service delivery and information
On the 23rd of April 2019 I made a payment transfer while I was speaking to one of your representatives at approximately 12:00 where I was told to make the payment into the account and the money would have been deducted from the capital amount owed to you for my car loan, where it is has been more than two months of the capital amount I transferred of R20 000 ( Your ref: VODSCLGL8CRF) and nothing has been done with the money, I also cancelled a couple of other services I took towards the loan and they refunded the money (R6 012.45) to the account which was added to the Available balance and the total amount then was R26 564 and also where it was just lying there where nothing has been administered. I therefore contacted one of your consultants yesterday the 27th of June where I was told that the money cannot be repaid to me nor can they deduct it from the capital amount owed to you. Which is not correct. I therefore did contact the ombudsman and was told to get a reference number from you for my complaint which I expect to receive soon. I also noticed that a deduction was made from my account obviously because of the installment but according to the account details there was money taken away from the Available balance which I am not sure why and is currently standing on R23 064
Therefore I request that the money gets transferred back to me because obviously no one wants to do their job which I am very upset about and will say that the service I have been receiving is very bad and also very unprofessional, I haven't once received a statement which is also unprofessional. I will be coming to your head office tomorrow and come and see you and I expect a result, as I have been patient enough and can not wait anymore.
motor dealer and finance house involved
Clifford hage - the owner of honsha financial services purchased a 2012 ford focud 2.0 trend powershift from action motors in lenasia which is on finance with wesbank - confirmation of cover for the vehicle was 20/11/2018. Since then, there has been alot of problems with the vehicle which were also made aware to the dealer (action motors).
Ishmael the owner of the dealer advised that on the 12th january 2019 the vehicle should be return for the faults to be checked and fixed according. 2 weeks passed with the vehicle being repaired but upon return of the vehicle, we found that none of the faults with the vehicles have been cleared/fixed hence the clifford hage took the vehicle to a panel beater in midrand to do a proper inspection and service the vehicle. 33 faults reflected on the report hence and the same was advised to the dealer but there no was interest from their side.
R10 000 was paid over to the dealer and victory 7 finance and institution for licencing and administration services. The licence disc was due for being expired on 28/02/2019 - the same was made aware to them that honsha is still awaiting the new licence disc.
We just received an email from ockert who has been dealing with the finance of the ford and he mentions that clifford has to do the new licence disc registration himself as the company is based outside of pretoria.
We are very unhappy and dissatisfied with the services received with both the motor dealer and finance advisers.
Please assist us with this matter as we cannot carry on dealing with them.
car finance declined
Good day,
I would like to ask for assistance in resolving a matter that I believe is on the onus of the Debt Collector Diane Karam from Debtcor Pty Ltd - 1 Floor Oak Place, 264 Oak Avenue, Ferndale, 2194, Randburg (011 78 3570), diane. karam@global.co.za
A settlement amount of R13000.00 was paid to the above mentioned debt collector and I was given a letter that an instruction would be sent to all the credit bureaus in particular Transunion to have my name removed off their naming list. this was the 31/09/18. Mid Jan 2019, I tried to apply for pre-approval for car finance only to be declined, upon investigation I found that Ms Karam had never it seems sent such an instruction, I have since requested her to do so. I am now car-less with a good credit score however declined due to someone else's negligence. I wanted to find out how do I as a consumer escalate this matter so that 1. my name is removed from these listings in order not to get flagged again and 2 to get approval. Unfortunately I do not have the luxury of months for this matter to be resolved. I've banked with FNB for over 15 years so it's beyond disheartening that other banks can approve me for finance and not my own bank. any assistance regarding my matter would be appreciated.
Regards
B Naziwa

