Sold my tickets purchased through
Seetickets.com. Only way to transfer is from Seetickets wallet to wallet. Buyer didn't have a wallet. Asked Viagogo for help for over a week; no response. Their customer service is non-existent! Contacted the seller myself and on the day of the concert he advises me his wallet has a different email address. Tickets transferred, buyer happy; all completed finally several hours before the festival.
Two days after the concert, Viagogo cancelled the sale for “non-delivery” and charged my VISA card £240. I've now lost £500. VISA advised of the scam and is disputing with Viagogo.
Have been fighting this for a week. Have sent proof of the ticket transfer, proof of buyers receipt, email from buyer accepting the tickets and thanking me.
I’m being advised that it's my fault for contacting the seller; they're trying to convince me that by doing so I violated the terms and they don't need to pay me. They want 30 days to respond.
Complete BS!
Complained to UK Trading Standards. Will fight this nonstop.
Run from this deceitful organization; don’t buy or sell through their platform. They don’t answer questions and provide zero help through the entire purchase and sale process.
Bought Elton John tickets several years ago which never got delivered. Took three months for the refund. Never again!
