awful company
I have not received a box that hasn't had smashed and torn corners or holes from UPS. They will not allow you to pick up a package unless you call the day before to stop the delivery. Virtually no weekend service. Missed delivery on a Friday that required a signature. I was left an "InfoNotice" which only information was that they would attempt a 2nd deliver on Monday. There was no reference of where I could pick it up. I called the 1800 # after I got home on Friday to find out where the package was so I could pick it up. I was told I could do one of two things: 1) Cancel the Monday delivery and pick it up Tuesday. Or 2) Hopefully receive the delivery Monday, but if I did not I must call before midnight to cancel Tuesdays delivery and pick it up Tuesday. Either way I do not receive my package in time. I could not go pick up my package Saturday or Sunday because of the "processing" required.
Thank god, my prescription drugs are sent via fedex and not UPS.

won't ring my bell
The UPS center at Maspeth is notoriously bad at getting your package to your house in a timely matter. However, apparently there was a change of drivers for my area, and the week before Christmas showed an amazing improvement in UPS' deliveries. The driver actually left giant boxes behind the house, on a set of stairs to the basement.
This week, however, I ordered something with guaranteed two-day shipping. I was not at home at the time of attempted delivery, but I know there was someone there in my place. I came home to find an InfoNotice and proceeded to be frustrated. The driver actually came up to the house, only to not ring our door bell and leave a notice. Now, I have to wait until Monday the fourth because they won't deliver tomorrow, or Friday, or on weekends. I never use UPS willingly, and this just enforces that opinion.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Today, there WASN'T even a slip showing an attempt when I got home today. Then, I checked tracking, only because I remembered that it was scheduled for this week, and the UPS "InfoNotice™" had blown into the bushes! If I hadn't checked, I wouldn't have even known!
It is covered with the usual scribbles so one doesn't have a clue. (These forms are worse than ever.)
And of course this means I wont see it until Monday, as they are off Thursday and Friday and don't deliver on weekends. Or even later, as the driver won't take the signed slip, even if I nail it to the door with a body part...
I now ALWAYS specify any shipper EXCEPT ups whenever I order anything that needs to be shipped. USPS works best, for me, for these small packages. But not all vendors have the option, or only some 'next-day' lunacy.
I had a great UPS driver in my area in Detroit, Michigan. We got a new drive in November. He left packages by my side door on the driveway, obviously visible by anyone walking or driving down the street. My other delivery person rang the doorbell and if there was no answer, he proceeded to the backdoor.
The new driver left a notice without even ringing the doorbell if a signature is required.
I want my old driver back.
bad bad service
So you UPS said they would deliver by the 25th (Christmas). It shipped out on the 19th. I figured, they said the 25th, I'd give them to the 26th. Now, they are delivering on the 31st. It was a gift for my wife. She and I understood that it would be 'delayed' as standard shipping takes 4-6 days for this item which weighs under 12lbs. However, we were hoping to get it by the weekend since we would be visiting family. Now, some may say... it is delayed due to the holiday season.
Well, I worked for UPS unloading trucks on the rollers. 2000 packages per hour per 2 persons. And although more trucks come in during the holiday season, there are more docks, and more employees to handle them. So the delay is not because of the volume. In fact, UPS prides itself on efficiency. UPS delivers over 1 million packages a day. Very much like the Post Office, which handles 800, 000 packages a day. So it isn't the volume increase, because the system can handle it. So what is it?
It's the personnel. UPS employees don't care about your package. They don't care about damaging... about losing them... in fact many OPEN them... to peek if it's something they like. High end purses, cell phones, car parts, were some of the things I know were taken from customers. And they wanted to open the boxes going to rich zip codes such as beverly hills, manhattan beach, malibu, palos verdes, santa barbara, montecito, etc.
UPS publishes their findings on efficiency, volume, satisfaction. However, they don't publish any findings on complaints, unsatisfied customers, and damaged goods.
So when I sent out (2) large picture frames from a small business I own, I had the UPS clerk package them (otherwise they're not insured - even if you pay for insurance - very fine print). I knew the risks. And sure enough, they lost (1), damaged another. It was sent back to the hub were it layed for 8WEEKS. All along, I had UPS customer service saying that the item was thrown in the trash because it was unsalvageable. And who decides what is unsalvageable? The guy that damages it. The same guys that kicks to make sure it's broken more. The same guy that looked in the box, liked it, and the placed it as a damaged item. Usually, even damaged items make it back. However, sometimes, when they see that it isn't pricey or if there was no insurance (or the possiblity of paying on a claim), the simply discard it.

