Vestiaire Collective Lost my skirt

Of the 80 items I have sold 4 have been lost compared to none on Grailed and Mercari and 1 on Poshmark where I have sold over 200 items and which paid the minute they realized their mistake Vestiare 2 months to pay for the Helmut Lang skirt they lost. They have lost another item the address did not exist and the idiot at the Help desk though I was the buyer said the package hadn't been mailed yet and there was no tracking both of which are incorrect and then they get an attitude if you won't take them at their word their experts are handling it not an expert on the premises VC is a terrible website they have 1 to 2-star ratings on every site they are rated they sell fakes and also return legitimate items because their staff doesn't know the difference Video I made about my ordeal https://youtu.be/tvcYve6AO6o I provided them with photos and videos a receipt from net a porter along with a letter from them proving the bag was authentic and unused. The buyer just had to say she thought it was fake. Now they have kicked me off the platform for calling them idiots I would have minded, I would have left on my own if they had not LOST ANOTHER ITEM. They have lost a skirt and now I can't look up the tracking

Vestiaire Collective Refusing to pay me/send my item back

I sold a pair of co-ord Dolce and Gabbana silk shirt and trousers BNWT. Sent them to Vestiaire and to my surprise they refused my items claiming theyre fake despite the brand tags and receipt provided. They wanted me to pay £30 for both if i wanted them returned otherwise they will burn them. I did not wanf to pay a single cent as im now out of pocket and my time is wasted. They sent me back the shirt but are now unable to locate the trousers. Got back and forth with them with very generic and poor replies taking days to respond. The replies are inconsistent saying i need to pay, the trousers are on their way bagk, then i need to pay, the prior shipping had an error, and the last one said it’s already returned- all at the same day! So im out of money and item and no one seems to know what to do! I alreafy sold the item on another platform yet cant send them because Vestiaire cant find them!

Desired outcome: Either they pay me for the trousers or send me the item asap

Vestiaire Collective Counterfeit item Louis Vuitton - Luxembourg leather low trainers

I bought a pair of sneakers from the website and used their authentication service.
The item I received is not the real thing, I know since I own two pairs of said sneakers, one pair bought in-store and one pair from their official website.
I can easily compare them to the two real pairs that I own, but I also checked the official Louis Vuitton website and can see that their authentication service should have been able to see it by just comparing them there.
I have tried to contact them but it seems impossible, the forms don't work and the chat is a robot that won't give me any viable options.
The options provided to me is to relist it for free, but why would I relist an item that is counterfeit on their marketplace and scam someone else?
They also set a pretty strict deadline to report said issue, taking into consideration that they make it almost impossible to contact a real human.

Vestiaire Collective Shipping fees

I have A$200 worth of items in my cart to purchase at VC. I have a total of A$600 due to shipping fees. Please remove the shipping fees. With Tradesy, this was not an issue. I cannot believe shipping costs more than the items. Minimal shipping fees is acceptable, however these fees are exorbitant and I cannot go ahead and purchase any items.

Vestiaire Collective Horrible support and horrible platform

I placed a few listing with a transparent background. Only for them to made public two days later with a horrible, unprofessional black background. They don't offer me the option to change it myself to images with a white background. They told me to send them the images with a white background for them to correct the listing. Over a week later and they have done nothing! They say they take up to 48 hours to resolve the issue, even though it is extremely simple. A week later and they have done nothing. I have to remove my listing and post them again from scratch. They take 15% from all your sales and do a horrible job. They constantly send me emails and messages to lower my prices by huge amounts. They want to get money from you and they alter the images you use in your listing making them look horrible, there is no way to change or edit the images on your listing; they told me to send them images with white instead of transparent background and that it would be resolved in less than 48 hours. It has been over a week and they have done nothing and are ignoring all my attempts at contracting them!

Sell your cloths on another website.