private finance and car registration
Please advice, guide or assist me!
We bought a car last year Oct through private finance at Wesbank.
4 months later, the car is still not registered at Wesbank. We are still not the owners of the car and Wesbank is still not the title holders of the car...
We have paid 3 payments to Wesbank already, I have fines for driving without a valid licence disc and number plates.
I don't understand how I must pay Wesbank for a vehicle that is not even registerd at Wesbank?
If I don't pay, what are they going to do...? They can't come and collect the car because the car doesn't belong to them...? If they black list me, at least I am done with Wesbank...
I also don't understand how Wesbank allows its customers to drive without a valid licence disc and number plate for four months...
Isn't that dangerous, isn't that illegal, do I even have insurance...? What does Wesbank care, we must just pay...
In 4 months you must understand that I have phoned hundreds of minutes to Wesbank customer care, a ton of emails. The agent who approved the sales don't want anything to do with me when I phone him and his "team leader" is permanently on leave...
In this 4 months, no email, no phone call, no communication what so ever has been done from Wesbank to us...
I have been to their offices at Beyers Naude, twice. I had to take leave from work, twice. But for no reason as nobody seems to care or able to assist me.
That's why I am reviewing here, hoping somebody can advise, guide or assist me in this situation.
Kind regards.
car finance
I'm not sure whether my case is an exception or is the way Westbank does business. I was financed with Westbank in October of 2016 when I bought a car. Unfortunately I lost my job following the purchase of a new car. With the hope that I was going to secure a job soon and get back to my feet, I was reluctant to quickly give up or surrender the car.
I was behind on installments. To cut a long story short. This year I was approached by the bank, to surrender the car. I was called by sheriff to give him my current address, so I did and a car was taken. They told me that if I don't pay the balance(arrears) within 20 days after the car was taken I won't be able to claim the car back. Well I didn't make the payment because it was not expensive which they included costs such as breakdown and costs of searching for the car, which I don't even understand. I was than told that my car was going on auction on the 8th of November 2018.
This is where things get weird. I never received a call telling me how much my car was auctioned for and how much is my short fall so that we can strike new terms and conditions for the repayment of the short fall. Instead my loan amount keeps on increasing. To be honest its greedy way of doing business because you continuously charging me interest and penalties on the item that you already taken away from me. Please advice me or a legal root is a better way to approach this issue.

service
I received car finance from Westbank and when I bought my car I was told that my last payment is the 7 August 2018 then it was extended due to arreas to 07 November 2018. I don't get statements anymore every time I must send email to Melita Cloete to receive one and what I am getting from her does not look right the statement does not have the contract amount the balance.
The balance is written at the bottom on the email I paid an amount of R6 700.00on the 25 October 2018 and he said balance was R19 450.32 -2.91 instalments behind . and a note that I should surrender my vehicle to be sold on auction.
Requested the statement again on the 14 November 2018 the balance was now different went up to R26 466 .51 and she now wrote I fell behind with 3.96 how ? No idea
She promised to send me a settlement letter I requested on the 31 October 2018 I still haven't received.
Can someone please help me cause talking to them they just push that. Person must sign VTN papers to come fetch the car

service plan refund
In January, I cancelled service plan with 360 Plus of which they confirmed.
I then contacted Liquid Finance as directed by the above mentioned company to ask them to stop deducting the money from my car instalment, they confirmed that they paid the amount of R6732.62 on 22 March 2018 to Wesbank. I contacted both these company (Liquid Finance and Wesbank) with no response. Basically, I'm paying for the service plan that I won't benefit from. I asked Liquid Finance to send proof to Wesbank, but they said they can't. Please help me solve this with immediate effect as I can't take another service plan elsewhere. The amount is included in my car finance with Wesbank.
Hoping to hear from you soon.

requesting a copy of a natus document
On 27 September 2018 i have requested by phone and email for a copy of the NATUS document because the original doc got lost.
I send the proof of payment on 27/09/18.
On 05/10/18 Wesbank send me an email to request the physical address for delivery of this document, and i replied by email on the same day.
On 09/10/18 Wesbank send me an email to say that they already send this doc on the 06/10/2014 - ! 2014 ! I would not request a copy if i still had the original!
Today 31/10/18 i still did not received the requested NATUS document.