Dear Jessica, The main reason why I'm petitioning to you is because the personnel at the store "don't know anything about it", is what I've been told. I have gotten no call backs and no information other than what I find on UPS.com. The personnel is completely unconcerned and unprofessional. All I want, is my item back, regardless of the condition. There is no reason to keep it and/or dispose of it. I paid a fee to handle this item, which was clearly marked "fragile" several times. Now the item is broken and I'm getting no answers, from them or you. Jessica, this is a start up business and these were my first orders. Two (2) of them resulted broken. Clearly the lack of knowledge at the UPS Store and the failure to expressively inform the customer contributed to this issue. I am not happy with the service at UPS so far. I must ask that you close my account and delete my information from your system. I expect my item to be returned as UPS has no right to keep, dispose of, or otherwise keep MY property. You were paid to handle, not decide it's outcome. I can care less about the claim, I would like my item back."

UPS Customer Service"
Well, 2 months later, I received a card saying I could pick up my item at the Cerritos customer center.
I didn't. I refunded my customer her money. I switched to FedEx. I just received an invoice for $53.45 from UPS for my account dues. Didn't I cancel that account with customer service. Oh yea, they don't care.
Bottom line... DON'T USE UPS. As a former customer, a former employee, and current FedEx user, DON'T USE UPS.

UPS promised, and I paid for it to be delivered the next day. I tracked the shipment till it was ready for the last leg at 10:00 PM on Friday, but it was delayed till after the weekend. Their last e-mail to me stated: (Any package that arrives after 10:00 a.m. at the destination facility is unable to go out that same day, )!
I still keep copies of their e-mail!

late deliveries, no information
I am increasingly frustrated by UPS delivery, my last 6 deliveries were consistently 2-3 days late. The driver didn't make any attempt and put a fake entry in the tracking system" Recipient no available". But in reality he never made an attempt as i was home that day/time ( since i work from home) and there was no info notice on the door.
My last delivery was a " 2 day service " and reached me after one week. Even then finally i have to pick it myself from the local UPS facility.
I have lodged several complains about it with customer service, but no body ever returned the call.
Even now when i am writing this complaint, i am waiting for a delivery to happen, but i know it won't happen. Interestingly the system shows delivery happened at some place in IL and i live in CT date of delivery is 12/03.

Residential deliveries that do not require a signature may be left in a safe place, out of sight and out of weather, at the driver's discretion. This could include the front porch, side door, back porch, or garage area. If you have instructed the driver to leave the shipment with a neighbor or leasing office, this would be noted on a yellow UPS InfoNotice left by the driver.

ups does not prctice what they preach
I am a Christmas help employee for UPS in Montana. We make $8.50 an hour to ride along with a driver and deliver packagess. My driver chewed tobacco and spit it out in the street and on peoples property. He drove the truck while texting, he almost hit a small chevy. i had to yell watch it.
We are constantly getting in and out of truck and are told to run, drop pacakege, no pl;astic protection, sometimes no signatures and are told to just drop at front door. Even if the package is visible. They do not respect the helpers . i was told by the driver that the good thing about ups is that they don't drug test. What? Thats scary...

idiot drivers
I ordered christmas gifts online to be delivered on 12/15/09. My hubby works nites so he stayed alert all day waiting for UPS to deliver. After no sign of package around 7pm that day, i checked tracking. I was alarmed when ups claims that the package was delivered 10am 12/15. Further investigation revealed that driver "claims" the package was left behind a DUST PAN on the porch. WTF... a box containing 299.99 game system was left with no knock, ring, or rap on the door. Not even placed between front door. UPS claim that it is the drivers discretion to leave packages. The driver must be an IDIOT to leave any box behind a flimsy DUST PAN. Right now iam sitting waiting for the replacement to arrive. I will not be using UPS if I can avoid it. They are moroons.

