My Name is Maritza Velez and my email is [protected]@hotmail.com. I summited all the documentation by email to begin the process to one apartment because they sent me an email to do this . It is valid until April 22, 2021 and then the Manager who do this process sent me two emails that I didn't send documentation that I sent already. I am very interesting in this apartment I don't want to loose this opportunity because she is very nasty with me and gave me the impression that she wants that I loose this apartment Please I hope for your help with my application.

    WinnCompaniesChronic rats heating repairs issues

    Repeated repairs for the same/new issues, rats gets on the bed with your kids, electrical heating issues, no one cares about the tenants here. Constant flooding/backups, chronic black mold, mildew in many apts. You complain over and over but nothing is done in a timely or proper matter.. Use companies they don't check out, use paint that seems to disappear over time so that stain, etc. Comes back sooner or later.. Poor air quality, fumes from cigarettes, other stuff, car fumes, etc. Kids and adults damaging the property, chronic dogs and cats... Urinating. Fecal in halls, entry doors that should be locked are unlocked and accessable to drug dealers near your children.. Fire hazords, safety for elderly and disabled tenants... All the owner cares about is the rent, not that you are happy safe in your apts. Tenants throw trash everywhere even in the halls.. Tenants have asked to have apts, painted over 10 plus years, won't do anything... Not a priority to them. They don't have to live here so it's not important to them... Hud doesn't hold them accountable either, no fines, or stop rent payments to them until they meet all codes and violations met... No one does anything or do unannounced inspections to catch these people... The owner never comes here he is in mass. You can't talk with him about anything, he doesn't waste his time with your concerns at all. Too good to be bothered. This is unacceptable conduct something needs to be done asap to help tenants who are afraid or so tired of trying to speak up for themselves.. You hear tenants arguing with them all the time. No one fights for our justice, they are very dishonest, and deceitful to the public so won't see this, got to look good for the public saying they care about the tenants... Maintenance can go in your apt. With the key anytime without notice to you, they steal go thru drawers, other personal belongings, damage your belongings no one cares, they take locks off peoples door, charge you 85. To get your apt. Even on a saturday when you go out.. How is that right to do to someone??? Where are rights???

        Please be mindful for families who struggle with Winn's companies. Respect is the key and help each others who are facing a difficult time. Money is not every thing.

        I am a mother with 3 children, I never experience a company who treats their tenants like a piece of trash. There a rules for living in a apartment, development and ETC. The attorneys who represent the company should live in one of the Winn's' development or apartment. I am a respectable person, but when you treat my family and I like our rights doesn't matter, this is when an organization steps up and fight for our rights & dignity, as well as our neighbors. The corrupted attorneys who pays the court system to dismiss a case should go to a court in the neighborhood. The next time I bring a matter to court, it will be in Dorchester or Roxbury court. The attorneys got to comfortable in the housing court. See you soon!

        I think the President of the company should send out a residents survey to each of the developments to see how many complaints they have experienced while living in one of the apartment or development.

        Most of the property managers and the assistant property manager are Hispanic as well as the maintenance supervisor. Most of them can't speak English, when you go to the office, they will speak in their language while looking at you at the same time. Also, I noticed, when the management sends out memo regarding the rules of parking, cook-out using grill next to the apartment, subletting, its seems like it only toward the other race. This company should really be diverse with other race. Many of the families noticed the same issues that is around Dorchester areas. Another issues, there are some undocumented residents in the apartments. It was mentioned that the compliance office has a Hugh part of it.
