Whalen Furniture I tried to contact the company 'bout two broken pieces I got for my chairs

I tried to contact the company 'bout two broken pieces I got for my chairs. I emailed 'em two weeks ago, but they ain't respondin'. The company just makes ya sit on hold for hours and don't reply to emails. Now I got 2 outta 6 chairs I can't return or put together. I need 'em to send me two replacement seats to my house.

Whalen Furniture I recently purchased a Whalen fireplace from Menards, but unfortunately, it came without some parts

I recently purchased a Whalen fireplace from Menards, but unfortunately, it came without some parts. To my dismay, there are no other Menards stores in my area that carry this product, so returning it is not an option. I contacted the manufacturer, but all I got were voicemails and no callbacks. Furthermore, when I finally managed to speak with someone from customer service, they informed me that they don't have any spare parts available. It's frustrating that I can't talk to anyone else besides leaving a message, and even then, I receive no response. The model number of the fireplace is MNFP60PV26BK.

Whalen Furniture I bought a Bayside 7 piece dining set on Jan 23rd from a store in my town

I bought a Bayside 7 piece dining set on Jan 23rd from a store in my town. Everything was great, but part L doesn't fit into part I. In part I, there's only a hole and nothing to hold it. Please see the picture below of part I where the groove is missing the piece that can hold part L. I asked for a replacement, and I received one with a curved leg, but mine is more like an X.

I bought the *** Fireplace console with white finish from *** on 11/24/2022. It was supposed to be new. We opened the box on 12/4 and were getting ready to put it together when we realized that a part was missing. The instructions said not to contact the store, but to contact Whalen for missing parts. I've called a bunch of times and sent an email, but I can't get through to anyone and they haven't responded to my email. I paid $205.26 for this as a Christmas gift for my parents. I feel like I've been scammed. *** is trying to help me with the seller, but people should really be careful with this company.

I bought a 55in *** Stand from *** on Saturday, January 23. When I was putting it together, I noticed that part C (Back Top Frame) had incorrect drilling and tapping on the right side. Because of this, I couldn't complete the assembly. I tried calling, but all I got was a busy dial tone. So, I decided to email the company, but I haven't received a response yet. Today, on January 26, I tried calling again. Finally, I got through, but there were 4 callers ahead of me. I have been waiting as "caller number 0" for the past 42 minutes and counting. While waiting, I decided to call from another phone. Initially, I was caller number "12," but as I type this, I am currently caller "number 8." However, I still haven't reached an actual operator as "caller number 0."

Whalen Furniture I bought the Thomasville *** from *** in ***, ** on 2/2

I bought the Thomasville *** from *** in ***, *** on 2/2. While assembling the bed, I noticed it was missing the support legs for the bed slats. The *** hubs on both sides of the headboard were also not working. I called Whalen the next day and was told someone would call me back within a couple days. After not hearing from the company for four days, I called back and was told again that someone would call me back. It has been more than two weeks since my initial contact and I've called customer service four times to hear the same story - someone will call you back soon. The customer service at this company is atrocious. I am now faced with having to disassemble the bed, renting a truck, and driving it over to *** for a refund.

Whalen Furniture I bought a *** Media Fireplace Console from *** online

I bought a *** Media Fireplace Console from *** online. After assembling it and turning it on, there was no heat. We waited for over an hour, but still no heat. When we tried to turn it off, it wouldn't respond, so we had to unplug it. We were instructed not to return it to ***. According to their use and care guide, if you have any questions or need service for your fireplace/heater unit, don't go back to the store where you bought it. Instead, contact our *** with all your information ready. So, I did that in January. However, they keep giving me different explanations, and most of the time, I can't reach anyone on the phone. Now they're telling me I have to wait 14 weeks for a replacement part, even though I already paid for this thing in January.

On January 15, I sent an email to the company to let them know that the varnish on the table was coming off in a few areas, even though I had only wiped it with a soft cloth. They finally responded on March 10 with a reference number and this note: reference # ***. Sadly, the Table Top is currently on back order, and they estimate a wait time of 10 to 12 weeks. After waiting for 12 weeks, I emailed them again and received a response today. They said we could return it to *** It has been way past the time that Costco would accept returns due to waiting for the company: *** Sales Support To: *** Sent: Wednesday, June 23, 09:28:06 AM PDT Subject: RE: Bayside Furnishings *** Email | Hello ***, Unfortunately, we are still waiting for a replacement. We don't have a specific date for when we will receive more, so this could take another *** weeks or maybe even longer.

Whalen Furniture I bought Whalen's TV Stand, Model # XL44/XL44E from *** in December

I bought Whalen's TV Stand, Model # XL44/XL44E from *** in December. When I put it together on January 2, I noticed that part D was faulty. The bolts fit on one side but not the other. I emailed Whalen as instructed in the manual to ask for a replacement. When I didn't hear back from them by Monday, I emailed them again and filled out their customer care form on their website. On Tuesday, 1/5, I tried calling the number on their website, but the call kept dropping and I couldn't get through. The phone line seemed broken. I checked the ComplaintsBoard.com (ComplaintsBoard.com) and found a San Diego number for them. After calling that number, I finally got connected to someone. I told them about my emails, and they asked me to wait while they checked. They came back and said they found my email and that they would ship the part. They said I would receive an email notification. I got the email on 1/6 and got the part on 1/11. I didn't open it until 1/16 and realized it was the wrong part. I sent another email asking for a refund or for the correct part to be sent overnight. No response. On 1/21, I used the website to ask for a call or a replacement part. I also called the San *** I waited on hold for two and a half hours and then got disconnected when I was next in line to be helped. This is not acceptable.

Whalen Furniture I bought a Avionna 65in fireplace from ***

I bought a Avionna 65in fireplace from ***. They delivered it to me without all the parts. I called them right away to let them know. After many phone calls, they finally told me it would take *** weeks to get the missing part. I was annoyed but just wanted my missing part, so I accepted what they offered. After waiting for about 8 weeks and still not receiving the part, I contacted *** again for an update. They reached out to the manufacturer, which is Whalen furniture. After many frustrating calls and delays, they finally emailed me saying it would take another 12 weeks to get the part. I asked why they couldn't just take the part from another fireplace, but they said they couldn't do that. Then in the next email, they suggested sending me a middle panel from another unit. I was confused why they would take a middle panel instead of the panel I needed. In the next email, they offered to compensate me with money instead of sending the replacement part, but that didn't make sense to me. I emailed them again to explain that I didn't buy the item "as is," so why would that be acceptable now? They haven't responded to me since then. I contacted *** again to reopen my case. They are currently trying to fix the problem. Whalen has terrible customer service and doesn't care about the inconvenience they caused me. *** shouldn't be associated with a company that can't fulfill their promises and provide the care and assistance their customers paid for. I am considering legal action because of how poorly this purchase has been handled. We are in a time where every dollar we spend is a lot, and in this case, spending hundreds is considered an investment.