So I ordered a few objects online early in the week and it was crucial that they be delivered before the weekend. I got home from work on Thursday and there wass a missed delivery notifcation on the front door. I thought, "Ok, Friday is fine. I will be able to get it all together Saturday." On the back of the notification there is a place to sign that removes UPS from all liability due to lost/damages that results from the driver leaving the package. I signed it and left it on the front door for the driver to see. Well I got home today, Friday, after a long day at work and there was a second missed delivery notification. The idiot either didn't look at the notification or looked at it and ignored it. So I called the number on the notifications. The lady on the other end of the line said, "He was probably protecting your packages because they were electronics." Ok that is fine and all but when the objects need to be recieved before a certain date so I can have everything put together on time it is a little annoying. I am going to the delivery hub later tonight to pick up the packages. If tey lost them or something like that I will rip someone's head off.
My wife was taking our son to the doctors on Thursday. She got off the highway and was traveling a little country road which the doctors office is on, when a UPS driver crossed the double yellow line. He was coming straight for our minivan. My wife swerved hard to the right to avoid getting hit head on. She ended up hitting the curb and ending up on the grass in front of someone's house. Distroyed the tire on the van, but everyone was okay. UPS driver just kept going. Never stopped. I do some work with UPS in our area, and I will find out from the higher ups in our area who this diriver is. UPS has recently put GPS traking in there vehicles. I have the date and location the incident happened and they can track the vehicle location as well as the speed of the driver. I will find out the truth.
service
Don’t use UPS for rapid delivering, even you pay money, they don’t care. I have paid 2 days for package delivering from New York to Des Moines, IA. 2 weeks I’m still not receiving my package even the packages arrive in Des Moines after 1 day of purchase day. UPS Des Moines is lazy. I have found out a lot of complains about UPS service in Des Moines. If you want to use UPS service think twice before.

ups is a lair & terrible customer service
Case 1:
I had a package that sent from UK and confirmed that the package will be delivered before 11am, however the package was delivered about 4pm. It doesn't matter if only few hours later, the most terrified me is the tracking record showed that the package has been signed by me at 11am! The truth is - the Australia UPS driver never ask me to sign me anything, he just left me the package then go ... but UPS lie that I have received it on time which is not true!
Case 2:
The customer service in Australia is terrible! The most terrible customer service I've ever met in my life! I've talked to a lady regarding to the procedure of return the package. The lady called Athena picked up my phone and I tried to let her know my situation but she told me she doesn't really understand, and asked me to talk to the company in UK because she is not responsible on it. after then I explained to her more details and she just cut my line and said thank you for calling bye. This is unbelievable and my first time to experience like this.
Case 3:
Another urgent package which was sent from China at 11 Dec and it has been scheduled to deliver on 14 Dec before 7pm. The online tracking site showed that the package has been arrived to Melbourne, Australia at 12 Dec. I've been waiting a whole day long but the UPS driver didn't come ... so I rang up to the customer service and the lady in Malaysia told me that she had no idea why the driver didn't deliver the package on time. God the shipment delay made everything delay ... I don't know what's wrong with that but I am still waiting for the driver to come, and UPS didn't explain me the reason why the shipment has been delayed even it's already in Melbourne. See below proof photo.
Don't use UPS! UPS IS THE WORST COMPANY I'VE EVER MET! I will not use UPS anymore! Fedex or DHL are better than UPS so so so so much! This is so terrible to deal with UPS and their business manner is totally disgusting!

randomly changing delivery address
To make a long story short, I was screwed around by UPS for a couple weeks because they decided to change the name and address on my package without contacting the shipper or myself- the receiver which in my mind constitutes mail fraud.
To see how they enjoy having their time wasted I'm posting the direct number to the Concord Hub so anyone that has been screwed around trying to get a response can call them directly.