Vestiaire Collective Counterfeit ring-uncovered at vestiaire us

Hello,

I have been working with Balenciaga US, and International out of Miami, Fl for the past 3 months helping them build up an investigative case against resellers, Such as Vestiaire Collective, who sell counterfeit items on legitimate sites. Balenciaga, the brand from which I purchased a sweater from on Vestiaire Collective from on 21/11/22, has asked me to work with them after I suspected Vestiaire had sold me a counterfeit item. They confirmed the item has never been made or produced by Balenciaga. Then they opened a case for me to help them get more information of worldwide counterfeit rings. We found Vestiaire Collective Co has been actively working with a popular chinese counterfeit company called Www.BuyMa.com, buying counterfeit items from that site, and allowing members to then list and sell counterfeit items on their platform. The case is still pending against Vestiaire and so is my refund which they said they cannot give me any updates on despite it being almost months since my purchase. The case number originally assigned to me by Vestiaire collective months ago was [protected] and all attached photos below act as proof between the link of Vestiaire and counterfeit rings. I have had four agents work on this but none of them have responded to me for a whole month now. Everyone has gone dark. But oddly enough, I have some YouTuber reaching out to me for my story and reaching out to Balenciaga, Miami HQ to talk more about “The proliferation of mass counterfeit rings” in a future video they wanted to make. Please help me navigate this difficult situation.

Desired outcome: All I wanted was a refund but now due to the lack of action from Vestiaire collective, this has been escalated to a National and worldwide counterfeit ring investigation. I’m still open to anything.

Vestiaire Collective Customer service

Worst customer service I have ever experienced! They just don’t listen and do not help at all.

Sent an authentic item, they refused the item saying it was fake and cancelled the sale, i sent them the proof of purchase and the answer was why the incompetent people they have working there though my item isn’t authentic, even with the proof of purchase!

Now they want me to pay 15£ to have my item back, otherwise “it will be destroyed in 12 months” (actual words from them)

I cant just believe how an app like this is still running and legal.

Go to depop ebay or vinted, even if they are not the best, still better that VC

I also contacted the Better Business Bureau and have started a class-action lawsuit against Vestiaire Collecrivr Co. We are looking for more cases to add to the file against them and would love to hear your experience with them.

Vestiaire Collective Vestiaire Collective

I made two transactions with Vestiaire Collective in December, 2022. The first order was on November 26th for a cashmere beanie. It is being held in customs because the US Customs wants the manufacturer of the product. Vestiaire Collective has not provided this information and the beanie will be returned to the seller on December 24th.

On November 27th, I ordered the second order, a purse, the next day, I received an email from them that they had to cancel the order and they would refund my money. This was on November 28th and still no refund.

This company is a scam and should be shut down!

Also they said they did not have record of my purchases, I do think that this has been straightened out. The company was Tradesy which I have ordered without any issues.

Desired outcome: I want to be reimbursed for the two transactions

Vestiaire Collective Fraud. Missing payout

I sold a high ticket item. They provided a shipping label. The item was delivered to the buyer and my sale was canceled and I didn’t receive a payout. Customer service is non existent and it’s been over a week and no one has gotten back to me. Their email [protected]@vestiairecollective.com

I have very similar situation , Buyer buy the item in full price ,was send out same day and received by buyer in 2 days . Buyer just say ,the item is not genuine and send this back to VC ( I had 14 HD pictures from item ) what was 100% genuine . All serial number clearly visible and very easy to check authenticity . VC quality control receive the item and say fake , w/o even checking anything .

THEY DON'T SIMPLY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO ANY KNOWLEDGE ABOUT this brand " BERLUTI" ,They just say something w/o any proof . Just to avoid payment ,now my item is somewhere and no idea about ,what happen with, now I'm even blocked to open the CHAT and also they don't respond to any emails ! I sold 4 items like this ,all other customers are happy what they get ,as all what I sell is 100 % genuine items ,just 1 customer ( also w/o any knowledge ) say ,it's not genuine and I lost 430.- EURO . YOU CAN'T TRUST THIS COMPANY ,they have horrible customer service and quality control department ,w/o any professional knowledge.

