Werner Enterprises Driver

Driver took an hour and 20 minutes to set up conveyer which eventually fell and never got put back up. My stock crew had to unload most of the truck because the driver was "tired". Whenever he left us all together to go walk his dog i went and explained that it was not our job to unload his truck, in fact its against our policy to step foot in his truck. He then proceeded to call me a very profane name.

Werner Enterprises Driver

On Thursday, July 08, 2021, I was traveling Southbound on S. Blount St. at 3:02 PM. As I approached the intersection of S. Blount Street, Hammond Road, and Hoke Street, a semi-trailer vehicle ignored a red light and entered the intersection while making a right hand turn onto Hammond Road. I was among several vehicles approaching the intersection at about 35 MPH and could clearly see that traffic in my direction of travel had a clear green light evident from first viewing it while approaching the intersection. I could not veer left to avoid the semi-trailer since the leftmost lane was occupied by another vehicle. Fortunately I braked hard enough to avoid a collision but all of my compressed gas cylinders were scattered in the back of the van by the sudden attempt to avoid a collision. Clearly this semi-trailer operator should have his Commercial Driving License questioned. Trailer 362434

Desired outcome: Determine if this driver should retain a CDL

Werner Enterprises Driving

On I-55 near Springfield, Illinois there is lots of construction going on around the exit for Sangamon Avenue(June 20, 2021 around 11:30pm). The speed limit in the construction goes from 70 to 55 then down to 45. This is a one lane across a bridge so I have no choice but to go 70 through a 45 because truck #364761 would not slow down and almost ran me over. This truck also did 70-75 through the whole 5 miles of construction. I was not pleased with how fast this truck was going because of him almost running me over from behind.

Desired outcome: SLOW DOWN IN CONSTRUCTION ZONES

Werner Enterprises Drivers

We were in the slow lane doing the speed limit. Werner driver tail gate us. Flash us and puts his signal for us to go into the emergency lane. It's dangerous to go into the emergency lane just so he can pass us. He couldn't go into the last lane because there was a car there. We just stayed in the slow lane. He didn't like that so he stated to try and pass us in the emergency lane. He back off then got behind us and started to serve a over the place. Road construction was coming up and the lane merged into one so he decided that he would try to sped up and then try to cut us off. He didn't make it so again started to swerve back and fourth. He finally got a chance to pass us abs proceeded to sit beside us and blocking the fast lane. Got his truck number which is 378950

Werner Enterprises Tractor number 47634

At approximately 4:15 p.m. Central standard Time while traveling eastbound on i-64 just a few miles east of St Louis Missouri, truck 47634 was driving very recklessly through semi-congested traffic. The driver was making erratic lane changes without signaling and also dodging into other occupied lanes attempting to force vehicles out so he could proceed through the traffic.

Werner Enterprises Cut me off

I was on I-5 northbound when your truck didn't bother to check his mirrors. Yes his turn signal was on, and yes he was moving over for a vehicle on the side of the road but they created a larger hazard. Slowing down would have been the proper solution

Werner Enterprises Truck driver encounter

Myself and children were driving down I-276W last Saturday 4/3/21 approximately 5pm. I notice a Werner truck not able to keep his lane. This is a 3 lane small highway so no one appeared to want to pass. He did this swerving for miles. Approaching a rest area in "King of Prussia" I'm in the lane ready to merge on the exit and driver cuts me off last min to also exit rest area and takes my mirror with him. When I approached him to make him aware, he cursed at me numerous times in front of my kids, refused to give me any info about him, middle finger and hit my back window as I tried to leave. Mind you, I never exited my car since he was a man, a lot bigger than me and I was alone with my kids. I'm assuming he didn't want to report this to his employer since he refused to give me any info. Contacted Werner but they don't seem too concerned with the drivers behavior rather just my broken mirror. This guy doesn't belong on anyone's road. He scared the life out of my kids with his behavior and unsafe driving. I really think he took advantage of me being a female alone with my children in regards to his behaviors. My kids and I are not used to being around folks that behave that way. Unfortunately I couldn't collect a truck number but he had his badge hanging and we caught I'm assuming an employee ID. Hopefully Werner takes this seriously. It's not only about the mirror but you have someone who represents your company behaving in this manner in public. My plan if nothing is done is to also take my story public. No one deserves to be treated in this way by anyone especially someone who is on their job. My kids are not petrified to be around trucks.

Desired outcome: Reprimand this driver for his behaviors and make him accountable for his actions as any other employer would if someone behaved in this manner on their job.

Werner Enterprises Wrongful termination/ Unethical behavior

On Tuesday, 3/30/2021, I was terminated from my job with Werner trucking. the reason given was because I 3 incidents during my driving time with them. These incidents were very minor and one was not properly investigated. When I began to work with Werner I was given a designated family dollar account. I was sent on 28 day training for over the road training. When I returned I was given 1 day of training on the family dollar account. I was then sent to work picking up and loading and unloading shipments. 1 day of training was not enough. So while in Louisiana I backed into a family dollar and ran over a grass area of a bank. it was difficult to back in and it was not a large area. A complaint was filed but the investigation was done with google maps instead of someone actually going to see what I was attempting to explain. I was call a liar. The other 2 incidents I accepted full responsibility for. I knocked the tip of a pole off at a family dollar in Jacksonville Florida. Then as I was backing out and slightly damaged the truck. There was no property damage ever done other than the grass and the small damage to the truck which was fixed with little effort. My problem is I was not trained properly to do this job and was expected to do the job without mistakes. I am a new CDL truck driver and I wanted a fair chance to pursue my new career. I do not believe I was given a fair chance with Werner. Before they terminated me they decided to do a background check on me and it was explained to me that they wanted to see if I was lying about anything else. When it came back that I had no record I was told that "yes, we see that you have no criminal record but you have had 3 incident so we have to fire you per the head office in Omaha." I felt that this was done because I am a young black man. A background check should have been done before I was hired. The gentleman had already stated that he wanted to make sure I wasn't lying about anything else. I'm sure they also saw in the background check that I am a veteran. Then I had to have my father to drive to the terminal from Pensacola Florida to get me. They did not want to immediately get me back home.