Brilliant! Thank you. My package ended up flying to BC instead of getting delivered locally. I could not get any useful information out of representatives on UPS Live Chat. While waiting, I googled your post, called the number and got my questions answered quickly. Thank you!
lost package
was waiting for a package when I find out it was supposedly delivered and left at my front door, come to find out first they don't know which front door they left it at, then they tell me that it was not delivered to the front door but delivered to my mailman who was suppose to deliver it. I called the company from where the package was coming from they...

incompetence, lying
Here is the tracking results for my package it was shipped on 11/24/09, (Service 3day). It's now 11/30/09 and my package is still not delivered. But this is not the worst thing. The worst thing is the unbelievable lie they posted on their website. It says "the receiver is on a holiday. Delivery will be attempted when the receiver returns / package will be delivered next business day-no saturday guarantee". How can I be on holiday if I live in a private house in extreme residential area (The closest business is the gas station about 2.5 miles from my house). Above that it's already monday and the last scan is destination scan and delivery is rescheduled for tomorrow. Things like that happen to everyone that uses ups, fedex, dhl, etc. But they should at least post an information like that:
The driver will not deliver you package today because he/she wants to go home early (To recover after thanksgiving... Hangover). That would be a true and maybe I wouldn't be so angry reading the lies they post. If somebody doesn't want to work (I thought we are in recession) let him/her go and hire somebody who will not roll the packages under the belt, even though they're due that very day. Unions+lazy employees+incompetent management=horrible business model. But who cares!

ups package never received
I sent a package to someone through UPS Overnight Delivery. In the morning, I tracked it and the website said it was delivered and signed for. I called the recipient and he said he never got anything. He has a roommate and his roommate said the same thing. The driver claims he gave it to the roommate but we know he got his own package and it wasn't what I was sending. Now UPS is doing an investigation, and they said it will take a week. The package was very important and valuable and I paid a lot to have it delivered. I want to get my money back too. I am very upset about this and horrified by UPS. It sucks that they do most of the deliveries in the US.

