I recently underwent surgery and while I was at the hair salon, I realized that my car was missing. Panicked, I immediately contacted the facility to inquire about my car's whereabouts. Unfortunately, the staff I spoke to, particularly Linda, was unhelpful and repeatedly hung up on me. Despite my attempts to explain that my purse was inside the car and all the necessary information was also in there, Linda insisted that the car was not on the premises. However, when I personally visited the facility, I saw that my car was indeed there. It's incredibly frustrating because I am unable to retrieve my car due to my purse being locked inside, which contains all the essential information.

On July 1st, 2022, I visited a friend at an apartment complex. This was my third time visiting, and I parked in the same spot as before. When I entered the complex, I noticed that the front gates were open, allowing anyone to come in. I found an available parking spot without any visible signs indicating that parking was prohibited. Since I had parked there twice before without any issues, I assumed it was fine. I went up to my friend's apartment, and within 10 to 15 minutes, I returned to find my car missing. Initially, I thought it had been stolen, so I immediately went to the front office to inform the managers and planned to call the police to report a stolen vehicle on their property. However, their response shocked me. They rudely told me that my car wasn't stolen but had been towed because I had made a mistake by parking there. They even went as far as calling me a "stupid [censored]." I was taken aback and asked them where it was stated that I couldn't park there. I mentioned that the gates were wide open when I entered, and they responded by saying that the gates are always open during business hours. I pointed out that there were no signs anywhere in the apartment complex indicating that parking was not allowed, especially not where I had parked. They continued to argue with me, insisting that there were signs everywhere, but I knew they were wrong. I even had pictures to prove it, and I brought witnesses back to the complex to verify the absence of signs. Despite all this, my car was towed within 9 minutes. This caused a significant inconvenience as I rely on my car for work, and I couldn't even use it that night. To make matters worse, the towing company charged me an exorbitant amount of money to retrieve my car. Their behavior was incredibly rude, and it was frustrating that they hid behind a black brick wall, making it impossible to see them. They didn't even accompany me back to my car; instead, they brought it out half a mile away on a street where they couldn't be seen by the time I arrived. This whole situation feels unjust and possibly even illegal. I hesitate to use the term "racketeering," but it seems like the apartment complex and the towing company may be working together. I have also filed a complaint against the apartment complex for their involvement in this matter. I demand a refund for the money I paid to retrieve my car, and I want them to address the damage caused to my front wheels, which were locked during the towing process.
