I purchased a 2013 S60 T5 with 55,000 miles on it in 2022. Seemed like a nice solid car. Until Thanksgiving Day of 2024 when at 90,000 miles the motor started shaking, the check engine light came on. We sent the car to our mechanic and found out that the car we still owed 6 thousand dollars on needed a 6,000 dollar plus motor rebuild. We fixed the car as we really did not have a choice. Since this incident I have been told by multiple Volvo owners and mechanics that this is a common problem with the T5 and that Volvo knows all about it. Disappointed doesn't begin to cover it. I love the looks of the car. Could not be more upset about being ripped off by what used to be an amazing company.
