This rental took place at the Avis rental outlet on 8223 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS.
I returned a one week rental vehicle (Mitsubishi Outlander) on Saturday, January 2 at about 9:15 PM. Instructions on the side window referred to leaving keys in a "Locked Box at the front of the store". There is NO lockbox!
So I left the vehicle, with the paperwork inside, and kept the keys with me.
Arrived at the same location Sunday about 10:10 AM. There were 8 people in the lobby waiting to be serviced. The one employee was outside preparing a vehicle to be rented. Rather than wait an indefinite period of time, I put the keys on the counter and left.
Are employees that hard to find? That man obviously needed help!
Desired outcome: At the least they need a real Lock Box and better scheduling of employees!
