On 22 July while travelling through North Carolina I noticed a tire pressure was low. Upon inspection I saw a nail near the center of the tire. I made an appointment at Mr. Tire location 1728 Fordham Blvd, Chapel Hill, NC. 27514 for 9AM on the 24th of July. As soon as they opened, I talked to the front desk person, and he checked me in. He estimated 45 to 1 hour as he was short on technicians. I remained in the premises to wait. As I glance at the shop, I observed my vehicle was never placed on the lift. After an hour and 15 minutes the same gentleman brings the vehicle to the front and informs me the technician did not locate a nail. I questioned this and pointed out that I saw the nail and it was unsafe to operate a vehicle in this condition and he said that there wasn't one. I proceeded to the vehicle, drove it back to the bay and showed the technician exactly where the nail was. He then told me that he had not seen this vehicle as he just came in (1015AM) and he was the only technician working. He repaired the tire and brought the vehicle to the front. Clearly the front desk "manager" misleads me and wasted 1hour 15 minutes of my time. Is this appropriate and professional behavior?
