Vivid Racing WARNING: Vivid Racing Review - Scamming Customers for Over a Year

Wanted to tell ya'll about my craaazy frustrating experience with Vivid Racing. Honestly, I don't want anyone to go through what I went through so ya'll need to watch out for these guys.

I ordered a front and rear sway bar kit and an ECU tuning upgrade for my ride on April 6th, 2022. And then, the worst thing happened...they just ignored me. Like, how rude is that? I tried to get a tracking number for my order but didn't hear anything for around 3 months. Eventually, they responded with a tracking number but it didn't even work right.

The worst part? They'd just go silent on me a lot of the time. Then, when they did reply, it was just empty promises that they were shipping my stuff out. They said that the sway bar kit was coming, but it never did.

One whole year later, on April 27th, 2023, they emailed me saying they couldn't even ship the thing and refunded me $637.14. Basically, the cost of the sway bar kit minus the $325 I paid for shipping. But seriously, that's not cool. They never shipped the thing so why should I have to pay for shipping, right?

So, I tried to dispute it through PayPal, but they kept stringing me along with false promises about shipping the item until the dispute expired. Like, it's pretty obvious that they knew what they were doing.

Oh, and don't even get me started on their fake customer reviews. They have a 4.7-star rating on their website, but on every other legitimate review site, people are telling a different story. Plus, you can't even leave a review on their website. Like, if that's not sus, then I don't know what is.

Vivid Racing wasted so much of my time and caused me so much stress. They're clearly out here trying to scam people, so my advice to ya'll is to stay away. There are plenty of other legit automotive parts distributors out there that prioritize customer satisfaction and won't try to scam you like these guys did to me. So yeah, save yourself the hassle and avoid Vivid Racing at all costs.

Vivid Racing Vivid Racing's Shady Business Practices and Poor Customer Service: My Experience Returning Braum Falcon X Seats

I wen to Vivid Racing in Arizona on 9/12/22 and got me 2 Braum Falcon X racing seats with mount plates for my 1968 Nova twin turbo build. It cost me $1572.64 which aint cheap, but I wanted something quality. I saw them seats on their website and they were advertised to fit a 40 inch waist, FIA/SFI-certified and perfect for my rollcage install. I was so eager to get my hands on them seats but I didn't get them until 10/25/22 and that was over a month of waiting. It's just not right to have to wait that long, ain't no one got time for that!

So I opened the box, excited to finally get some quality seats, but guess what? They weren’t what was advertised on their website! I was so mad, y'all dont even know. So I had to contact Vivid Racing about my dissatisfaction and they told me to submit a return request which I did right away. Trinity Garner at Vivid Racing sent me a RMA return authorization on 11/11/22 so I could follow their return policy. Ain't no problem, I just followed their instructions for shipping and got it sent back to Braum Racing on 11/12/22. But it cost me $799 and change to ship it back, and that's out of my own pocket! These seats weren't cheap in the first place, and I had to pay again just to return them? What kind of business is that?

I waited patiently for my refund. I called them so many times, y'all don't even know how many times. I finally got a refund of $1290.24 on 12/8/22, but that's not even the purchase price I paid for them seats ($1572.97). I called them up again, "why didn't I get the full refund?" They said Braum Racing charged me a restocking fee, and Sarah from the returns department would call me back about it. But did she call me back? Heck no! I'm so over this company, it's just unbelievable. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with!

It cost me over a thousand dollars just to return something that wasn't even advertised right? Ain't no one got that kind of money to throw around, and companies like Vivid Racing don't deserve to be in business. They be using shady business practices and have no customer service etiquette, it's just not right. I'm going to make sure everyone knows about this, I'm flooding social media with their business tactics. And to Braum Racing, y'all better watch out cause I'm coming after you next! I have all the documentation I need to make my claim, I'm ready to fight for my rights!

Vivid Racing Disappointing Experience with Vivid Racing: Poor Customer Service and Delivery Delays

So, let me start by saying that my experience with Vivid Racing has been nothing but disappointing. I placed an order for wheels on December 8th, 2020, and was told that they would take between 10-12 weeks to arrive from Japan. However, I was later informed that they had left Japan on a ship on December 17th. Now, I understand that things can get delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, but what bothers me is that I only found out about these updates when I reached out to their support team.

It's been almost 5 months now, and I still have not received my wheels. The latest update I have received is that they are still in the port of LA and that they don't know when the manufacturer will be able to send them out. This seems highly unlikely as container ships usually take around 20 days to cross the Pacific.

Every time I call their support team, I am met with the same response - they will keep an eye on the order and make sure the sales rep reaches out to me. However, I have yet to receive any real answers or updates. In fact, I have been waiting for over a month now to hear back from my sales rep.

If finding out about the status of my order is difficult, trying to get a refund has proven to be even more challenging. Vivid Racing seems to have zero ability to track anything, and their support team is completely useless. I have been on hold for 30 minutes at times, only to be told that they don't know anything about the order, but they will keep me updated.

It's frustrating to have given them an interest-free loan of nearly $2200, with no update on when I will receive my money back. And, I am not alone in my disappointment. It's amazing how they have stayed in business this long with so many unhappy customers.

In conclusion, if you're considering Vivid Racing for your car part needs, I would highly recommend against it. Their lack of transparency, poor customer service, and inability to provide real updates makes it a complete waste of time and money.

Vivid Racing Disappointing Experience with Vivid Racing: Unresponsive and Unhelpful Customer Service

I recently had a disappointing experience with Vivid Racing. I placed an order for a strut bar that was marked as "in stock" on their website, but after a week, I still had not received an order number or any information about shipping. I reached out to customer service via email and they told me that the order had been updated. Though I did receive an order number, I still had no information about when the item would be shipped.

I reached out again after another week had passed, this time asking for a refund if the item was not actually in stock. I was told that they would look into it and get back to me right away. Unfortunately, another week went by with no response. When I reached out again, I was told that they had contacted the vendor and that my item should have shipped the day before. This made me suspicious - if the item was in stock, why had they needed to contact the vendor?

To make matters worse, they ignored my requests for a refund if the item was not actually in stock. I had to reach out multiple times, and they continued to give me the runaround. They eventually started spamming me with messages saying that the item should have shipped, but with different signatures each time. It was clear that they were not actually trying to help me and were just trying to stall.

I eventually had to file a claim with PayPal and decided that I had been scammed. A few days later, I received an email saying that the item would be in production and would ship out in 6-8 weeks. This was obviously not what I had been told when I ordered.

I tried to call Vivid Racing to speak with someone, but their automated system kept sending me in circles. They told me that I was caller number 3, then 2, then 7, and then they hung up on me. It was clear that they were not interested in actually helping me.

Finally, after threatening a PayPal claim, I received a response saying that they would issue a refund - but only if I closed my dispute. This was clearly an attempt to get me to drop my claim and allow them to keep my money. I refused, and eventually, I was able to get a refund after their manager approved it.

