I hired Urban Prime Interior Finishing Ltd. to do insurance renovations. They showed me photo albums and had personal references of their previous work. They promised to finish the job within 2 months and the insurance company paid them in full. However, even after 1 year, the work was still not completed. They kept making excuses and promises, but never showed up to work.

The quality of their work was below average and some of it was done so poorly that we had to fire them and hire another contractor to fix their mistakes. For example, they installed a vinyl plank floor without measuring the cuts properly, resulting in jagged edges and now the floor is starting to buckle. They also placed new floor tiles over the existing ripped linoleum, and when the floor was uneven, they tried to fix it by using a mud product. Additionally, they put a tile backsplash over old wallpaper, causing damage to the closet door track because they tried to fit the flooring underneath instead of making proper cuts. They even attempted to connect a dishwasher by running the electricity from an existing 110 wall outlet, which was not safe or appropriate.

I had to spend approximately $9000 to fix and complete the work that Urban Prime Interior Finishing Ltd. had left unfinished and poorly done.