I sent a large package to my daughter, who lives in an apartment in New York. The cost to send it UPS was $89.29. She works 3 jobs and is never home - I never asked that it be delivered "signature only", and assumed they would leave it! Wrong! Two notes were left for her, and she was to call and set a time to pick it up. She tried to do so, and never could talk to a UPS agent because "their system was down". By the time she finally spoke to someone in New Jersey, she was told the package was on it's way back to me in California and there was "nothing they could do"! I will never use UPS again, and I know I will never see my money again. Worst customer service in our country. Shameful !
damaged item in shipping no reimbursement
I recently paid nearly $200 to have an electronic/digital piano shipped by UPS. This item was packed in a professionally designed and built hard-shell case specifically made for transporting this particular item multiple times on the road during concert tours, etc. In addition, it was wrapped shut with several layers of packing tape.
It arrived at its destination damaged beyond repair. The recipient told me about it, I filed a claim with UPS, and they responded saying the latches had come undone and the item had fallen out of the case and was damaged. How the latches had come undone is a mystery as they were locked shut, not to mention the layers of packing tape that would have kept the case closed even if they latches were undone. And, it was obvious then that they knew about the damage prior to dropping off the shipment, with no mention of it to the recipient.
I will never give UPS another dime of my money as long as I live.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Well if you go on the ups website, there are packaging guidelines.. YOUR PACKAGE NEEDS TO BE IN A BOX!
if it's not, you're shipping at your own risk? They don't have workers that hand carry your merchandise.. They have conveyor belts and sorting systems.. If it hits something and the latch comes undone your "professionally designed" case does NOTHING but open up, and while the pkg is still moving and then slides down in the packaging bin, COULD IT POSSIBLE BE THAT... Gasp! The product could come out and possibly be damaged? They have their guidelines for particular reasons! such as this! Maybe it's a good thing you won't be using ups anymore that way if something was damaged because idiots don't package them properly, they aren't shelling out money they shouldn't be!
scam charge
I called the UPS Store at 211 E Lombard St in Baltimore last week to ask 1) whether there were any fees associated with receiving a package there and 2) whether I would receive a phone call when the package arrived.
To the first question I was told, yes, there's a receiving fee and, if the package is held overnight, a holding fee.
To othe second question I was told that if the sender wrote "Hold for pickup" and my phone number on the package, that I would receive a call. Making sure, I repeated this instruction to the employee, "So if the sender writes 'hold for pickup' and my phone number on the package, you will call me the day it arrives?" He said, "Yes."
But they didn't call me the day it arrived. Wondering why I hadn't yet heard from them, I called the UPS Store. They said, yes, your package is here.
I went to pick it up. They charged me the holding fee.
The person I assume is the manager said it was my fault the package was held overnight. "YOU call. You're supposed to call."
I told him that I was told by an employee of this very store that if the package bore the words "hold for pickup" that I would be the one receiving a phone call. I pointed out the words on my package that said "hold for pickup", followed by a phone number.
He said, "How are we supposed to know to call you? You call if you want to pick up your package."
I repeated my claim using different words (maybe he didn't get it the first time). I asked him at least to acknowledge that it wasn't my fault that I got bad information from an employee.
He responded, "We can't know to call. You call."
More back and forth like this escalated to the point where I was almost shouting, "I was TOLD you'd call! I double-checked! There are instructions on the package to call which I wouldn't have even bothered with if someone at YOUR store didn't give me said instructions."
He wouldn't do that. I don't blame him for saying "I don't want to talk to you anymore, " because I was clearly upset, but I didn't start out being upset.
He didn't hear me, wouldn't listen, wouldn't acknowledge that one of his employees gave me bad information. Nothing. He didn't even know what I was saying.
I can't help it if a business uses UPS to send me packages, but I won't be using them to deliver any.

pathetic service, delivery not ontime
I ordered some computer components from California, USA to be shipped to me in Lusaka, Zambia. The items arrived at Lusaka International Airport on time on Sunday, but here is what happened on:
UPS’ authorised local contractor, Mercury Express Logistics, phoned on Monday, 9 November 2009, to find out if it was okay to clear the items, so I said yes but they need to let me know the clearance charges. They told me Kwacha 173, 800 (Zambian Currency). She said they would let me know by lunchtime if that was the final charge.
3 O’clock came and went and still no call from them. I phoned them to ask what was going on so the man who answered, Jerome, said I could come and collect the packages if they were ready. As I was working, I asked if I could send my son to go and see them as it would be easier to receive clarification, which they said was fine.
My son went there and was told that the items had not been cleared as payment needed to be received first. This was around 1530 – 1600hrs.
He was told to wait so they could find out what the charges would be. After a few minutes the woman at their branch located at Lusaka International Airport spoke to him on the phone and said they couldn’t give a clearance charge as they did not know what any of the items are except for the cables. Correct me if I am wrong but surely it was on the waybill that these are computer parts/components etc.
After another 15-20 minutes he was then told he had to pay Kwacha 1, 335, 325 that was for customs duty, clearance and VAT. As he did not have enough money he said he would come back the next day to pay.
So, my sent went at around 13:40 on Tuesday, 10 November 2009, to pay:
He was given the amount to pay, the same as yesterday, and paid it in full
He asked when the items were delivered and they said, most likely, only Thursday (bearing in mind that the distance from the airport to them to my house is something like 15 kilometres).
As my son is sorting out the shipment he just got a call from Mercury Express to say that they thought we had paid AIT (Advanced Income Tax – which is only meant to be for goods for commercial and not personal use).
She then turns round and says she didn’t think we would have to pay the AIT after she said she thought we had already paid AIT.
That means we will now have to go and pay another amount and as it is there is already a fuel shortage at the moment and I cannot be going there everyday just to have them say something else is wrong.
On top of this, my son has taken time off studying to receive shipment, then to sort our payment etc. so basically they are just messing us around.
Something very strange is going on. I don’t see how UPS can claim that “An unforeseen event has occurred” when all that has happened is that they have given false information and bad service. I knew that I would have to pay duty and clearance fees but it is not my job to chase them up to find out what these are, only to have them give me a different answer every time!
Is there anyone at UPS I can contact to make an official complaint and ask for a refund because this is now just ridiculous?