Overall, I would not recommend Vivid Racing. They were unresponsive, unhelpful, and seemed more interested in scamming me out of my money than actually delivering the product that I ordered.

Vivid Racing Vivid Racing Review: Sketchy Customer Service & Fake Reviews. Go to Extreme Wheels for Top-Notch Service

Yo so I ordered some fire wheels at the beginning of April using Katapult (Affirm) finance from Vivid Racing and they hit me back saying they don't even have them in stock. Like come on bruh how you gonna have products listed for sale if you don't have em? Took them FOREVER to cancel my order and I had to hit them up multiple times through messages, emails, and voicemails like a straight up detective to try and re-order with them. And even then they only gave me half-[censored] responses like they had one wheel but not the others. Like what's the point in that? That's not even helpful man.

Eventually, I realized something smelled funky and checked out Extreme Wheels. And let me tell you, those guys were mad helpful and had some excellent customer service. Stayed on the phone with me and helped me order the wheels I really wanted like they were my boys from middle school. And you know what, turns out the guy helping me USED TO WORK FOR VIVID RACING. Said they had a good rep back in the day when they were nobody but once they had some fame they became a circus act filled with a bunch of kids who don't know what they're doing.

So I tried canceling my order for the second time two days later from Vivid and NO RESPONSE. Finally got an email saying they would cancel it, but the wheels still came? Like what kind of backwards operation is this? So I told them I didn't want that garbage and then called up Katapult finance to check what's up. Turns out they sent a confirmation to Vivid but nothing came back. And it's been WEEKS. I've messaged/email/called these guys dozens of times and all they do is give me the runaround and say something like "we're sorry, we're looking into this." Looking into whaaaa? I've been trying to hit you up every day and all you gotta do is confirm the cancellation to Katapult.

And don't even get me started on these fake reviews. If you look into it, you'll know Vivid has a ton of real bad reviews from their customers and 99.9% of the time it's because their customer service is THE WORST. Meanwhile, Extreme Wheels took care of me DAY 1 and even offered to machine the wheels to my bolt pattern AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. That's what I call customer service, ya dig?

If you're looking for a headache and some bad wheels go ahead and order from Vivid Racing. But if you actually want to get what you ordered and wanna avoid some fake reviews and sketchy customer service, hit up my homies over at Extreme Wheels. Trust me, they'll take care of you like family.

Vivid Racing Unhappy with Vivid Racing: Poor Communication and Customer Service for Motorcycle Parts

So, I decided to give Vivid Racing a shot and ordered two fuel tanks for my motorcycle. I paid for them immediately and received an instant email notification that my order and payment had been received. All good so far, right? Wrong. Later that day, I received an email saying they don't have the tanks I ordered and that they will notify me as soon as they drop ship from a supplier. Hmm, strange. I checked their website before ordering and there was no indication that they didn't have the tanks in stock. Nevertheless, I decided to wait patiently for the tanks to arrive. However, after two days of waiting, I decided to email them at 5am asking for an update. I even specified that if the tanks were backordered, I wanted to cancel my order. Unfortunately, I received no response.

The next day, I decided to call them mid-morning and was put on hold. And I waited. And waited. And waited. After 30 minutes, I hung up and tried the live chat instead. The response was slow, but at least I was getting some responses. I requested that my order be cancelled, and after being transferred multiple times and waiting for what seemed like forever, I was informed by John that my order was shipping that day. I explained that it was too late and that I wanted to cancel my order instead. However, he informed me that it had already been shipped and that I couldn't cancel it. I reluctantly agreed and asked for information on how to return the tanks once they arrived. Ursy informed me that I could return them at my own cost, but that I couldn't initiate the return until the items had been delivered.

At this point, I was really annoyed. It had been over an hour of waiting and being transferred around, and I still hadn't received any communication via email saying that my order had shipped or a tracking number. However, Ursy seemed to know that my order had shipped the day before and even provided me with a tracking number. I was also unhappy to learn that there was a 25% restocking fee for certain items.

Based on my experience and reading so many other negative reviews about this company, I have a suspicion that they ignored my email because it would require a phone call to provide an answer. It seems that they wanted to keep my money rather than do what's best for the customer. When I finally did get someone on the phone, they transferred me multiple times and made me wait for long periods of time before finally telling me that my order had already been shipped. However, I have a feeling that it still hasn't shipped, and they made up an excuse to get rid of me. I did receive an email saying that my item was on its way, but it felt like it was sent the second I got off the chat.

Overall, I will never, ever order from this company again. If you're in need of motorcycle parts, I highly recommend going to Revzilla or Rocky Mountain ATV instead. Even if an item is on backorder, those companies know how to treat their customers and keep them coming back. Vivid Racing, on the other hand, seems to only care about snatching your money and ignoring your phone calls.

Vivid Racing Review of Vivid Racing's Customer Service and Order Processing

I ordered a tent from Vivid Racing website on September 2nd and I was happy to receive a shipping update email on September 3rd that the order was being processed. The email also stated that I would receive a tracking number when it was available. Later that day, on September 3rd, a customer service representative sent me an email to check if the shipping ETA was alright with me before processing the order. However, I hadn't noticed that the email was sent to my less frequently used email address.

On September 4th, I called Vivid Racing to find out when exactly the tent would be shipped. They gave me the expected delivery date and I told them I would think about it. However, 5 minutes later, I realized that I needed to cancel the order because I wouldn't be able to get the tent in time for my trip. So, I logged onto their online chat system to cancel the order. An automated system informed me that the cancellation request had been sent to the cancellation department.

On September 10th, Vivid Racing reached out to me via email and apologized for the inconvenience, stating that the product would conflict with my camping date. They asked me if I wanted to cancel it and they would refund me or try to find something else I would like. Unfortunately, the email was sent to my less frequently used email account again. When I realized that I had missed the email on September 19th and replied to it to cancel the order, again.

However, on Monday, September 21st, I was surprised to find the tent dropped off at my doorstep, even though it was supposed to be on hold. I had specifically told them to cancel it, but it wasn't cancelled. And they never even sent a shipment update email, which was frustrating. I instantly called them to return the tent, but the customer service representative told me that I was the first caller and I was next in line to be helped. After being on hold for a while and being told three times that I was first in line, I was sent to voicemail. I left a voicemail and awaited their response. I was hoping for a call back on September 22nd but didn't receive one. So, I called again but was told the same - that I was the first caller and I was sent to voicemail again. I left another voicemail and am hoping for a resolution to this issue soon.

This has been a month-long process for my cancellation request and I am now stuck with a purchase charge that should have been handled weeks ago. I have already filed a dispute with Discover and am looking to return the tent that shouldn't have been delivered.

