Virgin Experience Gifts Experience canceled, can hardly even get ahold of anyone for a refund.

None of the phone numbers work. The chat line is constantly "busy" where you have to leave a message but no one reaches back out. Emailing takes 24-48 hours to get a single generic response.

My experience was no longer available after having bought it a year ago. I didn't redeem the voucher any sooner because the website upsales the idea that "vouchers never expire" (they state that word for word on their website).

As soon as I noticed the offer was unavailable, I took an hour or two to search to see if I can find something else with the $550 credits they used as a refund. Unfortunately, they offered very little in the ENTIRE STATE OF TEXAS. Half of those experiences were brewery tours or mediocre events not worth attending. That being said, I have no need for the credits to be on my account, but would much rather have the refund if not the experience itself.

I spent $550 on a voucher and am fighting tooth and nail to even speak to someone about getting it back.

AVOID AVOID AVOID

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SITE!

The vouchers CAN and DO expire, although they'll gladly hold onto your money and give you back worthless credits that "don't expire" either.

If you're spending money on the specific experience, please do yourself a favor and go through another site/company. This one is very misleading.

Virgin Experience Gifts Honeymooner Gift of Virgin Experienced Turned Away, No Refund

I purchased a culinary tour as a wedding gift via theknot.com. The couple tried to use it on their honeymoon and was told they could not use it and to reschedule. This couple does not have the means to travel again and would be unable to do that, so i contacted Virgin for a refund. After a month of back and forth and them saying they refunded it, the money has still not hit my bank, so I am now having to dispute the transaction. I just want the money back to give to the newlywed couple. I do not recommend using Virgin Experience Gifts and will never buy from them again.

Recommendation: Do not use them

Virgin Experience Gifts I can't believe it!

I can't believe it! This company wouldn't give me my money back even though my adventure got cancelled because of Covid19. It's so messed up that they're making me choose another date instead. That's just terrible service and it's such a hassle for me. If I can't do the adventure on the day I picked, they should just give me my money back instead of making me pick a new date.

I booked an experience but it was discontinued shortly after I bought it. The website said it was just temporarily unavailable, so I waited patiently for it to come back. But it turns out it was actually discontinued forever, and I missed the 30-day return period. I tried to get a refund, but they said my significant other had to do it even though I did everything myself. They wouldn't give me a refund, so I had my ex call and they still said no. The person I talked to before lied to me. They want me to have my ex call again to release the voucher to me, but it's too stressful to deal with them. Viator is much better and doesn't have these ridiculous policies.

I was so hyped when I booked a Mystic Whaler dinner cruise for my anniversary with Virgin Experience Gifts, but thanks to COVID, the experience got cancelled. What's weird is that I never got an email telling me when I could rebook, so I had to keep checking myself, which is a total pain. I went to the vendor's site and found out they postponed their season, which is cool, I can wait. But today I found out they're out for the whole 2020 season. I wouldn't have known if I didn't look myself, and I think Virgin Experience Gifts should have told me when to book and if the venue cancelled. They should have also given me a longer return policy since these are crazy times. Instead, they told me to wait another year (when the price might go up and they might not even be around) or use it for some lame at-home experience like Blue Apron. I don't want that. They wouldn't give me a refund, so now they're just keeping my money. That's bad business. If they gave me a refund, I would have rebooked and used them again. I won't recommend them to anyone now.

I bought my mom a Mystery Dinner from Virgin Experience Gifts on 11/20 for $269.00. It was supposed to happen in May, but they sent an email the day before saying it was cancelled. I've been trying to get my money back since then, but I can't seem to get a straight answer from anyone I talk to on the phone or email. It's been a real hassle.

Virgin Experience Gifts I got a gift card for a flyin' lesson for my birthday, and I was excited to book it

I got a gift card for a flyin' lesson for my birthday, and I was excited to book it. I got a confirmation of my booking, but then the flight company owner texted me sayin' he was too busy with his "caterin' and crawfish" business to show up for my lesson. He didn't even know if another pilot was available! I asked if we could reschedule, but he just kept talkin' about his crawfish problems. I tried to contact Virgin Experience, but their phone number just plays a short message and hangs up. Their website has a "live chat" button, but it's just a robot tellin' me to email them. I emailed them twice, but all I got back were automated responses. This company took my money and won't help me reschedule or refund my money. I want a full refund, but they won't respond to any of my attempts to contact them.
