I got an exam and picked out glasses. When ready I picked them up and they didn't seem right. I told them and they suggested I give them a try for a week and if still aren't right to bring them back. I stopped in with husband who was picking his glasses up. They told me they couldn't help me that day because I would require another exam. So, my fourth visit was today. Had the exam and apparently it was the glasses and not the script. Script was fine. So they asked me to wait until I could see someone to remeasure my glasses. An hour later I'm still sitting there waiting to been seen. When the assistant manager at this store called me over she asked me how I was doing. I told her not well because I've been waiting over an hour and this is my forth trip here for one pair of glasses. Her response: Well, it's busy. Everybody waits. That's just how it is."She YELLED it at me. I told her I won't deal with her and she informed me that the wait would be longer. So I said fine, I want my money back for the glasses and exam. I have never, IN MY LIFE, been spoken to in that manner. Especially by an"assistant manager." This is unacceptable. She probably thought she could get away with it because I'm disabled, in a wheelchair. Well, wrong. I will be reporting this incident to everyone agency that deals with customer complaints. Chamber of Commerce? I will also be contacting a legal representative because this matter was totally uncalled for and I will not stand for it. On a positive note, the woman that assisted me with the return of my glasses was wonderful. Very professional. Might consider her for management. Thank you.
Desired outcome: She needs to be reprimanded and/or fired. If I were the manager, she would have been fired on the spot. No question about it.
