Tupperware India delay in replacement and change of products

I am using tupperware products for last 10 years. Off late the service is detoriating. There is an inordinate delay in giving the replacements and the replacements of products are not one to one. We are forced to accept the replacements whatever is available on the given date. The consultant merely washes off by saying that company is not responding and if we don't accept the replacements it may result in further more delay and that to not sure of getting correct replacement as asked for. I am totally disgusted by the approach and have two minds to use tupper ware. I am unsure whether the consultant is taking me for a ride or the company itself is not able to service and meet the expectations.

Tupperware India replacement not done

Hi,

It has been pleasure using tupperware from last 12-14 yrs. But the experience is changing into displeasure coz of ur agent in our region. It has been more than 8 months she has taken the tiffin box for replacement which has not been done yet. She doesn't reply to calls. When I ask her to give her superior number, she doesn't respond. I was interested to be a part of tupperware but I coudn't get any guidance from her. Hoping my complaint and query is resolved here. My agent name: archana sinha. Her contact number: +[protected]... Hoping to get reply from here only and not have to go to other sites to escalate the matter.

Rashmi from Vasia . My distributor Sapna -vasai. We have sent the items for replacement from last 5 moth still we not received it. Its it very disappointing.

I had purchased 2 boxes worth Rs 500 each and the lids were cracked and given for replacement in the month of march with one of the agent from whom we have purchased but till now we have not got the replacement. Is this kind of service your company given . Please do the needful ASAP

Good day My name is Miss Behr I send some of my broken lids to Tupperware in Welkom. Date 10/10/11. They told me to bring in my base of the lids that I want to replace. So I dit, now its almost a year and I still hear nothing from Welkom, now they told me my stuff are missing and they will give me bowls that I don't need. if this is how Tupperware treat people I will told my friends about this and that they must think twice before they bought Tupperware again. Ps my bowls were just fine, why did they took it an misplace it. That is unacceptable. hope I can get some answers from you( the consultant in Welkom is l van Zyl 015043) serial no: 286913

i agree indeed very bad service. And now the agents even lie for selling their products. I purchased a set of freezer containers for which the agent sais that if i store any gravy in it ( or liquid thing) than no need to remove the container from the freezer well in advance unlike other normal containers. But after buying when i used it, it doesnt work that way. Its same as any normal storing container & after complaining it to the agent she said i cant do anything. Now thats mean. I have not spent Rs.1000 for a set of useless boxes.

not giving any replacements...all fake promises...i had purchsed many tuppareware boxes...all the caps of d boxes are breaking...even after repeated complains no replacement has been done...dey are cheating their customers

I have tupperware modular mates food storage containers which I use for dry food storage for items like flour, sugar, cereal, etc. Lately, they are leaching a plastic smell and taste into the food. I contacted tupperware since their products are supposed to have a lifetime warranty. However, it turns out that they are only warranted against chipping...

Tupperware India losing the quality

Hi,

I converted my existing kitchen to a tupperware kitchen a year ago.
Just after one year, I have loads of complaint on tupperware.
1. The lids of the stroage boxes are chipping off, sounds bad right? They (lids) are also losing the shape
2. The bowled over boxes lids too are pealing off.
3. The stitches of the executive lunch bag is separated, though I do not dump in boxes to that.
4. The 10kg storage box's lid does not close properly, small ants which are common here can easily enter in.
5. I took 2 set of tumblers, and even before using them, the lids had cracks, when I checked with the tupperware agent, she said that'll be exchanged, finally got it exchanged but with odd colored lids..

I wonder what is the purpose of paying so much for bad quality stuff.
Instead if I can get any other boxes for reasonable prices, and if they are broken, then I would not bother much about it as they are not expensive as tupperware.

The message is for the tupperware manufacturer, please inform you agents to exchange the stuff else you people stop the products.
There are better products with reasonable price available in the market.

Tupperware India return and exchange policy

I purcahsed the "flat out" food containers I am not impressed. They are very difficult to work with. They don't expand well. Then when you manage to open them and put food in them, you try to put the lid on, only to find that is when they flatten out. I wanted to exchange them for a different tupperware product. I called thier customer service number, only to be told that they don't do that when you purchase thier products at a party from a sales person and that maybe, "you can work something out with her." so the question then has to be asked, does tupperware really stand behind thier products or not." it has been my experience that they do not and you are the one who pays for it, whether yopu like it or not.

I was wondering if it was normal for the plastic cover to disintegrate after a few years. Please see photo below.

