I had a transaction with Chima's Towing on April 8. I paid them $360.00 for towing my car from Sacramento to Elk Grove. However, they didn't do their job properly. Instead of taking my car to the desired location, they took it to their office. To make matters worse, they even threatened me for the money. It's disappointing that they haven't made any effort to resolve this issue. I don't have an account or order tracking number to provide.

On May 17, Chima's Tow had my van for a few hours. At 4:52p, I paid 290 dollars for my 2000 Sienna Toyota. The van's battery was dead. As staff pushed my vehicle, it got scratched on the passenger side. My father informed me about this, as no staff mentioned it. I went to the office to discuss the matter with the management, hoping for a quick resolution that would satisfy both parties. Unfortunately, I was verbally attacked by two staff members. The first person, an older male named ***, yelled at me and brushed me off, claiming I owed him money and telling me to leave. The second person, an older lady at the front desk (whose name I didn't get), joined in on the aggression. I couldn't get my issue resolved. I was shocked by the disrespect, rudeness, and unprofessionalism displayed. All I want is for this issue to be resolved and for the company to address their customer service. Chimas towed my sister's vehicle after it got stolen and the police found it in Elk Grove. I've been trying to figure out when they sold the car and for how much. My probate attorney has also been trying to get this information because any money left after paying for the tow and storage should go to the estate. The car was bought around February for more than $10K. According to Kelly Blue Book, the car was worth over $8K. But Chimas said it was only worth less than $4K. I think they undervalued it on purpose and I just want Chimas to show me proof of who they sold the car to and for how much. If they did sell it for more than the tow fee and storage (they said it was $3870 in a letter to my sister's address), then the estate should get some money. By the way, my sister passed away in October and the car was stolen from her garage in December . I'm her brother and I couldn't become the estate administrator until March because of Covid and court delays. I also don't live in CA, so I couldn't go to the tow yard to get the vehicle since I wasn't the official owner or administrator yet.