Vivid Racing Poor Customer Service and Policies: My Experience with Vivid Racing

I recently ordered some hub centric rings from Vivid Racing on May 6, 2021 at 5:53PM EST. However, I quickly changed my mind and called Vivid Racing customer service representative at 6:05 PM EST to cancel the order. The representative advised me that she would cancel the order and I was relieved and happy to hear that. I thought everything was taken care of, but I was wrong.

On May 11, 2021 at 6:39 PM EST, I received an email from Vivid Racing informing me that they were unable to cancel the order as it had already shipped out. This was confusing to me as I had already been reassured by their customer service representative that the order was cancelled. To make matters worse, on May 12, 2021 at 12:46 PM, I received a notification from FedEx that a package had arrived for me. It was labeled from Tanabe in California, which was bizarre since Vivid Racing is located in Arizona. When I opened the package, I discovered it was the hub centric rings that were supposed to be canceled.

Feeling frustrated and confused, I reached out to Vivid Racing again on May 12, 2021 at 3:48 PM to discuss the situation. This time I spoke with Ursy Horsteen from Vivid Racing, who informed me that the cancellation process takes 2-3 business days. I explained that the previous representative had advised me that the cancellation was processed. However, Ursy informed me that their company protocol was not communicated to me and therefore I was misinformed. Even though I didn't want the items, Ursy denied me a refund and told me to email pictures of the box and items to a link she sent to me. She also warned me that there was no guarantee I would get a refund from the manufacturer, even if I followed their protocol. I was left with no other choices.

I did email the photos as Ursy directed me to but received a shocking email response the next day on May 13, 2021 at 12:23 PM. The manufacturer would charge a 20% restocking fee, which meant I would have to pay for shipping out of pocket. The restocking fee alone was $8.60, with the total cost of shipping at $15.74. The items were originally sold for $38.00, and after deducting the restocking fee and shipping costs, the refund stood at $14.66. I found this absurd given that I had called to cancel the order, and Vivid Racing's representative had failed to do their job appropriately.

Overall, this experience was terrible and unacceptable, given that I had called to cancel the order, and Vivid Racing's representative had mishandled the cancellation. Vivid Racing's policies were not communicated to me, and I was left punished with undue penalties. This is a situation that nobody should have to deal with when they are doing their best to fix a problem that was not even their fault in the first place.

Vivid Racing Nightmare Experience with Vivid Racing: Misleading Product Information and Poor Customer Service

I gotta say, this company Vivid Racing is a nightmare. I usually check the reviews, but got too hyped when I was told they had a march for my 2014 Ram Sport pre-runner, so I didn't bother. This review is only my second review that I have written in my life, but it's of grave importance that y'all read this.
I had been searching high and low for pre-runners for my pick-up, and I found that most times when a part states that it won't fit a Sport, it also won't fit a Rebel. I saw on Vivid Racing's webpage a pre-runner that stated that all rams were capable of using, except for the Rebels. Of course, knowing what I learnt over the last few weeks I decided to call them and verify that it would fit my pick-up. I explained what I found out over the last few months and that it tended not to fit Sports. I was told that if it states on the website that only Rebels are excluded, then my ride was fit to be served. I did caution them again that I haven't seen any evidence of that in my research. I was reassured that I was good to go since it only excluded Rebels. The website also confirmed the part using my vehicle information.
It took them two weeks before I ever got confirmation about when my item would arrive. Finally, it did arrive and it took me quite the effort to ensure that all parts were in check. After verifying that, I found the installation manual and saw that it stated that the installation would not work on vehicles with one piece bumper covers, which my 14 Ram Sport does have. I spent the next 72 hours calling and sending emails to anyone at the company with a pulse to get information. After a while, I finally got through on the phone and they said they would contact the manufacturer directly. Why didn't they even do that from the start? The manufacturer confirmed that they made a wrong part. They gave me an email address to Ashley to work on the returns, but it took them four days before they would even email me back. She needed me to verify my vehicle description to check if it could be installed on my car again, which I already did. Two days later, I finally got an email with a ROA and a return address, but they didn't credit me back the shipping charges which cost me around $87. I asked why, and they said that basically I had ordered the wrong thing. But I did call to verify that it was the correct part, and also brought my concerns to their attention. Their website even stated that it fit for my car. I haven't heard anything from them in over 24 hours, but I will return the package tomorrow at the UPS store, which I am fully aware that I'll be charged for shipping costs. At this point, I just want to recover the money I can from this terrible experience and find myself a better company in the future. I cannot stress enough that you should not do business with this company, just for the simple reason why you maybe next. Your order may go as planned, but I wouldn't risk it knowing what I know now. This company is pure crap, and they deserve to lose all their business. To put it simply, they are just a bunch of crooks.

Vivid Racing Buyer Beware: My Terrible Experience with Vivid Racing

This is a review about Vivid Racing, and I must say that I am extremely disappointed with their service. My experience ordering from this company has been terrible, and I would like to caution anyone considering ordering from them to think twice.

I placed an order for a set of titanium lug studs with ball seat tuner lugnuts, specifically for my 2019 Audi TT RS, as per their website. However, when the product was shipped to me, I received a set of titanium lug studs and standard ball seat lugnuts instead. I was disappointed but didn't complain, assuming I had made a mistake somewhere during the ordering process.

However, when I tried to install the lug studs, I found that the thread pitch was incorrect, making it extremely difficult to thread them into my hubs. While I was able to manage most of them with some effort, one lug stud was not cut correctly and would not thread into my hub at all. I ended up breaking three different Allen head sockets in the process of trying to work it in, which led to me having to take off all three other wheels to pull all 20 of the studs back out.

When I filed a return request, I explained that I had tried to install the product and that it didn't work. Unfortunately, it took the company several days and a series of emails over two weeks to respond to my request. When they finally did get back to me, they sent a polite email stating that if there was any damage to the packaging or marks on anything, they would refuse my return.

I was extremely frustrated when I saw their response, especially when they pointed out some light marks on the lugnuts as their "reason" for refusing my return. I knew that it was possible to polish metal, so these marks shouldn't have been a big deal, especially since they were caused by just one attempted installation and removal. Furthermore, I had taken the time to clean and scrub these parts as best I could before returning them, so I didn't understand why they were being so difficult about it.

To make matters worse, I began to question whether the lug studs were really made of titanium at all. Additionally, I found their customer service to be lacking in professionalism, and it seemed like they were doing everything they could to keep my money while providing me with terrible service.

To give a timeline of events, I received the product on March 26, tried to install it on March 27, spent two weeks trying to get the company's attention about their mistake, shipped the return on April 16, and they received it on April 22. Sadly, they sent an email on April 24 stating that they would not accept the return because I had attempted to install the product. This was frustrating, because how else could I have known that the lug studs and lugnuts wouldn't work if I hadn't tried to install them? Moreover, when I did tell them that there was a problem, why did they not address it at that time?

In conclusion, I would not recommend Vivid Racing to anyone. Their customer service is terrible, and they are deceptive and difficult to work with. As a consumer, I feel cheated by this company, and I caution anyone considering using them to be careful and to think twice.

