I have recently returned from Las Vegas (23-27 April)) The trip was a 70th birthday gift for my father the highlight of which was to see ACDC at the Allegiant Stadium. Everything was fine until ACDC took the stage and started playing. The sound was horrendous.Johnson’s voice was almost inaudible and appeared to be cutting in and out while Young’s guitar was overpowered by a heavy bass sound and echo. At first I thought the sound desk would adjust it but nothing changed and you could hardly distinguish the songs. People around us started to moan and halfway through the concert people got up and walked out.
I’m sure that other areas in the stadium had good sound but that is no consolation to me. Surely there were sound checks to ensure good sound throughout the whole stadium and why was there no attempt to improve it during the show.
We were sitting in Section 413, Row 18, Seats 18 & 19.The two tickets cost almost £400.00 and there was nothing to indicate that I had bought tickets in an area that had problems with sound. Under my consumer rights I feel like I have been sold goods that were not fit for purpose.
I look forward to hearing from you.