I am happy customer as UPS Zambia contracted through Mercury Express have been efficient in my case.I received my package from Japan a day earlier than the scheduled date.WOW! During the time the package was in transit, I was able to track its movement through the internet from Japan to South Africa to Zambia. When the package reached in Lusaka on monday earlier than the scheduled wednesday.Now.., thats what I call efficency, proper time delivery.I was able to collect my package on tuesday without any tiring transactions. When i went to the Mercury offices in Chipata, I got package simply by signing on collection. No fees were charged.
I sympathiesize with other customers who have had bad experiences with UPS, i hope all will go well in their next transactions.
For me, its thumbs up for UPS Zambia for a job well done!
Can you please find out what has happened to my parcel ref no [protected] Deltec international have confirmed that you have reieved on the 05/10/11 addressed to ALinani Arthur Siame
I also saw this:

Maybe that is why they were messing you around?
I'm in Zambia too and have had bad experiences with UPS Zambia, contracted to Mercury Express. Here are UPS Zambia details for those who want to confirm that we are both talking about Mercury Express Zambia (not sure if they are called Mercury Couriers Zambia as some sites seem to list them as that):
Mercury Express Logistics, Authorized Service Contractor for UPS,
Plot 6392 Dunduza Chsidza Road,
Lusaka,
Zambia.
Tel.: +[protected]
Tel.: +[protected]
These Mercury Zambia people also tried to convince me that I have to pay AIT, even though I phoned the Zambian Revenue Authority for confirmation that I do not. UPS Zambia should be changed to USELESS PATHETIC SERVICES Zambia, "Zambian couriers for lack of service and growth in mistrust". I too had to wait around while they made up their mind what applicable customs fees and clearance charges there would be. Someone agreed I may as well have sent the package to Lusaka International Airport and cleared / collected it there myself.
As for UPS in the US, they claim they would contact UPS in Zambia to find out what was going on and haven't even bothered. They claim it's because of the time difference. We both had bad experiences with UPS, not just from the US but Zambia too. Is that not saying something? Why use UPS or Mercury Express Zambia when you can use another Zambian courier that will offer better service than UPS? All it comes down too is that we are pathetic Africans (that's the "P" in UPS) and therefore should be treated like crap. On top of that UPS in the US should be nailed for false advertising. They claim that I could get a refund because my shipment arrived on time and I needed to leave leeway for clearance etc. Is it niallm1's fault and my fault that Mercury Express Zambia / UPS Zambia services are so pathetic; that does not count as an unexpected delay, that is Utterly Pathetic Service (UPS) is it not?
FedEx Zambia offers much better service and treats you with respect; no lies, no BS and in fact gives you more info than you need. I asked them in advance to find out clearance charges for me and the woman gave me that, as well as which flight the package may arrive on and an estimated delivery date. UPS Zambia did none of this. It's a pity you already shipped by UPS. Do not even bother with Mercury Express Zambia, authorised contractor for UPS. Spend a bit more next time on services from something like FedEx or DHL and have peace of mind.
lost package refusal of claim
Sent 2 Money Gram money-orders worth $750.00 from Salisbury MD to Aurora IL on 10/16/2009 by tree day ground service.
UPS lost it and refused the claim saying it will only re-imburse the cost of paper!
Not only they lost my $750 but also refusing the claim on flimsy ground. Will make sure to take them to court and let all the businesses in the Salisbury Mall and all my customers know about this company!