Vivid Racing I recently made a purchase with Vivid racing for an exhaust that was listed at $600 figuring it was on sale for some reason

I recently made a purchase with Vivid racing for an exhaust that was listed at $600 figuring it was on sale for some reason. I was charged immediately. I waited 2 business days to contact vivid about my order to give it time to process. I then contacted vivid and was told they would contact me about my order that they found it in the system and it was processing. The next email I receive from them is that the exhaust was listed incorrectly however they could offer me a 10% discount off the original price making the exhaust $3,852.00. Seems quite bait and switch to me and although it is stated in their terms they do not have to fulfill the order even after accepting funds they can refund I am still looking at pursuing legal action so this doesn't happen to others. According to their terms they are not obliged to honor their pricing online even if they already accepted your money. Customer service line had me on hold for over 55 minutes on two occasions while I was trying to resolve the issue. Vivid needs to get their stuff together. I guess there's a reason they have a C- rating.

On January 24th, *** stock. I expected to have waited at least a few weeks. It has been almost over 2 months now with no real update. Just customer service keep telling me they will update me when the manufacturer lets them know. I did not spend all this money on my hood just to wait months in order for me to even some type of tracking number. I have my order number *** memorized by how many times I have contacted customer service. Very disappointed and doesnt make me want to purchase anything from vivid again.

Similar story as the others, ordered two tires, got charged immediately, never received a tracking number, and all responses to my requests were promptly ignored.

After calling in 2weeks ago and being assured my order would be shipped same day if ordered before 2pm I ordered an awe exhaust for my Camaro at 6am, I then proceeded to check my order status at 3pm and got an on hold for EPA waiver notification... I called in in which they said they need to send an email and that I would have to email it back signed that fine I did. THEY IN NO WAY MENTIONED THIS DURING CHECK OUT OR SENT THE *** BEFORE I CALLED. TERRIBLE AND I MEAN TERRIBLE SERVICE. WHOEVER MADE THE WEBSITE IS INCOMPETENT THIS SHOULD BE AN AUTOMATED *** WHEN YOU BUY SOMETHING NOT SOMETHING THAT SOME LAZY A HAS TO SEND OUT. Did I mention they didn't sent it till I called? They probably would have waited a week before it they even sent the email and I paid almost $200 for priority next day shipping. This company is a complete and utter joke. Why trust a company that cant take 20min and I mean it literally takes 20min to set up an automated email for this EPA Waiver...

I placed an order for two parts with Vivid in early June that were shown as in-stock on their web site. After receiving no update for two months, I attempted to contact them. I spent hours on hold over the course of several attempts. When I managed to contact them, they said the part would ship in three weeks. After three weeks, I called again, again wasting hours on the phone waiting, and they said it would be another month. I asked to cancel the order. They said they would. They didn't. I tried cancelling the order through their chatbot. I received an email saying they couldn't cancel the order because it had already shipped. It hadn't. I've spent over 8 hours sending emails, waiting on the phone, leaving messages, and rarely every receiving any contact in return.I finally received an item in the mail and it wasn't what I ordered. I've sent it back and I am still waiting on a refund. It is now late September. Vivid took my money 3 and half months ago for items that they didn't have, were never able to fulfill my order, and still haven't refunded my money. This is the least functional business entity that I have ever interacted with.

On December 28, I purchased rims for my son and it cost me over $800. This company gave me a $20 coupon, which I used, and the price of the rims totaled $807.66 with taxes and shipping. When I paid for the item, the confirmation page showed I paid $829.21 instead of the $807, taking back the $20 dollars and adding a little more. To put the icing on the cake, they never sent the rims, they just kept the money. For the person who had a 5 star review, they either work for the company or they are related to or a friend of someone who does. This company should be put out of business. It is unconscionable for a company to be allowed to advertise products, take peoples money, and not give us what we paid for. To allow it is disgraceful. Oh, I reached out to them, but I still dont have my money. They later sent me an email asking if I received the shipment, I said no, I still dont have my money. The are committing fraud and they should have charges brought against them. If anyone wants to start a class action, we can all go in to pay the legal fees.

I purchased a product from Vivid for the price shown on the website. I received the confirmation of purchase and thought I was fine, four days later I called because I hadnt received a tracking number of shipping confirmation. I was told that due to a price increase they couldnt sell the product without me paying $80 more. I asked about the price on the website, this was 4 days later, the price still hasnt been updated and I told them I think they should have informed me sooner, since I had already paid, and they hadnt contacted me for anything, not shipping, not for the price increase. *** has been no help, Ive been hung up on and dismissed many times. I think its false advertisement what if I had never called?, would they have called me eventually? I think they should honor the price they SOLD them to me for, regardless of their negligence on updating their website.

Vivid Racing I have had the worst experience with Vivid Racing

I have had the worst experience with Vivid Racing. I ordered an exhaust through them three weeks ago. I called before ordering to check availability, and I was told that it was in stock and ready to ship. So I proceed with my order. Weeks go by and I get no confirmation. I call and was able to connect with someone after nearly half an hour on hold, and she tells me the exhaust is NOT in stock and is being shipped from the manufacturer and should be shipping soon. Another two weeks go by and I still hear nothing. I send an email asking for an update. I'm told they asked for an update. I wait a few more days, and send another email. No response. I call, I go through the menu, and am told what position in line I'm in. I stay on hold for 20 minutes. Once I become next in line, the line rings and rings for another 10-15 minutes, only to be hung up on. I have called 10 times per day for multiple days now with the same exact thing happening every time. I send emails daily and do not get a response. At this point I just want a refund and I can't even talk to anyone who works there. It feels like they are just blowing me off at this point and trying to steal my money.

I just wanted to leave a review for this company not everyone has a great experience when purchasing parts but I did. I've purchased my taillights and headlights from vividracing and couldn't be happier they look great on my Ram *** with my second purchase was Connor he double check everything for my headlights and made sure anything else wasn't required to go with my purchase and sent me to check out. I appreciate the great customer care Connor provided. Keep up the great work and when I get for my next mod for my Ram I know where I'm going Vividracing ...?

Called 6 x over 2 days. They placed my order on hold because they raised the price $100 after I already purchased it. They never answered the phone and each time I waited anywhere between 15 and 30 mins I got hung up on! I finally got through on a online chat and they refused to honor pricing and they didnt even offer to make things right or correct the website pricing. What a scam and to top it off I found the same item on *** freaks .com and guess what? Appears Vivid owns them as well.. neither CEOs where available for comment could not escalate to a complaint call and my order was cancelled and I was promptly dismissed. Horrible horrible experience. Not to mention its 4 days after I ordered it.

This company is garbage. I ordered a cold air intake on 1-20-22 and never received a tracking number or anything, After calling a couple of times I eventually it was getting shipped from the Manufacturer on 2-18-22. I could have fabricated on myself by now. Now I'm out of town for work and *** sent me an email saying its getting delivered tomorrow and needs a signature.

