Subject: Formal Complaint – Unprofessional Conduct by Assistant Manager Larry Conaway
Dear District Manager,
I am writing to formally report an incident involving Assistant Manager Larry Conaway at your store located at 20972 Timberlake Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24502.
On [insert date of incident], I arrived for a scheduled tire installation appointment. To my surprise, I was told there was no record of my appointment. When I asked for help resolving the issue, Mr. Conaway was rude, dismissive, and confrontational. Instead of attempting to assist me, he accused me of being “difficult” — even though I remained calm and respectful throughout the conversation.
His behavior was entirely unprofessional, and I felt disrespected as a customer. This experience not only disrupted my day, but it also left me extremely disappointed in how your store handles customer service issues.
I have already filed a formal complaint with your corporate headquarters, but I wanted to bring this matter directly to your attention. I strongly urge you to review Mr. Conaway’s conduct and take appropriate disciplinary action. No customer should be treated the way I was, especially by someone in a managerial position.
Please confirm receipt of this letter and inform me of any steps being taken to address the issue. I would appreciate a timely response.
