On 12/30/2022 I purchased a 2015 Nissan Rogue from US Auto Sales, located at 1423 Asheville Highway Spartanburg, SC 29303. Included in my loan contract was a specified amount of $2795.00 for a 2 year warranty that would be included in my bi-weekly car payments. After the 2 years were up, it was communicated that my payments would go down. On 05/31/2023 I received an email from Westlake Portfolio Management that they were my new service provider and that US Auto Sales closed down 04/17/2023. After speaking with Westlake multiple times, I have been advised that US Auto Sales sent over my contract to include the warranty price; the warranty is no longer valid but I still have to pay for the price of the warranty with my loan. When asked if the warranty price can be removed from the loan to lower my bi-weekly payments, they advised it would not be possible AFTER already being told by a Westlake supervisor that my payments would go down and they would take care of it. On 06/08/2023 I visited Founders Federal Credit Union to see about refinancing my auto loan. I was advised by the bank that my car is only worth $11,000 and my total loan amount was $21,165 so I was severely overcharged for my vehicle. Westlake Portfolio Management did not take over the warranty so I am stuck in an upside down contract due to promises made by US Auto Sales that were never fulfilled with no warranty on my vehicle. Before US Auto Sales closed down, I found out they never paid the company that was servicing the warranty, so my warranty was inactive the entire time while still paying for it.

Desired outcome: I would like to be released from the contract or have the warranty amount removed from my loan so my payments are lower.