This has to be the worst ran online business I have ever dealt with. my order there was #***. on 06/28 It was for a new custom steering wheel for my ***. I filled out the online form and double-checked it was correct. I paid and sent in the order. My car is automatic with the paddle shifters, and what I got back on 8/27 was a wheel made for a stick shift. I even sent images in with the order so they could get it right. Well, it was wrong. So I emailed Vivid because they never answer their phones. Someone named Brianna sent me an email back saying I can return the wrong wheel, and they will make the correct one. After waiting nearly another month and a half later, I emailed them and was told Brianna wasn't there anymore, and no one seemed to know if they were even making me a new wheel. Dan said he would refund me on 11/02. On 11/10, I got an email from someone named tiffany and an RMA attached image to return my stock wheel for the Core charge. Meanwhile, I already told them I moved over a month previously to Washington, the RMA had my old Arizona address. I also have no idea what the RMA was sent for since I still have nothing. Right now as of 11/10 I don't have a wheel or any of my money.

I placed an order that I never received. I asked them to file a claim with the shipping company so I can receive a refund. Instead of doing that they're wanting me to contact the shipping company myself. If I didn't already do that myself, for them to tell me it's considered lost I wouldn't have contacted to file a claim? They literally tell you to contact the seller to file a claim! My item was shipped from the manufacturer ATW and they're helping me with the claim now. Zero help from vivid at all Also was on hold twice for 20+ mins then the call dropped both times. Never do business with them. They're scammy to say the least. I don't understand how they're even in business. They never respond to you when you want an update but they'll email you when you're trying to get your money back! You have to search their name and see all the horrible reviews from others. So many other companies out there with great customer service to resolve any of your problems.

I have spend a long time looking for new rims for my 2020 C8 Corvette and actually initially had purchased from Carid.com. Well I was lied to about the availability of the original wheels and even was sent an email with pictures of the wheels I ordered saying they had shipped and would arrive in a few days. What arrived was only the lug nuts so I called them and was told that the wheels were actually on a cargo ship off of the coast of *** and they couldn't even give me an estimate as to when they would arrive. Needless to say I was very upset and cancelled the order. and actually have yet to even get my money back. That's where Vivid Racing and *** McRarlin came in. I called them to see what they could do on the same set of wheels that i had ordered from Carid and after he checked directly with the manufacturer he told me that while the lug pattern was correct for my car that the original wheels would not actually fit my car correctly. So after chatting about what i was actually looking to do he recommended a set of Vorsteiner wheels that were designed specifically for my car. He got them shipped the next morning and my car looks freaking amazing! Thank you ***! You went above and beyond and have earned a customer for life. Keep up the great work!

I purchased wheels through ***/*** from VIVID RACING, and come to find out they didnt have them in stock (kinda weird, why does it say in stock and why do you take my money if they arent in stock) so i had to go through the lengthy process of cancelling which took over a week. Then I went to order another set of wheels and I was trying to reach out to them and ask them if they had 3 different sets of wheels in stock and the ones they did i would buy. Well I had barely any help, I got like one or two replies over a day period only to answer one of my questions so i just ordered some anyways. Well Then i went to another company and not only were they cheaper but they were on point with customer service and prompt with getting back to me and being polite so I went to cancel from VIVID racing again and they said they cancelled, I contacted *** and they said they said a confirmation to VIVID but they havent heard back... well its been over a week almost 2 and ive reached out several times through phone, email, and chat message to get them to confirm the cancel with *** so I get a refund and they havent responded. The wheels were even shipped and i rejected them... I figure the only way to get their attention now is to start leaving reviews on every single site possible...

AVOID!AVOID vivid and the *** that go with it are a complete scam. I ordered a strut bar for a *** on march 26. I have sent multiple messages to vivid as well as the *** "***" with basically 0 reply. I was sent a message saying this part was being drop shipped and they would update me. It never said on the site that the part was not in stock and they took my money as soon as I ordered it. It's been a month I've recieved no further update from ether vivid or ***. The *** is good for 30 days I waited 26 or 27 days before filing a claim 4 days ago. I've sent 3 messages via *** "***" anddddd no reply. This morning I got on vivid's *** page... like 80,000 followers yet almost every single comment gets deleted. I commented i would spread the word of this scumy company and was blocked off the page in no more than 5 minutes buttttt I have gotten 0 update on my order. Many people have the exact experience with this company. Looks like I'm not the only one putting in a Complaintsboard.com review/complaint this month. I will share my experience to as many car groups as possible to hopefully keep people from going through this. I've shopped online for probably 12 years and they have the worst coustmer service I've ever experienced

Tl;dr Took my money and never delivered, had to file *** claim for refund. I ordered a strut bar that was, and is still labeled IN STOCK on their website. Thankfully I paid with ***. Little did I know then I'd have to file a claim. One week passes and I received NO order number NO shipping. I reached out to customer service via email and they told me the order was updated. I now got an order number but still no shipping. Another week passes so I reach out again asking for a refund if the item is not in stock since they are wasting my time. They tell me they will look into it and reply right away! ANOTHER week passes of no response so I reach out AGAIN and they tell me they contacted the vendor and my item should have shipped the day before. This tells me they never looked into it the first time and that they never had the item in stock if they had to contact the vendor. On top of this they ignored two requests for a refund if the item was NOT in stock. Can you guess what happened next? Another week passes of no reply and I contacted them yet again. They ignored me from there on out and started spamming me with the same message saying it should have shipped out with different made up signatures every day for almost a week before I had to block them. I filed a claim to *** and came to conclusion I got scammed. A few days later I received an email telling me the item will be in PRODUCTION and ship out in 6 - 8 weeks. What a joke this company is full of lies and ***. I tried to call them to get a hold of someone only to find out their automated system runs you in circles. Tells me I'm caller number 3, then 2, then 7. I waited back down from 7 and it told me I was next then all of a sudden they are too busy and it automatically hangs up. I replied right away to the email telling them to submit my refund, I'm done with you guys, and have fun with the *** claim. Only after threatening the *** claim is the first time they replied within a week. I'm then told that they would be happy to issue my refund!... As long as I close my *** dispute. What an obvious scam. Closing a dispute is permanent and you can't take action after it's closed they clearly wanted to run off with my money once freed from liability. I called them out on it and they said I would have to close it for a refund. I said no. Then magically the manager was able to approve my refund and the claim closed automatically as it's supposed to.

