowledgeable. I appreciated the fact that they didn't act like I was not smart when the paintings I took in were not "fine art". They were very nice when telling people that the items they brought in were not valuable. They were extremely patient with everyone they talked to.

I finally let go of some of my mothers jewelry for financial reason. The young lady I worked with (Brandy?) could tell I was sentimental. She took her time was so sweet. I was surprised with what I was offered, and the extra compassion Brandy provided. I will definitely recommend and return. I told her I'd be back. I have a lot of sterling and a few antique toys I have kept but is time to let go.

The card I received in the mail advertising items they would buy was well done, very comprehensive. It helped me to know what to bring in. From check-in to out the door, my experience was awesome. Each employee I encountered was courteous and professional. Sarah, my appraiser, was so considerate with her evaluations. They helped me downsize and gave me good feedback on items even if it was not an item they were looking to purchase.

National Rarities offered a casual conversation about the value of my items and the difference between appraisal value, retail value, resale value, and even sentimental value. I have learned the value of an item is basically what someone is willing to pay and sometimes sentimental value is greatest of all. I sold few things that were sitting around and I no longer wanted. They made a no-pressure offer and provided an excellent one-stop opportunity to learn about a ton of different items. Awesome service and the buyers were very knowledgeable!

John was exceptionally knowledgeable and professional- a very nice southern gentleman. I wasn't sure what I was doing with our family jewelry. The process and decision to sell is so emotional and caused me a lot of anxiety, but there was no pressure from John as he explained the whole process step by step. He made me feel so much better. When I left I know I can make a better decision soon. John is an asset to the company and I look forward to working with him again in the future when he and his team return to our city in the fall. Went to an event held at National Rarities store in Rochester, NY on June 30th. Saw ad in paper for an estate sale and since we have been thinking to sell two of my diamonds we would take and see what they had to say. To keep this simple...one diamond..round 2.4 carat..the most they could give me was $5000. Told us the most they would get would $7000. The second diamond is a yellow diamond...2.39 carat...even less valuable per their estimate. They told me the mounting was platinum and only worth $800. They also said a few things...not credible in my opinion. Compared diamonds to cars...depreciate in value as soon as you walk out the door. Not true. Price down because of COVID19...I don't think so. Remember the 3 Stooges..when they play lawyers? HONEST I"M HONEST! Keep in mind I have had appraised several times and have both rings insured for $60k. Same day I took to another jeweler and this is his appraisal...The round diamond $35,000. The mount $4500. Yellow diamond $24,000 and the mount $12,000. This jeweler gave the price of the gold and platinum markets . I also need to say I worked in the financial sector my entire work life. I know how gold, platinum, and precious diamonds react in times of trials such as COVID19. These people were scammers in opinion. Thankfully, we did not need to sell or we would have given these fine folks quite the gift. We saw people come and each one given a song and dance. It was too shady.