finance application
I'm 2016 I bought a car financed through VWFS by WesBank, in June 2018 this year my car got written off. The insurance company paid what was due to them; unfortunately I had insured it on market value (bad idea). The difference was however covered (not entirely also) by IUA (think it's Holland) which is a shortfall cover.
After the shortfall was paid, I still got applications for a new vehicle declined, reasons being my ITC was reflecting an outstanding amount which is was still high making it almost impossible for me to be able to acquire a new vehicle. I did eventually get WesBank to update my credit status with the ITC even though it was an uphill climb, being told of lengthy periods of time for ITC to update consumers' credit status.
I have recently got back to applying for finance again, still declining. Now the issue is that; I didn't conduct my loan transaction period positively, because before my insurance made their payment to the bank, they had debited my installment which I decided to reverse four days after, not to mention that insurance made their payment three days before which was informed by the settlement letter they had been given by the finance company, which had included that installment at the time the insurance requested it.
I find it absurd how the payment from my insurance is not considered a payment from me the consumer, it's essentially an extension of the consumer in this regard. Now they have tagged me as a bad creditor and this is causing a serious problem with finance approvals, even from other financial institutions and if they do consider me, it's only subject to a very high interest rate.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
collection services, I required the outstanding balance.
I made a call earlier today on behalf of my mother in law. I am an attorney by profession. She informs me that she received a call for repossession of her vehicle. The reason for my call was to find out the outstanding amount and as to how much should be paid to avoid the repossession.
The agent who receive my call started by saying Azwindini, i presume that is her name. she was very rude and in fact harassed me.
I would like this to be investigated urgently, while we are provided with details as to how much is the arrears that need to be paid to avoid repossession.
If the matter is not dealt with within 48 Hours I will proceed to report to the ombudsman.
One was financed for Mercedes C200 in 2015, from that time VAP was included in the installment even though one had his own insurance IWYZE and this excellerated premium as such, furthermore at times they send messages quoting the account number of the previously paid up C180. Finally the account is [protected]. Residential area is 41 Erica Street Sunnyside Pretoria. Of now the car is insured Auto and General.. Thanks for your intervention
been declined for finance..

needing information from wesbank and being transferred to 100 different departments
I am an attorney, who is representing the Executor of a deceased estated known as E/L Mkhize. The account number with Wesbank is [protected]. The deceased died in 2013 and there was still an amount outstanding on the Land Rover financed with Wesbank. Then Mr Mbele took the Land Rover without any permission and drove it. He had an accident in the motor vehicle. Someone from Wesbank then assessed the Land Rover and recorded it as "written off". I require the details of the assessor who assessed the vehicle, so that I can subpoena them to court in my trial against Mr Mbele, who unlawfully took the Land Rover and now owes the estate money as a result of that. Please can someone contact me and explain whether it is possible for me to get the details of the assessor in 2013. Thank you
unlawful repossession of a vehicle
Wesbank repossessed my Late Father's Volkwagen Crafter unlawfully and Forcefully. The people came to our house and threatened my mother (Paulina Ledile Sekele of ID: [protected]) with Towing of the vehicle or she could Sign documents that states that Wesbank will keep the Vehicle in Safe keeping until the Diseased estate is resolved by the High Court, which my mother signed.
finance
I had a car that was financed at wesbank. the car was written off in a accident and my insurance paid out for the car but there was a shortfall.
i phoned in and was given 2 options of paying this shortfall no1 is to continue paying as i did monthly or no 2 was to pay 50% of my original installment.
i chose to take option no2 as i needed another car to go to work and so on.
i paid for 4 months never late. i got my credit report and on it was wesbank listing the full shortfall as in arears and ruining my name instantly.
why does wesbank not explain the choices they give clients have consequences?
why list me as non paying or in arrears if im honoring the agreement?
Very bad bank and i will not recommend it to my worst enemy!
i will never recommend wesbank to anybody unless you are dealing with one specific person or else you will run in circles, nobody is prepared to help. excuses like working from home, short staff because of the lockdown. the consultants will ask for your account number and telephone number but will never get back to you, be it via email or a call.
come to the party wesbank because you never failed to debit my account even during the lockdown but now that my vehicle has been paid up then i must go in circles to get my natis.
most disgusting service that i have ever experienced with a bank compared to my bank Absa, i get excellent service.
unfair payment of car finance
I received car finance from Westbank and when I bought my car I was told that my last payment is the 31st August 2018. I recently received an email which was sent through to Westbank saying that I would be in debt for R50 000 which needs to be paid to the bank or my car would've to be refinanced again. I called in to get clarity and was told that I have to pay back R50 000 or to take my car back or refinance. I couldn't understand why I was not told about this. I tried to ask if I can make arrangements to pay off the R50 000 back on a monthly basis because I cannot afford to pay R50 000 in cash. I feel that this is a rip-off because we are being forced to stay in debt for the banks for all our lives. I've paid for this car for years and I thought I was done paying for it and it can now belong to me but it won't because I am being forced to take another car and stay in debt. I called the Bank Ombudsman and they requested that I sent through a mail and I must wait for the outcome. I even asked to make arrangements to pay on a monthly basis but I was told to pay cash or my car is taken.
Hi. I applied for car at one of the dealerships in Capetown and later the same day I received a message from Wesbank saying my application will be processed, that was the 3rd of this month now I wonder how long does it really take them to finalize things.
restructuring deal/ or extension of payment period
Good day
It is with my humblest approach to be witting this letter to you. I have been trying to contact wesbank about this matter on several occasions and I have not received any satisfactory reply as far as my plea is concerned. I am going to present a brief scenario of what had transpired on the day I traded-in my vihicle on february 2018, I was approached by a "spotter" from autorama motors in klersdorp who introduced himself as a salesperson so we had a chat about trade-in on my previous vehicle which was a 2013 polo 1.4 trendline for a 2015 1.2 polo tsi, so yes the deal went on to be processed and the guy promised that i'll only pay an installment of r4000 so I should'nt worry he will talk to the bank consultant and they will give me a comfortable deal, that never happenned and I am now stuck with a heavy debt and a super heavy installment as far as my monthly earning is concerned, for me it does not make sense to pay half of my earnings for a motor vehicle, and I do have other monthly expenses which I handle alone because my wife does not work anymore. I would like to request wesbank to make an offer of restructuring the deal for me to can pay less installment or perhaps extend my repayment period so that I can at least pay around r4000 instalment.
I sincerely hope that my request will be given a consideration.
Your loyal client,
T. Mokoto