I made a $630 order with Vivid for an NRG seat, slider, and bracket on July 3rd. I understand this a small order compared to many of the other victims on this page. None of these items indicated that there was a high lead time, or that there would be any issues receiving these items within a reasonable amount of time. On June 8th I received a message indicating that my items were scheduled to ship directly from the vendor/manufacturer (no specific date listed). After a few days with no indication that anything was shipping, I reached out on the 11th. I was told that they are incapable of getting an answer from NRG on the status of my order. I followed up again on the 14th and essentially received the same answer. No indication that they had any clue of when, or if, I would receive the items I ordered. On the 22nd I requested a refund, after Vivid clearly showed they had no idea how to get a hold of NRG, or didn't want to. I heard nothing until the 24th once I called their hotline--which is beyond frustrating. It was 20 minutes of pre-recorded messages of the owner of Vivid pretty much saying how terrible he knows it is to be on hold. I would've rather have listened to generic hold-line music. While they "processed" my refund request after this call, it was absolutely meaningless. They said it took 3 days to process the refund on their end, and another 3 days depending on your bank. I gave them 10 full business days to process this before I even contacted them. I thought this was extremely reasonable even with the holiday season. It was JULY 9th when I decided to contact them and tell them I didn't receive my refund yet. I received a generic message stating that "cancellation is not guaranteed until confirmed by the warehouse and/or manufacturer". Keep in mind that this is apparently the same warehouse/manufacturer that couldn't even confirm what month they would ship what I ordered. There was no indication that any product had moved, was being made, or on schedule to be produced. There is nothing to process besides the money I gave them for essentially nothing. After this message, I told them that they had until today (7/13) to resolve this or I would make a complaint to the Complaintsboard.com. They still haven't responded at all. There has not been any updates on my order whatsoever. Do not order from this scam company. I'd also like to add that none of the people I have spoken with actually seemed to feel or even pretended to feel any sort of sympathy for my situation, they seem to be used to people complaining about this kind of thing. Weird. I understand that NRG is a difficult company to work with, but at least they don't pretend that they will sell something they clearly do not have. However, I ordered a couple of NRG items through Grip Royal and they arrived at my house within THREE days of my order, because they actually carry what they claim to sell. Vivid does not care about you and are happy to take your money without any concern about your order. This entire ordeal would not have happened if they just stated that they didn't have these items in stock and didn't know when they would receive them. I will never order from this company again and I completely regret ever giving them a chance. They do not deserve it and if I could give zero stars I would. Even if they resolve this, either with shipping the items I ordered or actually giving me the refund I requested almost three weeks ago, they will never have my support.

Like what so many others have said, this company needs to be avoided at all costs. Absolutely TERRIBLE service. They will be very responsive up until they have taken your money, after that expect to NEVER hear back from them. They will tell you everything you want to hear to get the sale but will completely deny everything they said after you've paid. I waited 8 weeks for a custom steering wheel and was told multiple times that I would be given an update when I made the order as to if they can make it to my specs and send me a photo of what it looks like. NEVER got any updates, Never got a response by email from the person who sold to me to the point that I thought he either got fired or quit. He never answers his phone because he has caller id. I had to call and have someone forward me to him in order to ever speak with him. SUPER SHADY COMPANY. He even told me on the phone when I was ordering that if they messed up my order that I can get a refund at no cost even though they have some *** on their website stating they charge a restocking fee but reassured me that if they messed up my order that I wouldn't be charged that fee. GUESS WHAT, THEY MESSED UP MY ORDER and sent me not what I order as was depicted in the invoice. AGAIN, had to call. Tried his direct # and YUP, you guess it, he didn't answer. I call a different way and get forwarded to him, you guess it, he answers this way. I explain to him calmly that my custom order just arrived today and it's not what was depicted in the invoice. He confirms my invoice stated it clearly and that I received an incorrect item. Since they're the middle man he states, he has to forward this to the manufacturer and that it's up to them to either fix it or offer me a refund. I had asked how long it would take to get the correct item I ordered and he said he doesn't know. I informed him I don't want to wait another 8 weeks for their mess up. He again stated he can't do anything about it or assure anything or do anything at all to make the situation better for the customer. I said if it's going to take awhile I'd rather just have a refund since I don't want to go through this again. He said he can't give me a refund. Denies ever telling me that I could have a refund if they messed up as stated prior to my purchase. Keeps trying to rush and brush through phone call since the get go. I am calm but slightly irritated sounding through this whole call. I don't want to be a flippant person but express that this is their mistake and they keep treating me like ***. I told him to stop brushing me off and trying to end the phone call because he was clearly not caring at all about the situation. They still refuse to give me a refund for their mess up. They refuse to try and expedite the manner after already making me wait 8 weeks and four days! What's even crazier is that the item gets to sent to them first before they ship it to you, They couldn't even verify the item matches the invoice? Also, this wouldn't have happened if they did what they said they would and what I asked for a photo of it once it was done. LOL? This is really on them. They could have done so much better if they just followed through like an actual professional. Clearly they're not. It is absolutely frustrating that places like this try and use the pandemic as a reason to why they're a terrible company with poor ethics and terrible customer service. TL;DR? This company is absolutely disappointing and disrespectful. Save your money, do your research on the company prior to shopping with them, especially during these times because I sure wish I did. If I saw all these Complaintsboard.com reviews I would have definitely gone with a different vendor I had lined up. Learn from my regrets and experience with this place. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. ESPECIALLY FOR CUSTOM WORK/CUSTOM STEERING WHEELS! I have all the emails to prove not ever receiving a response since the first week of OCTOBER! It's now DECEMBER.

Due to the pandemic, I decided to give them some slack and wait for my muffler.3/8 - Decided it was time to email and asked for status, was told "We are still awaiting an update on your order. We'll shoot you an email as soon as your order ships."4/6 - Emailed and asked for status, no reply 5/24 - Emailed and asked for status, was told "We sincerely apologize for the delays and inconvenience. The manufacturer got back to me saying your order is still on back order and is expected to be available 2022-06-01. As soon as there are any other updates or tracking we will send them over."6/2 - Emailed and asked for status, was told "Thank you for reaching back. The manufacturer has yet to provide the tracking number order ***. We have sent them a follow up and as soon as we hear from them or a tracking is provided, we will inform you right away."7/18 - Emailed and asked for status, also noticed the SAME muffler was being sold for $100 more and listed in stock, so I asked about that. Was told "We are still awaiting an update on your order. We'll shoot you an email as soon as your order ships." Note: ZERO mention about the muffler being in stock and selling for $100 more. 8/20 - Emailed and requested they cancel my order 8/21 - My order shipped. Stay away from this business, they're falsely advertising they have items in stock, they charged me in 2021, and didn't send my item until 8/22. All they wanted to do was hold on to my money until I threatened to cancel the order. There are a lot of other businesses that sell motorcycle parts and don't lie about their stock or hold your money hostage for 8 months.

