I have been a loyal CVS customer for 40+ years.
April 2020, during the shut-down of the COVID-19 pandemic I purchased Mucinex from your store in Wixom, MI. Realizing immediately afterward that I had bought the wrong Mucinex product, I asked to exchange it for the correct product. I was told that CVS was not accepting returns or exchanges until further notice.
Once CVS lifted that return restriction, I promptly tried to return the Mucinex product with the receipt only to be told that nothing purchased during "that time period" can be returned (CVS policy). How convenient. I called your corporate office, waited on hold for over an hour to speak with someone in another Country who apologized and said they would escalate the situation. That was well over a month ago. I haven't received a phone call, an email, nothing. All of this over $17.00, $17.00 that I could have used since I was laid-off at the time.
Since CVS chose to ignore me, I have switched my prescriptions and my brother's prescriptions to another pharmacy and told our family and friends about CVS's disregard for three of their five values. "Caring, Integrity, Accountability".
I wrote above letter on Aug. 5, 2020-still haven't heard a peep.
Desired outcome: Refund my money
