Cleveland Clinic - Doctor visits

Since starting with Cleveland Clinic as primary care in January this year, I have yet to receive any viable treatment for the issues I went in for in the first place. My first visit I was given quite a few prescriptions that I had never taken in the past with little or no explanation. Went and did blood work, X-rays, bone density and everything else they requested to get a better idea of what may be causing my issues. All of which cost me a small fortune out of pocket. Went back in for results, was told I had bone loss, arthritis and was referred to a Cleveland Clinic rheumatologist. I had been given Fosamax to start as well as receiving the COV vaccine and was suffering severe muscle pain. Went in to see her, she was abrupt, impatient, rushed and unhelpful. She said she was prescribing prolia as she was pushing me out the door with orders for X-rays and more blood work, I asked why she was rushing me, I still had no idea what exactly was wrong with me, had several questions and she said we can talk next time. I told her I was in pain and really needed some relief. She told me osteoporosis does not cause pain and to see my regular physician. I was very upset and had a video call with my doctor. After that visits, I received several phone calls from the office until she finally left a message apologizing for her behavior. While I was relieved, I no longer had any trust in her ability to listen and empathize. Did all the testing, again, most of which had been done in February already, out of pocket costs again, then went back for my follow up. I recorded the entire visit. She told me I had arthritis and osteoporosis (already knew that) my insurance didn't cover the $1, 600 prolia shot and my blood work was fine. I said it isn't fine, I too can see the results my globulin was terrible along with a few other things. She said maybe I had an infection and that was causing issues. I said shouldn't I get an antibiotic and she said she doesn't prescribe that I need to see my regular doctor. I asked about a small lump that had appeared and I could feel in my head but couldn't see, possibly a tick I picked up, she said there are no ticks in Florida. I told her I didn't want the prolia and asked if it was possible the COV vaccines I had received caused the pain I was having and perhaps we could try the Fosamax again. She said maybe. She prescribed me more muscle relaxers and was dismissing me and I still don't know what's wrong with me. Do I have arthritis? Rheumatoid arthritis? I asked her about possible physical therapy to help. It was like I am coaching her to try and get some relief and answers. It was ridiculous. When I get home I'm reading her notes and half the things she noted she never even discussed or asked me. I was glad I recorded our visit. I then make an appointment with physical therapy via Cleveland Clinic, go see my regular doctor, get antibiotics, 5 prednisone and a couple painkillers. I was better in a week. Physical therapy then calls and cancels my appointment due to staff issue. I called back and left a message to reschedule and no one ever called me back. So I cancelled my September appointment with the rheumatologist and went for a check up today. So I go in 15 minutes early as you request and no one comes to the window for almost 15 minutes. People are already waiting. Why do you that? Is my time not as important as yours? The visit charge per my insurance is over $300.00 for maybe 15 minutes max of the doctors time. I'm literally paying someone to be rude, waste my time and provide me zero care. Now after I did the five prednisone and nine hydrocodone I didn't need a single over the counter pain relief for over 3 months. I have been working pretty hard and I can feel the inflammation starting so I asked the doctor if we could do the same therapy. He said no, Cleveland Clinic has no pain contract. I had no idea any such thing existed nor what it was. I would have to go to a pain management clinic. I said I don't want to get daily pain pills, the remedy we did worked and the fact I wasn't killing my liver with daily Tylenol and Advil I would think is a bonus especially since I've had a colostomy and stomach issues in the past. But he said if I wanted anything not over the counter for pain that's the only option. I asked for a referral to an orthopedic. All I want to know is why am I inflamed, why am I in pain. I get the referral, call the orthopedic and they don't accept my insurance. So now I'm waiting for the doctors office to get me a new one. I am just trying to understand why I pay my insurance company a fortune, why Cleveland Clinic charges them an exorbitant amount of money and almost a year later all I have to show for it is a medicine cabinet of unused unnecessary pills the pharmaceutical companies charge huge sums for? I remember when I could go to one doctor for my care and it wasn't that long ago. I feel like Cleveland Clinic is a scam sending you doctor to doctor with no satisfaction. Had I gone in there demanding pain killers everyday, refusing to get any testing, I could see being made to go to pain management, but only asking when I am obviously in distress while waiting to get answers seems inhuman and uncaring. Sending me to a pill mill to encourage daily pain medication is irresponsible. Those places should be reserved for the most desperate and the junkies. What in the world has happened to the healthcare system? Round and round and round….

Desired outcome: Better Healthcare for anyone going to Cleveland Clinic.
