Visionworks of America review: Service

Please be advised that I had a scheduled appointment for repair of my glasses and to look for new frames. Upon arriving I contacted the store that I was there, as I received this as a message via text that this store was unaware of. I was temperature checked and was given a salesperson to help me. She had fixed my glasses and when I requested to look at frames, she stated that she would have to ask the front desk receptionist if someone can help me. The front desk receptionist told me that the salesperson that I was given can help me. She then gave me a tray and told me that whatever frames I pick off the wall, do not put back as they have to be first sanitized.

After looking for a few minutes, I asked her if she could assist me with looking for frames. She told me that she would have to ask the front desk receptionist if there was anyone that can help me. It seemed that she couldn't be bothered. There was only one other customer in the store with his son at the time and he was being helped.

The receptionist Rachel, working the front desk on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 3:45 p.m. proceeded to ask me "if I needed someone to stand there while I was picking out frames". This was a very sarcastic statement and was unnecessary as I was asking for customer service. I told her that I usually come with someone, but due to COVID that was not possible and wanted someone to help me in picking out frames. After several rude comments from Rachel I became upset that I was not receiving customer service.

The manager I was told was Sandy that didn't assist in anyway when I became upset. Vision works should be ashamed of the staff that is working at this location. These employees should be reprimanded for their tone and rude comments that are made to customers requiring customer assistance and service.

I am writing this as I hope this situation will be addressed and no other customer has to experience this type of service. I will never return to this store or refer anyone to this location.