I ordered a set of wheels (rays) with a specific offset, on July 27th. In the pro final email discussion, we agreed on a 50% deposit on the wheels as they needed to be ordered for the specific specs required. I was given a date of 5 months, so December 27th? After I had not heard a peep and the vehicle these wheels were going on was totaled in a snow storm, I emailed asking for a refund. To which I was told that as in the invoice a refund is not available, the order can be cancelled with a forfeit of the 50% down payment. However the original invoice does not state that a refund is not available, whether or not the website states as such(looked afterwards, because I did not agree to those terms), the wheels were ordered via email and that was not discussed beforehand. After the vehicle was totaled, I inquired about a refund, to which I was told is t possible, which is fine, but it beyond the date I was told, so I asked about an expected date? To which I was told it was going to be an extra 2-3 months. To be honest if these wheels in this offset were as rare as vivid racing wants to pretend they are, I wouldnt care, but I could purchase them from any competitor of theirs without them having to be manufactured. So my issue is as stands, the wheels were promised in a time frame, they didnt get here in the time frame, I wasnt told they wouldnt be here in that time frame until the car was totaled. I wouldnt mind still reviving the wheels so I could sell them in a private sale for wheels for the new car, but now Im in limbo waiting on those, and I originally purchased them in July. Its upsetting that 2 weeks after the wheels should have been here I had to inform them of the issue with the car and then be told I cant get a refund and also its going to be 2-3 mint beyond that, and then proceeded to discuss the issue with someone who isnt me

Vivid Racing February 14 2022 the order was originally placed

February 14 2022 the order was originally placed. I had ordered two rear CV axles for the total price of $779.90 I also had ordered one front CV axle for the total price of *** The price for each of these axles are $*** and that price was on their website and showed in stock as well as the actual manufacturer's website as well and they showed that they were in stock.Not receiving any information from vivid other than a generic order placed email several days later on February 22nd asking for an update.February 22nd they responded to me saying they were getting in touch with the manufacturer and they would be back with me.Then, on February 23rd *** sent me an email saying my order was on hold and waiting for a response. In the email to me they told me that the manufacturer raised the price on the parts to $460 a piece I would like to know how I would take care of that. I then called spoke with *** he promptly answered the phone and was glad to charge me the additional balance to get the parts shipped ASAP. Me needing the parts and not researching this trusting this business I did let them charge me. After the order was complete I checked their website and they did not adjust that price and I also went to the manufacturer of the parts website and they show in stock in the price was the same as well meaning the original price. I then called RCV which is the manufacturer of the part, spoke with sales and they insured me that pricing did not and will not change in the near future and that there is no issue fulfilling any orders directly to any customer and that does not sound right. They were upset at the fact that this company was selling above MSRP and that *** act negatively towards their dealer programs. I then called vivid back multiple times to talk with people waiting on hold for a lot of time over the course of 2 days talking with different people and nobody was able to help me and nobody seemed to care.

The kit includes 9 pieces of Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) which are manufactured upon purchase and shipped from ***. The purchase price for the body kit is $9,995. Given the hefty price tag for the *** body kit, I agreed with the sales agent, ***, $4,995 upfront and the remaining $5,000 upon final shipment. The transaction was made to Vivid Distributing LLC, through Pay Pal. When I initially placed the order, I was told it would take approximately 6-8 weeks to receive my car parts. I have made several attempts to inquire the whereabouts or status of the aforementioned items. Recently the manufacturing company, *** of ***, stated the items were shipped mid-January. Meanwhile, Vivid Racing sales *** claims the kit was air freighted and should arrive by the end of January. It is now February 3 (25 weeks) and I have not received any information regarding my merchandise. On February 19, I emailed *** of *** regarding my order and ETA of shipment. On February 26, *** of *** replied and notified me of my parts arriving at the *** of North America location by March 2. Today is March 10th and I have not received any information about delivery. I suspect I may have become a victim of fraud/scam. My money is being held hostage. I cannot cancel my order yet I've been waiting 7 months to receive my items! I have looked into Vivid Racings history only to discover they have a notorious track record for taking customers money and not delivering the services or goods that were paid for. I have been patient long enough. I am writing this notification to file a dispute against Vivid Racing. I have all receipts, emails, and bank statements regarding the deposit.

Vivid Racing I paid $2,000 for wheels in May and was told that they would ship late September

I paid $2,000 for wheels in May and was told that they would ship late September. I agreed to wait. Then they moved the date to November 22nd. That date has now came and went without notice they were not coming. We have tried calling multiple times and been hung up on or had to leave voicemails and no one calls you back. I emailed them 4 times and just get no response. Ignored. We tried the chat but will only get generic responses without answering our questions. We just want the wheels we paid for 7 months ago. At one point the chat said probably by April 2022?. Sometime between now and April they said like they were just guessing. Thats a year after paying for them. It just seems like they are making stuff up at this point and no one is really looking into the issue. Like they just read a script to make you go away or wait longer. We just want to know when we are going to receive the product we paid for 7 months ago. We want to know that someone actually knows where they are and when they will get to me. That Vivid actually has a plan they are working to deliver the product I ordered. A REAL date. PLEASE track it and provide updates without us calling 10 times and waiting on hold with no success. It seems very unprofessional. Vivid seems like they are overwhelmed and losing track of orders. I understand long lead times, but waiting a year? I was told at the 6 month *** they were done being made and on the way but then someone else says its going to take 5 more months, a month later. What is going on? Is it to much to ask for someone to really find where the product currently is and get it to us. $2000 is a lot of money, I waited 7 months already and we are weeks now passed the date we were supposed to receive them. I dont want to cancel, I just want the wheels and want vivid to follow through with their end of the deal and commitments and please fix your customer service communication issues. Placed an order for a $200 part in very beginning of May to be delivered to my home in Arizona from manufacturer in California. Waited weeks with no shipping updates or information. Attempted to call the business to check status and was on hold. Was told by automated recording that I was 5th in line, waited util it stated I was 1st in line, then it continued to say I was 7th! Continued on hold for extensive amount of time and then was hung up on. I never was able to get in contact. I then received an email that my part was not available in ordered color and to choose between black or red, I emailed back opting for black in hopes that I would now soon be receiving shipping info. WEEKS later again I cannot get into contact with anyone, there still has been no updates that my package has shipped or ANYTHING. I manage to get a voicemail box for someone at the company and had left 2 messages over the span over a week with NO REPLY. Then one day I just happened to get home only 2 minutes before a *** driver dropped my package at my front door. The package was not discreet. It was black with a picture of a sports car on it and clearly in large letters said "higher performance parts." I had no way of knowing the package was going to be here, so had I not been home I can guarantee it would have been stolen. And since I never received any update that my package was delivered, I never would have realized it was stolen had I not been there. After opening the box and getting ready to install the part in my car I see that they sent me the WRONG PART and upon trying to contact them about it I still CANNOT get into contact with them! I went to leave a bad review on *** and I saw that several other people had this SAME ISSUE. I can only imagine how often this happens and there is no review left. One review stated there has been no delivery or refund for 8MONTHS. This person was basically stolen from. This is a terrible company stealing peoples money.