good day.
I Bought this motorbike by KCR in Kempton Park on the 25th of Mei.
I live in Cape Town so I flew up to collect the motorbike and i drove all the way down.
i wanted to sell this bike cause i can make a profit from it, but now seeing the problems on it i will not be able to sell it.
So yesterday afternoon i washed the motorbike and on a close inspection i found that the fairings on this bike is aftermarket fairings, and first thing that comes to mind is that this motorbike was involved in an accident and it was cheaply repaired.
The fairings that are on here are ZXMT you can look on the internet and you will find aftermarket fairings.
And the problem with aftermarket fairings is that nothing fits 100% and I dont like it at all it looks bad.
application gone wrong / rude arrogant customer and pathetic service
dear all
Please sort your pathetic mess out which is as follows :
Direct axis part of the first rand group - had me listed on the bad risk profile and forgot to update my risk profile when I settled my account in 2011. Please forward a letter dated today the 28 may 2018 of the mistake noted above which impacted my credit application. Spoke to a consultant by the name of mona in the legal division who said : "I am changing the risk profile now.. Give it 2 business days and go back to wesbank however if you applied with anyone else they would not have picked this up"
Wesbank - I already complained to hello peter and will take it further due to the pathetic manner in which your consultant spoke to me today.
Nhlanahla sumolani had the nerve to say go phone direct axis and found out what you did and when I said I do not have an account he had the nerve to say and I quote "I am telling you you have one"
Look at the manner in which the email is constructed below unhealthly - I have a disposable income of r10 000 monthly which I transfer to my credit card to earn interest. Wake up westbank you may have been around for 40 years but you will be going no way in the future with the manner in which you treat applications
Premier banking fnb - this division is only a name as I had to seek assistance myself and what the hell am I paying r199 and more for
Could not even assist me to get car finance.
incompetency handling financing
I find it extremely disheartening that the only way to get some form of response from this company is to blast it on social media or online! once again was hounded from your team to get what you needed for someone to buy my car through finance, once you got all needed documents we have NOT heard one word or had one response since, wait for it,
21 APRIL!
I need to sell my car, I can not physically or financially wait any longer as I have already left the country 2 weeks ago now.
How on earth do you run a corporation like this? How is the buyer suppose to purchase my car if Claudia Louw, the consultant, has not responded to them in almost a month!
What is wrong with this company? Your employees are so shocking, I went through the exact same thing when I purchased the car!
Once I had given them everything they needed, it took almost 2 months for the consultant to process the application, and it only ended up happening as I caused a major scene!
I would like to hear from her manager FIRST THING monday morning to get an apology and a reason as to why we have had zero responses and why this is taking so long! In two minds to not move our business elsewhere
