This is an example of excessive refill. TAMSULOSIN HCL 0.4 MG CAPSULE, Generic for: Flomax, Take 1 capsule by mouth every day. 90 EA, NDC: [protected], DATE FILLED 9/30/21. I am still taking pills from this bottle of pills. Then refilled on 12/7/21. Then refilled again on 2/15/22. I told the Pharmacist to stop auto refills on all medications and that I will call when I need a refill. They still auto refill my medications.
Desired outcome: Please have the Pharmacy Stop auto refills and stop calling all three phones in my household twice a day.

To understand this, consider that CVS is a for profit organization. I discussed this with my PCP today. She states that they are clearly working the system, particularly Medicare, to cash in with extra charges by putting your prescription regimen out of sync. They make more money by filling prescriptions one at a time, instead of having you get everything on the same date. But, as I pointed out to PCP, it is even worse than that. I have had the same insurance for years. Depending on the date my script is filled, it could cost me 73 cents or 20 dollars, and they attempt to capitalize on that too. I plan to launch an investigation into this. Stay tuned.