MY ADVICE AVOID AT ANY COST

Vestiaire Collective Service, vestiaire collective robbed me

I have sold 2 products and shipped them, upon checking my account I noticed FedEx confirmed shipment but Vestiare did not, so I have contacted customer support for help. I was promised a quick resolution, however nothing was done and a week later Vestiare canceled both transaction and left me without merchandise and money.

Further more I never received a reply from Vestiare after waiting for over a week.

I do not recommend selling or buying on this fraudster website and will take legal actions against Bestiare next week.

Desired outcome: Would like my money back and will not sell or buy another product from from these fraudsters.

Vestiaire Collective Customer Service

I want to report a fraud on vestiaire collective. I sold a bag on their website, it's $800. I sold it on 12/8 and shipped it on 12/9. At first, after I shipped it, the system won't update it to shipped, rather it says it's not shipped. So I chat with customer service, a person named luis told me to disregard the system, and he asked me to directly contact the buyer. And the buyer asked me if I shipped it, I told her it's been shipped, but system won't update, the fake buyer was very understanding and saying that I could just provide the tracking to her, so she can track it herself, it was obvious the buyer and the customer service were on this together. And then the system suddenly updated to "buyer raised an issue, it's being checked in the hub", but at the same time, I checked fedex, item hasn't been delivered yet and was in the process of shipping to the buyer not the hub. And then system updated to 'bag is not as described with a uploaded fake picture', and I checked the tracking again, the item still hasn't been delivered yet. I sent all the screenshots to the customer service asking him to explain, he never replied. This is absolutely fraud and crime. Now the item has been delivered. I believe they will ship back the bag in the fake picture and claimed I shipped the wrong item, and cancel my order. Please help to look into this! I have been trying to communicate with them, no replies, and I have been leaving reviews online to warn others, but I found a lot of people having similar experiences with me, it's so shocking that a real company can scam their customers this blatantly. And most of them lost more than $500.

Last week, Tuesday 6th December, Jolina on LIVE CHAT told me she had manually precessed / trigger my payment, as this has NOT happened automatically 2 days prior : (I have still not received any payment today 13th December. One week later! 🤷‍♀️ 🐢

I have bills to pay and was relying on this large payment.

Vestiaire Collective Please return my bag to me

My Ysl Toy Loulou sale was cancelled on 25th November 2022 and It has been 2 weeks and VC is not sending my bag back to me.

My sale was cancelled because it didn't pass authentication. However, I have sent everything as described including authentication card. I emailed them to bring up this issue and they told me the expert team is reviewing my case. I emailed and chatted multiple times but left with generic reply 'your patience is appreciated'.

I will pay whatever necessary to get my bag back. Please VC don't steal my bag. I am going to file a police report regarding this. - Nabihah

Vestiaire Collective Fake items

The worst shopping/selling experience ever.

They sold me 2 fake pair of designer shoes noting that every time you buy you HAVE to pay 15eur authentication fees, and in the end you get fake items, so when i contacted them to inform them that the shoes i got (Valentino rockstud heels and D&G sneakers) didn't have any serial number and that they seem so fake, they assured to me that not all shoes should have a serial number to be authentic and that the shoes are authentic for sure, so i tried to sell the Valentino on their website and when it got sold and i shipped it to their warehouses, they refused it saying it's fake, and later on i sold an authentic Valentino which i bought myself from a Valentino store, they refused it saying it's fake, and every time i had to pay shipping fees, import fees back and forth so i lost an amount of around $1200 in the process.

Not to mention that they have the worst customer service ever with dumb automatic bot replies which are almost never related to your issue, plus they take forever to reply.

I've been using ebay and therealreal since years and they are excellent and very professional.

Vestiaire Collective is not recommended at all,

unless you want to buy fake items and lose your money.

A total failure kind of business!

Vestiaire Collective Boots/bag purchased. Neither were as advertised.

Appalling experience.

They have not refunded me for two items I sent back.

