We bought windows from Window World in 2008. Everything was fine until recently when one of the windows wouldn't stay open. We reached out to Window World for help and in just two days, Chris, the technician, came and fixed the issue right away. It was great to deal with a company that actually stands by their warranty without any fuss. I would give them 5 stars, but hey, nobody's perfect. I highly recommend them.

I signed a contract for a new front door and sliding door on May 19. It's now August 25, and no work has been done yet. Window World hasn't provided any updates at all. I've called multiple times to get updates, but each time I'm told that the installer will contact me. Unfortunately, I have to wait on hold for more than ten minutes before getting that response. I should have known better than to choose Window World. I had previously hired them to replace my small basement windows and soffit on my garage, and I went through the same experience of no updates and the work being completed months later than promised.

Window World was supposed to come to our house on 7/24 at 9 a.m. to give us an estimate for new windows. But at 10 a.m., nobody had shown up yet. So I called their office to ask what was going on. They called their worker and told him to call us and let us know where he was. He called and said they never told him to come here, but he could be here in 20-25 minutes if that was okay. We said it was fine. But then, an hour later, still no sign of them. This is a really bad way to do business. Now I understand why they only have a 2-star rating on ComplaintsBoard.com. I wish I had known that before I called them.

In October , we ordered a new front door, side lights, and storm door from Window World of Kentuckiana. They said it would take 6-8 weeks to complete, but it's been five whole months and we haven't heard a peep from them. We've been bugging them every two weeks for the past six weeks, asking for an update, and all they keep saying is that the door is done and ready to be put on a truck. Today, they gave me the same old story once again. They even promised that a manager would call me, but I'm not holding my breath. It's been since October and they've been sitting on our $3,500 deposit this whole time.

We got new windows put in and they don't look good at all. I talked to Window World of Kentuckiana and they said they shouldn't look like this. They came back to fix it, but it still looked the same when they left. The guys who installed them said the salesman didn't measure right, but the boss says he did. The stuff they put on the outside looks awful, and the metal work looks even worse. Inside, I lost an inch and a half of space, so my fancy blinds don't fit anymore. We tried talking to the big bosses and the owner, but we can't get anywhere.
