On 01/15/21, I had my diabetic and antidepressant meds sent to CVS pharmacy on 5350 Cypress st in West Monroe, LA and they called me and told me that they don't accept United Healthcare insurance any longer and that I would have to call a different pharmacy to see if they accepted it and they could get it transferred.
I called Walgreens, they accepted my insurance and they called CVS at 8:00pm, the same night and I never heard back. I waited until 01/16/21 3:50pm, called Walgreens again, they didn't have anything processing. Pharmacist at Walgreens requested transfer again while I was on phone with her. I called CVS and asked them why they haven't transferred my meds and the lady informed me that everyone is having the same problem like me and my meds wouldn't be transferred until Sunday or Monday! I explained to lady that this is my diabetic and antidepressant meds and I couldn't wait. She just told me to call back tomorrow and they MIGHT have it done then. I'm not a woman who complains much because I do realize companies get busy but this is crazy. I cannot go without my diabetic meds for days. I will die. They just act very nonchalant and like they don't care at all. This is not ok. I hope I don't go into ketoacidosis for not having my meds due to CVS pharmacy employees not wanting to click a few buttons on their computer.