The first a pair of boots advertised as size 4, but actually a size 5.

The second a bag advertised as leather but actually polypropylene and likely fake.

Their customer is without a doubt the worst I have ever ever experienced.

I have experienced Gaslighting, ghosting, stonewalling, lying and manipulating, ignoring, contradicting and disconnecting.

I got notifications saying I would receive a refund. I then experience 3 customer care reps in a row who disconnected me.

One of them told me that there expert team had concluded the boots were as advertised, even though 1. They were sent back to the seller, not the team. So a total lie.

They also had previously agreed they were sold not as advertised.

They insisted they had sent me emails advising me to send the boots back and let them know, even though they can see all notifications of emails on my account, and there just were no such emails.

They were changing their tactic and story every time I contacted them.

It’s an aggressive consumer intimidation policy of customer service. That is acruelly illegal.

I had to take a day off work from the stress of been online for 2 hours and the trauma of what I experienced.

They are bad for your mental health.

I’ve had to go to the European consumer centre for resolution.

I will not rest until they pay me what they owe me.

Ultimately it is theft.

They have stolen from me.

Vestiaire Collective Customer agreement was violated

I have sold an item to a buyer through this platform and they day it arrived I got a claim that the item has an issue through a notification in the app.

Based by customer protection within the EU, Vestiaire Collective has the obligation to respect the terms and conditions they are making buyers and sellers to sign.

This was violated by the following:

-the buyer filed a complaint file that was never shared with me

-customer support only responded after 10 days although i had been writing emails and mesaages in the chat asking for help yet mo one responded u til yestersay

- yesterday when i fi ally got a tesponse thye lied to me saying we are working on a solution with the buyer yet the parcel was alrwady returned to me on the address

-the buyer damaged the dress i sold and just returned it to me

-VC did not support in any way this transaction, did not respond to me on time, lied to me about resolving a situation while i was being mislead and sent back a parcel, did not share information with me that they are obliged to share due to terms and conditions in their website

-continued to say we are working on it when it is clearly to late to work on

-refused to answer on time and allow me to prove that item i sent was not damaged but in perfect condition

-i received back a damaged good that was never like this in the first place

Vestiaire Collective Login problems

To whom it may concern,

I've been in contact with their Customer support since Friday 18th of November and they didn't help me at all.

I'm an expert seller on Vestiaire Collective and was using Apple login through safe domain private relay email service (Apple ID). On Thursday, November 17th I changed my private relay email to my personal gmail email through their live chat service with their customer support (because I wasn't receiving their email), who assured me that that is possible. But when they changed my email, my access through Apple login was not possible anymore. Now their customer service activated some account linked to my email that is not mine at all, I keep telling them (sending them screenshots with my username, offering them my ID, personal information, reference IDs from my sold items...) to help me regain my access to my profile but they keep telling me that my account is not existing. Could You please help me speak to someone who could help me solve my problem? I can provide all of the mentioned proofs (ID, reference numbers of my previously sold items, paypal account information, personal information etc).

Vestiaire Collective No way to contact company

I have had several serious issues with VC: un-authorized 15% discount on all my items (and then they take a further 15% commission), banned from chat for no good reason, unable to ship for no reason, +. Customer service is out sourced with no direct connection to the actual company. I think it is run by AI computers. There is no telephone or direct email. Out sourced customer service only reached via Chat or email and they drop you if cannot help (which is always). I have listed over 50 items with them and they add charges without consent. I have been selling and buying with them for 18 months and these incidents started in June or July 2022 and have been getting increasingly worst.

When I first started I could contact directly via telephone for urgent matters (first email, then they would call me). This no longer exists. I have very exclusive and expensive clothing on line with them: They are not trustworthy and I think should be seriously investigated as a business. I believer they are corrupt.

Desired outcome: The business plan only works with some level of trust. Without a proper customer service department this company should not be allowed to trade. The customer needs to be able to contact directly via telephone. VC needs to be accountable.