so just cancel the money order and have it reissued, you dope. Next time, don't use UPS for this kind of "transaction"
left package in the pouring rain
I waited all day for a laptop and found out at 7 pm that the package was missed at the UPS facility.(put on the wrong truck is what another UPS driver told me.) The next day it was going to rain so I put out a large tote and left a note on my front door to please put it in the tote. The next day the driver left the laptop in the pouring rain but fortunately I got out of work early and the shipper was smart enough to double box the item. If they were too lazy to put it in the tote they should have at least put it in a plastic bag.The outer box was soaked.Does anyone know the number I can call to complain?Their web site is a joke.

damaged/stolen goods
I shipped nine cartons containing household goods, 7 had minimum (automatic) $100 insurance, Two were insured for $300. Three boxes had been opened and goods stolen, the two insured for $300 (original artwork) were damaged. I tried to FILE the complaint on line (yes, there is a form where you enter the tracking numbers) and up popped a message on all numbers "This shipment is not eligible for insurance claims". I EMAILED customer service, was told the cartons had to remain "as is", i.e. UNPACKED until a claims agent could be sent out...unknown when that would be. I needed my clothes, at least those that were not stolen. I TELEPHONED and was told "until an agent arrives, we cannot settle your claim". I was in a one- room efficiency apartment with five damaged large cartons and could not even walk around. UPS makes it impossible to file a claim, much less collect. That was eight months ago, no agent has ever contacted me. I finally had to unpack and toss the cartons out in order to LIVE. UPS is a rotten company. I ship FED EX now with no damages nor stolen goods. A neighbor told me UPS lost her heirlooms and went through the same non-claim nonsense...no claims for her either. Someone should investigate UPS practices and policy lies.

I ordered 2 concert tickets (was worth $300) from a trusted website to attend a Katy Perry Concert in Phoenix. The package was shipped on September 1, 2014 and arrived in Tempe two days later. At that point, I was under the impression they were going to deliver it soon. Between September 3rd and 12th, someone stole the tickets. I reported it to both UPS and the seller on September 12th. UPS started an investigation and searched for a week without finding the package. UPS called me about it three times and did not apologize. The seller provided replacement tickets and apologized for the inconvenience. I expect more from UPS since it's their fault. I will never use UPS again.
This end up means absolutely nothing to UPS. When the truck opened the rear door to unload my replacement AV receiver it was leaning on it's corner.
A 50 pound box thrown around while it finally gets to my address with COD charges on a replacement item. I send it back so UPS can through it around some more.
When I finally sort out the paper work my item is shipped. The box looked like it went through WWII. The bottom was taped where the 50 pound AV receiver broke through and hit the ground on it's corner. UPS will never see a dime from me as long as I'm breathing on this planet. Companies like this should be sued for more than the cost of the item. What about the carbon cost on something that has already been shipped successfully from over sees only to have UPS wreck it in one throw! This is the second damaged
unit UPS has shipped me! $4000.00 of garbage...Thanks for nothing you corporate [censor]!
items returned to sender
I had a dispute through Paypal for items that were purchased through ebay. The sender sent the items to me and UPS attempted delivery the first time I was not here. The second day I was not home and they left the info notice. I signed the form for them to leave my package. On Friday I come home that day and find out that there is no package but there is another notice on the door stating that I have to go to pick it up. I immidietly call to find out why the driver did not leave my package. they said they would redeliver on Monday. Someone even called me on Saturday to confirm delivery on Monday. Nothing delivered then either so I call on Tuesday they state that will deliver on Wednesday. On wednesday nothing so I am all fired up and come to find out that Thursday my items were back to the sender and the rep was so freakin rude. Paypal issued a refund($275) because he attempted delivery and so I am out of items and no money because of STUPID UPS. I will not ever use them AGAIN! They tell me that there is nothing that I can do against them? If anyone knows of anything I can try please help!

Next time use FedEx (express saver service). It costs a little bit more than ground. But trust me it's worth it.