Desired outcome: I simply want the incidents removed from my record so that I can go and work for a company that will properly train me to be successful in my new career. Any and all back pay for me I want.

Werner Enterprises low miles

This is Marc Johnson driver #583467. On Friday January 3rd, 2020 I got a preassingned load message at 1003 hrs going to Laredo, TX with 1, 825 miles being loaded on January 4th at 0600. At 1245 hrs that load was removed. At 1317 I got the same load info for the second preassigned load going to Laredo, TX with 1, 825 miles. Difference was being loaded by 1700 hrs. I got done unloading at Walmart DC in Pottsville, PA at 1536 with 25 miles to drive to the shipper. That preassigned load got removed at 1533 hrs. A little over an hour at 1640 I got a new preassigned load going to Gas City, IN with 561 miles. 2 preassigned loads removed in the same day which never happens and I'm getting very low miles lately. I been sitting in the same area for days after my 34 hr reset. I believe my miles among other drivers are not the same and we should all be treated equally.

Werner Enterprises driver with no clue how to drive

We drove for 18 miles down interstate 20 behind one of your trucks. The truck was in the left lane going 60 miles per hour beside another truck with an oversized load. The oversized load had to slow down in order to be in compliance with texas driving code. When we were finally able to go around your truck we saw that the driver was unbuckled and also on her cell phone. I'm not sure the truck number but the trailer number was 57892. The driver was 50 miles on the west side of weatherford texas east bound on interstate 20.

Werner Enterprises unsafe driver, ran red light at 42rd ave and lower buckeye roads

Photo of truck attached. At approximately 150 PM on Nov 25, 2019 the truck identified in photo by identification number on trailer ran a red light on 43rd Ave and Lower Buckeye heading west on Lower Buckeye road. If not had been the decision of driver heading south on 43rd Ave would have been hit on driver side. The light was not yellow, it was red, and based upon speed limit would believe driver was speeding. Photo taken and as I passed the cab of the truck the driver smoking a cigarette little regard for safety. Making you aware of potential safety risk with driver.

Werner Enterprises driver

On 11/13/19 I stopped at Loves truck stop in Socorro Tx to fuel. It was very busy and I got in line behind your truck #72993. He pulled up to the pump and then sat in truck over 15 mins before starting to fuel. Then after putting hoses in tanks he got on his phone and stood by pump talking on the phone for over 45 mins. Not only is this extremely rude and inconsiderate but it is also very unsafe. I'm sure you don't approve of your drivers actions and hope you address this

Werner Enterprises safety

This morning at aprox 11:30 I was traveling south on Victory Highway bringing my 5yr old granddaughter to afternoon PreK when a Werner tractor trailer pulled off 146 south using the North Smithfield Victory Hwy exit turning left to travel south on victory highway. He barely came to a stop at the end of his exit. He cut off my vehicle causing me to slam on my brakes nearly getting hit in the rear of my vehicle by the SUV behind me. The driver then ran the red light at School st and again at St.Paul St tragfic light he ran the red again at this time for safety I turned left onto St.Paul street.
I am contacting you directly to avoid any negative publicity for your company I would like confirmation that this email has been received and action has been taken or I will not hesitate to go public with this so everyone is aware to be on the look out for unsafe Werner drivers.
I have attached photos of the rear of trailer including license plate number along with screenshot of GPS location where photo was taken.

Werner Enterprises unprofessional driver

While traveling on the I-15 Northbound through Las Vegas a driver with a trailer from Family Dollar trailer number 54141 ran a vehicle off of the road. Causing him to merge into an HOV lane by no choice of his own. Because the driver decided to switch lanes while the vehicle was right next to him. After traveling about another mile the driver merges back to the center lane I attempt to pass him and as I am approaching the back end of his trailer he emerges back to the left right in front of me causing me to slam on my brakes while traveling at 70 miles an hour. After he merch back over and I finally had the chance to pass him he rolls down his window and waves and smiles at me and lays on his horn like it was my fault he cut me off. What kind of drivers does this company hire that they are so unprofessional that they don't care about the safety of other motorists on the highway.

Werner Enterprises truck driver.

Who ever is driving down I81 in the 109-118mile marker area in Christiansburg Virginia on 8/15/19, around 8:20am, is an extremely reckless driver! Shes constantly riding someones tail, and god forbid someone tries to merge on the interstate in front of her, she makes it near impossible for them. Shes also going way over the speed limit in a construction zone. I'm all for truckers having road room, but theres no need to be a reckless ricky!

Werner Enterprises reckless texas driver

The male driving today on I-35 in San Antonio was deliberately reckless and intentionally tried to cause an accidental. License 22142M was constantly flicking his lights behind us. We were on the second lane to the right. The traffic was relatively slow on a Sunday so it requires patience. The driver was unhappy with our speed in front of him so he moved to the right of our vehicle. He passed on the right and purposely starting moving his vehicle while on side of us purposely trying to push our vehicle off the lanes. The male driver could have caused a major accident on a major highway. Afterwards he exited off the highway onto I410 in San Antonio, TX. He seems to be impatient and a liability for your firm.