Vivid Racing I ordered 4 sand tires from vivid racing/motorsports on or about 8/11

I ordered 4 sand tires from vivid racing/motorsports on or about 8/11. I was told 2 tires would be delivered with in a week and the other 2 would be ordered the following friday from their warehouse. I received the front tires on time and waited on the rear tires. When they didn't arrive as promised I called vivid racing and was told they were delivered with my front tires I reminded them that i was told the tires would be shipped as two different orders because the rear tires are coming from a different warehouse. I was then told he would have to consult with his manager and He would call me back later in the day. I received no call. I called the next day only to be directed to their automated answering service. after numerous calls I finally reached a customer service, I was promised my tires would ship within 2 days. Never received my tires. I phoned and left many messages and even sent messages via their "live chat" to call me about my order.. From 8/11 through 8/27 I had reached out to vivid racing 18 times and left numerous messages to call me and to cancel my order. I got NO response from them On 8/27 I had left a message for them to call me and then had my wife call on her phone "inquiring" about purchasing tires. They ignored my message but called my wife back. I then got on the phone and told them to cancel my order for the rear tires. I was then told me I would have to pay return shipping back to their warehouse. After reminding them this mess was their fault I was told I would receive a full refund. I received no refund. On 9/10 I called and left another message to call me about my refund. Once again my message fell on deaf ears. I have been given the brush off and ignored many many times. They have done nothing about my refund. I must add that I have received no invoice nor conformation info on my order .they have done nothing for me but steal my money. I am owed $325.98 for the rear tires Plus the shipping charges..

Vivid Racing I initially purchased a clutch on 10/7, & received it on 10/12

I initially purchased a clutch on 10/7, & received it on 10/12. got my car into the shop 10/30 just to realize that Vivid Racing sent me the wrong clutch. I thought this was just a mix up and theyd send me the right one, just to have an endless email thread back and forth over the course of 3 months, not hearing from them for weeks on end, calling just to get hung up on or wait for hours on hold for the call to either drop or for them to have no update on my return status. They ended up telling me i wouldnt get a clutch in exchange until i had sent my original one in, had it inspected and then they would send me another. i needed my vehicle back on the road, so i decided to order yet ANOTHER clutch from them out of pocket and over a week went by and they hadnt shipped my second clutch yet so i started worrying that this one wouldnt fit either so i called the manufacturer clutch masters directly to confirm the fitment and they informed me that BOTH of the clutches i had purchased from vivid racing were for a 325i and i have a 328i (mind you their website specifically says it fits my car and was a dampened disk. So not only was it for the wrong car, they also were advertising it as a dampened disk and they sent me a rigid disk. I cancel my order for the second clutch, before they shipped it and got a refund. For original clutch i purchased, i didnt receive a shipping label to return the item until 11/19, i shipped it out to them and didnt hear anything back until 12/8 confirming that they had received it. I was pleased to see that but i still didnt have my refund. 12/13 got an email saying they needed to confirm that it was received and inspected. 12/22 still hasnt heard anything so i called the manufacturer MYSELF to confirm they received it. 12/29 vivid racing finally approved return & said i would get an email saying the refund was issued and it will take 5-7 days to hit. 1/8/22 still havent gotten a refund confirmation or refund.

Fast forward to July I reached out to Vivid and was told they spoke with the manufacturer and it will be middle of August. I reached out again once middle of August came around and was told another week. I took it upon myself to reach out to the manufacturer and was told they never received my order and they havent spoken with Vivid about my order. After back and forth with Vivid and Brixton I was told the rims I ordered would have a delay until late November.Another option was provided same rims different color and it can ship within in a week and I was ok with that. A tracking number was provided through email by Vivid.Two weeks go by and I havent received the rims so I which out to Vivid and they give me the same run around. I reached out to Brixton and was told that the rims was out of stock and discontinued and the original rims I ordered will be late November middle of December. I call Vivid and ask for a cancellation of my order and a full refund on September 27 and I was told my order has been shipped to my surprise and I can not cancel the order.I email Vivid the phone records of me speaking with Brixton on September 29 and I also told them I want to cancel the order and receive a refund again. On October 11 I called Vivid and explained the situation again I was told to expect a cancellation email in *** hours and a refund in 5-7 days.As expected nothing so I reached out to Vivid again on November 2 and was told the exact same thing I was told on October 11 but this time I was emailed a cancellation notice. The date is now November 14 and going on 10 business days. This is by far the worst online experience I have encountered. *** is the sales associate Ive been emailing with and he has been nonexistent other than sending me junk emails about product they sale after I have sent emails about my refund.

Dear Sir or Maddam,I am writing this letter regarding a purchase I made from Vivid Racing. My order number, or account number, with *** is *** paid $6,696.00 for the product. Payment was made on the date of purchase 9/23, on my CapitalOne credit card.?I contacted ***(from Vivid Racing) on 10/06, as well as ***(from Vivid Racing) on multiple occasions (some dates include 10/25/201, 11/29) explaining my reason to return the product and request a full refund. My request to return items was made within the companys time frame outlined in their terms and conditions. The product was not a special order, the request was made two weeks after the date of purchase, and item had not yet been shipped. In addition, I had attempted to reach the sales team on several seperate occasions, on said occasions, all my calls were all left unanswered. Please note as evident by details of a chat transcript which took place on 10/6, I was informed the item I purchased was able to be returned and a refund would be made given it met the companys terms and conditions were met. I was told the refund would be recieved within 7 days. Despite instructions from Vivid Racing during our electronic chat my request was later denied. The item was shipped out(please note in an untimely manner, on 12/31). I would appreciate your assistance in resolving my complaint. I would like Vivid Racing to provide me with a full refund of the purchase price $6,696.00. If the product must be returned please direct Vivid Racing to make arrangements for shipping and pay for the expenses of the return.Enclosed are copies of my records, including the purchase reciept, previous correspondences, copies of email threads between myself and Vivid racing, the companys terms and conditions regarding returns, as well as the chat transcript requesting refund and return of the product.I look forward to hearing from you soon.-

Vivid Racing Improper parts

I purchased a Agency Power Exhaust System from Vivid Racing for my 2009 Porsche Boxster S 987 Generation II with Direct Fuel Injection. A representative from Vivid Racing stated it fits this specific make and model.

Turns out it does not, fitment is different for Gen I and Gen II cars. I contacted Agency Power and received confirmation about this from a rep named Matt Jobin, "We have not installed one of these on a 987.2. This is designed to fit the first Gen 987"

I contacted Dan Mermelstein from Vivid Racing who was very unhelpful and shrugged the issue off, stating I received a discount on the exhaust (apparently discounts mean no customer service) . This is their problem as their sales rep stated it fits Gen II cars when in fact it does not. The exhaust was miss advertised and therefore certainly Vivid Racings problem.

Further research shows that Vivid Racing and Agency Power are the same company. Under no circumstance should this exhaust have been sold to a 987 Gen II owner when Agency Power had never even tested the product on the vehicle. I am very displeased with the customer service and how the issue has been handled by both companies.
