United Trust Bank is amazing, they deserve 5 stars, but our loan officer, let me tell you, he deserves a whopping 10 stars! His last name is like a lucky charm. You won't believe it, but I've been going through a tough time for the past two years with medical and financial troubles. I had no idea if we would ever get a home foreclosure notice. But then, Mr. came to the rescue! He pulled me out of a never-ending paperwork mess from a previous loan modification that had been going on for over a year. Can you imagine that?

Thanks to Mr. professional skills and determination, he worked tirelessly with the United Trust Bank underwriters to navigate through a super complicated VA loan refinance process. We had so many conference calls, and let me tell you, this guy has some serious verbal skills. He was like a ninja, using his words to resolve a technical problem with the current loan servicer and a previous one. It was all about getting the right documentation for my prior COVID loan forbearance period. I was blown away by his expertise!

On April 17, I started the cash-out loan process with United Trust Bank and my loan officer was ***. On April 26,2021, *** emailed me asking for my credit card info for the $500.00 appraisal fee. I sent the form through the *** document system on April 27. On April 28, I called *** to let her know that we didn't want to continue with the loan and that we were going with my husband's credit union because they had a better interest rate and fees. On May 4, I noticed a pending charge of $500.00 on my credit card from United Trust Bank, which was surprising since I did call *** on April 28, to say that we didn't want to proceed with the loan. On May 5, I emailed *** to get written confirmation that I no longer wanted to proceed with the loan and to find out why my credit card was charged $500.00 for the appraisal fee. Her response was "No Problem and best of luck to you both! If anything changes, please feel free to contact me any time."