Hi I have bought a water storage container of 10litres from Tupperware and in a year it got damaged The outer lid just got a cut How does Tupperware makes things n give guarantee First the prices are too high n all defective products If so the dealer person should not give guarantee n replacement is also given by them Please replace as early as possible

I totally agree with this comment. Tupperware make enough money on their products I don't see why they can't pay the postage for their defective products. As for just ordering replacement parts I don't see why this has to be done online. If you attend a party the consultant should be able to order these for you just like any other item. I certainly will not be ordering anymore Tupperware.

I recently had a party and the dealer didnt have time to do our returns, she would do them at a later date.Well that was 1 month ago, now she calls and tells me she cant do the returns, that I must return them myself!What a bunch of crap!They used to be a decent company, what happened!Now I need to pay for shipping to return these broken pieces that are anywhere from less than 1 yr old to less than 10 yrs.Items less than 2 yrs are obsolete, even though they are in the catalog in a set!I am done with supporting tupperware, and I will tell all my friends and family!

I too have purchased ti & they are useless. On top of it the agents are not ready to replace it. The company has not kept its words. The jst sell their products & then dont take the responsibility.

I, too, purchased the flat outs when I was a new consultant. I was stuck with them, couldnt return them, and couldnt sell them cause no one wants to buy them. I donated them to goodwill.

Tupperware India bad service

Yes im writing in reference to tupperware shel smarts I have purchased 28 of these so called food storage containers. When I did this I got rid of all my modular mates which were great. I was told of how great these things were.

Well let me say I was very missinformed. I found my cookies getting soft in a few days, chips getting old and stale brown sugar getting hard as well as many many other stapels and some that were very expensive i. I called tupperware customer service and was told to pack it all up and mail to them at my expense and they would test the product and get back to me. I am getting ready to do this although I feel I should not have to pay for this when I payed to have it shipped to me when I purchased it.

A product they say is airtight even leaks water. Beware of these shelf smarts. Please if you read this and have had problems with this product please email me at [protected]@aol with shelf smarts in the subject line so I have some proof this product is bad. The customer service lady also herself told me that they have had many problems with this particular item.

Tupperware India scam and cheating

I signed up to be an independent consultant in august 2007. However, after a few weeks I decided it was not for me since no one I knew was interested in buying. When I contacted customer care to ask about a refund of my sales kit, I was informed that the company does not refund the purchase of the sales kit! However, per the consultant agreement,

'if I give notice of my intention to terminate my status as a consultant, company will buy back from me current, unused tupperware products and sales aids which I purchased within the preceding 12 months that are in the original packaging at a price which is not less than 90% of the price I paid for such products and sales aids. The amount of any bonuses paid to me in connection with the original purchase and any indebtedness owed by me to the company will be deducted from the buy back amount. The company may also deduct from the buy back amount any published restocking fee on such inventory repurchases. This buy back option may be initiated by either
Me or the company.'

The customer care rep (who barely understood english, since their customer care reps are in india) said that the sales kit is excluded from the buyback. I am now stuck with the kit and out $100 bucks! If you are thinking of selling tupperware, please be sure that people will buy it from you, and know that if you change your mind, you've lost money and are stuck with the kit.

I have purchased more that 60k worth tupperware products. Few of my containers lids are broken and the container is of no use now.
Please arrange for new lids asap.

I bought a 2 litre bottle, in beginning of September, at the end of September my bottle cracked, I was told it will take 3 months to replace, but I am still waiting. its now 5 months.

I have not been given any feedback, It does not seem that Tupperware keeps to their lifetime guarantee.

Hi,
i have been using Tupperware for last couple of years, but recently the service has deteriorated a lot.
i had given a few lids for replacement around 1 1/2 year back and still awaiting the parts.
The distributor says that since that these parts are no longer manufactured, that is why there is a delay.
I think tupperware should take back their "LIFETIME REPLACEMENT POLICY".

As a contract, you should be able to get back your money. There is nothing in that contract that says that the kit is excluded from the contract language. Everything has to be spelled out in a contract. I would insist and if they didn't comply, I'd file a complaint in small claims court. I know this is an old complaint but I am putting it here for the benefit of anyone who comes along later and reads it. The company was clearly wrong in denying a refund of the kit, and it doesn't matter a red cent whether someone else thinks the kit was a bargain. It's your money, not theirs. It falls under the contract because it is a product, period. If Tupperware wants to exclude the kit from refunds, they have to state that in the contract.
