Visionworks of America review: Getting promises that they are not going to fulfill.

I went to vision works in Odessa Texas on August 1, 2022f, found the frames I liked order my glasses and was advised that they would be delivered on Aug 15th. Today is Aug 30, 2023 and still no glasses. I had been calling customer service I called at least 6-10 times, left a message for manager to call me back with no response. Today I called and was told the lab broke the frames that I had picked out and I needed to come in and pick out a different frame due to them not having that frame in stock. No one could tell me that before today of course not. I ask for a refund so that I could buy them from somewhere else. I have never had a problem like this from Vision works and I will never have a problem again because I will go elsewhere. All I can say is that I have been waiting almost a month for a pair of glasses and the customer service sucks. I would have had to wait on the phone for over 30 mins just to talk to someone. My last call was put in Saturday Aug 28th for a higher up manager to call me which he never did. Oh yeah they had promised to give me a refund and still send the glasses but that was also a lie.
